We were touring the Ga area for a weekend get away & stumble upon Newman town. What a beautiful surprise! If you like little cozy family friendly towns this little American piece of heaven has it all !! From bkfst to dinner & a night in town you will enjoy it all. We decided to stay an xtra night to enjoy not only the arquitecture, history, food, but also the Saturday market fair! Oh yeah! & some shops are pet friendly they had water bowls for our .

Its right just South of the downtown so its within walking distance of other places. I think it should be used for more music events during the year instead of just once a month during the summer months. But that being said parking and traffic can be problematic sometimes. Thats my reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Thankfully the park can have food trucks during events so that is an added perk now.

Love the Newnan nights and free concerts. Only problem maybe there could be a no pets rule for those who are allergic. I was miserable after a few dogs were brought in some of us love animals but their fur and dander dont love us.

Nice area to sit and talk and maybe read a good book. Watch the traffic go by. The waterfall is relaxing as well.

Beautiful park for walks, concerts and picnics. Have tables by the fountain in case eating on a blanket is not for you. Wonderful spot for pictures. Lots of background chices (fountains, flower, greenery and pillars).

One of our favorite parks to visit while we are rock hunting. Its so beautiful. There is a nice fountain that our daughter loves looking at. Definitely would recommend this park.

I like this park....Its got a mature historic feel. I didnt see any children while here at all. Its a nice place to sit with a friend and chat.
