Great smaller park. Theres a trail that loops around so you end up where you started. Nice creek that you can cool off in or stick your feet in. Also has a small play area with picnic tables probably a tenth a mile (if that?) Into the trail walk. My kids really enjoy it here and we come here as often as we can.

One of our familys favorite nature parks to visit. We all love playing in the creek here. My daughter went to summer camp here a few year back and I went to summer camp here 23 years ago. It is serene, calming, beautiful nature, great paths to follow, a small pavilion, and a childrens park. Plus, fishing is allowed and pretty good spot from what weve heard from other park goers.

Gorgeous hiking trails. Parking is limited, but it wasnt that busy. Mosquitoes were brutal the day I went there. Teach your kids what poison ivy is and why they need to avoid it if you go on the trails. Nice pavilion and playground.

This is a beautiful place to send a day walking in the woods. Serene place, a small stream, bridges across, some play area and good trails. There is parking on site a bit away inside from the main road. The google maps show a wrong road Art Lane which actually is into a sub-division of homes and a cul-de-sac. Go further about 100 meters and you can see the actual entrance. It is a dirt-road and the board on the side says, Vehicles should not be taken on the property.. Go ahead and go the parking lot to park. This warning is meant for taking the vehicles on the trails - may be ATVs. It is a bit confusing. You can also park on the road side and then walk to the property too. Anyway it is a great place to walk and have time of peace and tranquility. Closes at dusk.

The park is lovely, but suffering terrible erosion, weeds and invasive plant growth, and a great deal of poison ivy. Still beautiful and able to support wild life but needs a lot of help.

Very nice little park nestled in the middle of a lot of development. A good local place to have a picnic, walk your dog, or just get out for a short stroll. The Christina River, near its headwaters, flows through the middle of the park. Makes for a nice atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite parks in the area. Its mostly flat so the level of difficulty is low. The beauty is immense. The towering oaks, sweet gum and poplars lend a nice shade to you journey. The beech and iron wood trees along the water have such lovely trunk and root structure. Theres generally a cool, gentle breeze from the water perfumed with moist moss and wild flowers.
