Great hotel ocean Balcony. Hotel has a very large pool. This is my Favorite hotel in new Smyrna Beach. We have stayed at (Ocean Trillium, Best Western and Springhill Marriot)

Ive been an owner since 1985. And I dont regret a single year... even after covid. Words cannot express how much these people (staff and guests) feel like family. Clean and well maintained environment. Friendly atmosphere. Many amenities. Convenient location. It is hands down the best place in NSB to be.

Mildew in bathroom, and on ceilings. I informed the front desk and needless to say its still there. Been coming to this resort since I was a kid, over 40 years. There have been no upgrades, same decor in the rooms. Need a new designer and management.

Good location on the beach. Family friendly resort. We stayed in a studio, so it was small but did include a kitchen. The unit was clean and there was a full set of dishes and silverware for four. We were there for only a couple of days so the only things we used were the drip coffee maker and refrigerator. The staff were friendly and helpful. Furniture is outdated and the mattress on our bed should be replaced. Otherwise pretty laid-back experience.

Ive been coming here since I was too young to remember coming here. The guest clientele is a lot of pretty annoying people but thats true of any vacation spot. Great staff. Place is visibly ageing but it is still cozy and nice with great amenities.

We were given the wrong room for our stay. The windows didnt even open. We booked a ocean front with a balcony and queen bed. We ended up with a much smaller room no queen bed no balcony and parking lot as our view for our vacation. Very disappointing the elevators were broken.

Great amenities, a hop, skip and jump to the beach. Clean, friendly staff but the room for two was pretty small. Im an average size male (6 175lbs) but using the water closer was a little challenging.

Nice place its been here for over 30 years so its a little dated but its clean. They have daily activities for the whole family. The town shuts down around 9. Good size pool sits on the beach. Most rooms have an ocean front view

It is a wonderful resort on the beach. With a pool, hot tub, and stairs to the beach with a shower to rinse off after so no sand anywhere. Nicely decorated and very very clean. I would highly recommend it.

I’ve been coming to this resort for over 30 years (honest). Like any place it has its problems, but unlike other places, they listen and resolve the issues and problems.I’ve had my honeymoon here and bring my kids here every year.One of the many great things is that no matter your age or family setup, there’s stuff to do here. The only exception might be for picky teenagers. They seem to get tired of the sun, large warm tub, pool, and bathing suits.Oh it does have TWO hot tubs, but one is adults only — because of the >10?° temperature.

All was great.. only complaint. No restaurant or tiki bar on site.

We have been coming to this resort for about 20 years now! Have always had a good time and had a decent time this year! However in the years past always have seen a crew cleaning the rooms! This year its been one person per room! We arrived to find the floors covered in sand or dust! The tables had to be cleaned before we could use them! Bathroom tub had hair in it! And fixtures within the room were just lack of another work! Pretty nasty! We also came with two other parties whos rooms were as bad! Not use to this type of in consideration! Need to work on the cleaning and the friendliness of the resort! Was not greeted or spoken to once this week by any employee!

Impeccable service. Checking in was a breeze. We have been coming to NSB for 20+ years and have never stayed here before. But I am happy that we chose this place to stay! Our studio condo is so cozy and cute! Plus the cute pool is very warm. Great location being almost right next to Flagler Ave! Will definitely be back and tell all of our friends who are in the area!

This is a Time Share Resort. I stayed as a guest of the TS owner. Older building, recently remodeled. Very clean and all the amenities you could want on site. Pools, Jacuzzis, beaches and pool side entertainment. Had a great time. Hope Im invited back.

Its one of the best vacation places Ive ever been. Very kid friendly and accommodating two families with infant children plenty to do even if the weather isnt nice. I would recommend any family without question!

Very nice, but if you want a real ocean view ask for one on the second or higher floors. Ours was nice on the first floor and you could kinda see the ocean, but not unless you were standing and looking over the pool etc. The staff is super friendly and will help answer any questions you may have.

Very reasonable, available when other places werent. Clean, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again, just wish check out was a little later but I understand why.

Great place to launch. Free parking, i just wish they had actual cleats to tie up to. I launch and recover a 25ft by myself most days and being able to tie up to a cleat helps a lot

Positive: Location was good. Overall the grounds and facilities were good. Room was clean. Ok if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel. Negative: Booked an ocean front suite. The room was not three star. Not even close. There was no balcony. The bed was pathetically small and the mattress was uncomfortable. Bath shower area small.

Right on ocean nice size pool 2 hot tubs

This is an older place but it has been remodeled. Its not the fanciest place but it and the staff are both nice. If you do have any issues, the cleaning or maintenance crews come running. Overall nice place to stay and a bit more laid back than crowded Daytona.

