Best kept secret of old Jewish Newark.The Jewish Museum of New Jersey is housed at historic congregation Ahavat Shalom, the longest continually operational synagogue in Newark.Currently the museum is only open Sundays, but it is definitely worth the visit

“Jazz Events”This is a small museum, inside a Synagogue, that has good free attractions during the year. I have been to a good amount of them. It is worth the trip when they are open.
