This is a clean and well maintained park with multiple playgrounds for kids and adults, great for a family picnic. Wonderful playgrounds, skate park, dog park, walking trails, tennis court, basketball courts and a decently large pond fountain where you can do fishing (not sure if theres any fish). Plenty of nice little benches where you can sit and relax. Lots of trash cans, so you don’t have to worry about carrying back your trash home.Plenty of geese inhabit here, these geese enjoy the grass spaces, but be careful when you walk near the pond and nearby grass land, they have made the grass their dump site.*Plentiful parking space.*Great for dog walk.*Great for jogging, walking, biking and other workouts.*Decently large park, so don’t have to worry much about social distancing, you can easily walk around without bumping into each other.

Great place for a family picnic. You could easily spend a quiet day social distancing here. In the Summer, there are concerts, flea markets and other events.

Lots of walking trails. Well kept park. Always clean. Lots to do whether it be the playground for the young ones. Skate park, tennis courts and basketball for the older kids. Pooches also have their own dog parks. On my recent trip I was very impressed to see a separate, specialized playground for children that are on the spectrum.

My kids and I love this place. I use to come all the time when I lived in Cecil County MD, now that I live in Sparrows Point MD I can only come up once a month. When we visited a few weeks ago it was a nice and sunny day and my daughter and I had a picnic there. The 3 different playgrounds are great because they are for all ages, they have a nice walk about you can walk around, they have a dog park, I believe a skate board park and a basketball court. Things for everyone to do big or small.

Great place to find mushrooms and animals! The trails in the woods are very flat and even, but they can get muddy, so be prepared after a storm. The cement walking trails outside of the woods are great for biking and they have a great view of the forest. For a small park its one of my favorites, for sure.

Glasgow Regional Park is one of New Castle County’s most accessible outdoor recreation attractions. It’s a perfect destination for those interested in experiencing the great outdoors without spending an arm and a leg and traveling halfway across the state. The park is full of wide-open natural spaces and multi-use trails. For those traveling with little ones, there’s a huge playground.Canine lovers appreciate the park’s designated dog areas. For sports-minded visitors, there are basketball and tennis courts, covered seating areas, and a skate park. The park can get downright crowded during peak times on the weekends, so plan accordingly.

This place is lovely, great and fun. There is a lot to do. Bike trails, walking/running trails, two dog parks, one for big dogs, one for small, many bright and colorful childrens parks, a giant hill, that people slide down w/snowboards, tennis and basketball courts and a inline/skateboard park. There is ample parking and exercise apparatus along the bike/run/walking paths. There is beautiful wildlife, deer, who are not shy. I love bringing my grandsons here, my dogs and just to walk the three mile bike/run/walking path and seeing people enjoy themselves, dogs too, in Gods creation on land.

Big park that is easily accessible with plenty of parking available in different regions of the park. There are tennis courts, play area for little kids, picnic areas and lots of hiking trails. There is almost something for everyone here. Good place to have small parties too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We had a wonderful time at the park. We have lived here for 3 years and never went until now. The park is set up with a paved walking trail and a street road for a car to drive thru beside the walking path. Good for someone disabled who still wants to share in the experience. There are also trails thru the woods if you choose that.We did and it was very nice. There was a sign up about bats in the park you may get to see. We didnt see any but we did see deer. There is a hill for the adverous to conquer but it does have a paved path up one side and leads out to the other side(the parking lot). There are several porta-pottys. One being handicapped accessible. There was no bathroom tissue or purell so might want to bring your own supplies Also, has a playground for children but we did not go in that section.I have included a picture of a tree that was blown over in the woods. Never seen anything like it. May have happened during the recent tornado but it was neat to see.Could defnitely do homeschool field trips thru there.Enjoy this spot of woods in the city!

Typically a 5 star park, but with covid 19, its a little too crowded with pedestrians for my preference as a place to run or walk. Otherwise, it has amazing playgrounds, a dog park, tennis courts and a little over a 2 mile paved path with an optional hill.

Surprisingly nice trails, skate park, playgrounds, and tennis & B-ball courts, for a completely free park. The trails are nice to run or bike on because there’s some dirt trails in the woods and also some concrete ones outside it which all link together and you can take whatever trail you want knowing it will be well kept and eventually lead back to the main part of the park.

I have been to this park many times. It is very large and it offers many things to do. Pleanty of parking at different sites. Lots of hiking in the open and in the woods. Less people hike in the woods. I are a lot of geocaches in the woods if you like that hobby. There are outhouses throughout the park.

Whats not to like it is a huge Park that has walking paths benches around ponds, beautiful scenery, to dog parks, a big play area for kids, a farmers market during the summer, many times there are events happening, and the walking paths are marked with distances so you can tell how far you walked. There are three entrances. For those who do not like crowds you want to hit the entrance that is to the right of the main entrance. There is plenty of parking bathroom facilities Im places to get water to drink. Its a great Park. My only suggestion would be to add some Street Decor to block out some of the highway noise. Its very easy to get to, on the corner of Route 40 and 896 in Glasgow Delaware.

Very nice BIG park... Autism friendly. Plenty of safe/clean play equipment. Theres a trail/walk area but I did not check that out. There also is a basketball court and plenty of pavilions for parties. Parking is in abundance but on nice days parking near the playground area is usually packed. I also like the fact that its within spitting distance of a police station. It is off of Route 40 but it is set pretty far back do noise is not an issue.