Very friendly staff view was amazing but the units are a little dated the shower was ok if you are short. As I am 61 it would hit me mid chest . All in all you are outside most of the time

Older property but maintained with a great seasoned staff. have stayed here several times over the past 15 years and will be back. Clean, fun, on beach, pool, activities. Drive on beach is packed on weekends. Security on site parking and pool passes required

I was there for the 4rth of July and it was a great time. Fun pool activities and great location. I had a non balcony room and the bed was a little small. I think is was a double. The elevators were super slow so take the stairs. Overall a good experience and I will stay there again.

I own at the Islander Beach Resort and hadnt been able to come since 2015. It was the best I had ever seen it. We never had been here in the fall and it is WODERFUL! Plan to come next year the same time!

Small room, staff very friendly but ai Cool wanting to use heated pool told had to wait for more people to show up to pool early in mourning before opening because it is a headed pool. Rooms clean but dated.Was told pool be open ever mourning 900 am but not true

Every room had a full beach view, it was lovely!The unit was well appointed with a full kitchen and living room, we had one bedroom with a king sized bed. The decor was slightly outdated but still in good, serviceable condition. Loved the pool and the beach!

The first time I stayed at this place it was wonderful. Beautiful room great very. Big area with a balcony very thing was so great that I came back a 2 years later for his birthday surprise. I did the same as picking the same room with the same price. When we walked into our room it was very small no balcony like I booked for and top floor. The bed was extremely small. Not only that the smoke alarms keep going off the hole time we stayed there. It’s so inconvenient and nothing from management. It definitely was not a good birthday for him when he needed that vacation we even left a day early bc it upset us both. An still have heard nothing from management.

Overall a nice place. Good large pool, kiddie pool and play area and a couple hot tubs. Typical time-share style rooms. Ours was a one bedroom, one bath, kitchen, dining, living room combo. Maintenance could be. Some updating would also be nice, my 62 husband had to bend over to shower. The beds are terrible, thats something they really need to fix. The staff is friendly and helpful. The best part was the beach is right there, just a few steps away, I have multiple pictures of the sunrise over the ocean and its beautiful.

I was promised wheelchair accessible room 102 as Im paraplegic. My husband and I were put on 3rd floor on what was considered an accessible room. The maintenance personnel had to remove door so my 24 wheelchair could fit through Master bath door. I could not turn under sink so tough to wash face or do cleanup. I could not turn wheelchair to access commode not to mention shower. No shower from Sun til home on Wed. Husband and i both hurt ourselves in attempts to get on/off toilet for bowel program. Bed good heighth. Pool very accessible. No one available at front desk could make decisions after 3pm on Sun or other days as well. Will NEVER stay there again. If you are paraplegic you cannot trust you will get type room promised.

We booked the 2 bedroom with ocean view. Love the spacious layout, living,dining,kitchen,2 baths, and 2 bedrooms. Easily accommodates 6, but it was awesome for the 2 of us! Next time we will opt for the ocean front for the balcony,but really the ocean view is enough. Also, dont pay attention to the haters about the elevator, they need to get into the beach vibe and slow down.

We have been coming here for years and have always been pleased. I wouldnt consider this a hotel, it is a timeshare so it is apartment style. Clean, fantastic view and location. Its right on the beach. Pool, hot tub, exercise room (which I have never used). Its not fancy or trendy.

The resort has seen better days. There is a marked difference with the upkeep, and Management from 30 years ago. The rooms are fairly run down, and roach and ant traps are in every corner. The staff is friendly though and does their best to assist and accommodate. There are no on-site restaurants or bars. One has to bring their own food. That is no problem since the rooms have a kitchen.

Great for Family getaways! Next to beach and close to great restaurants Enjoyed seeing dolphins and manatees at Turtle Mound! Loved staying here!

The Islander Beach Resort is an older establishment with a beautiful beach view from every room. The unit in which I stayed was in need of an update as far as decorating but everything was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed with supplies. There is one large pool, a small kiddie pool, and two hot tubs all with lovely ocean views. The pool area Is clean and well stocked with towels and toys. In the lobby are two young ladies trying to sell timeshare weeks. They are persistent. There is a small exercise room and a nice sized arcade room. The Islander is very conveniently located. You can get to many stores and good restaurants in minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great view

So, mainly, I am posting because there are currently 666 reviews. However, I grew up going to this resort from about 1990-2012. I moved away and my family still goes each summer. It is the epitome of simple summer vacation.
