This is a beautiful new park with access to the Chattahoochee River above Nice campsites off Dean and Bush Head Shoals Rd.. Access here for kayaking allows boaters to enjoy a short paddle to the shoals.

The park was nice, small and pleasant for a picnic with the family. Easy access to the river. It has a very high bank though so sitting right on the river side is difficult.

Plenty of parking. Its a peaceful place where I eat my lunch on the benches overlooking the river. Also, theres a ramp where you can launch your boat or dream of having a boat... which is cheaper.

It is a great spot to go to to enjoy boating, jet skiing, and fishing when the river levels are good. Make sure you lock up your valuables in a safe place out of site in your vehicle. It is generally a safe place and the local authorities come through from time to time.
