Nice ride, great scenery, but be aware the speed limit is 35 mph.

Hiked the backbone trail 27 july 2019 got a late started about 930am and got back to truck and was on the road home around 4 pm. I was not physicaly as prepared as i should have been...the last few miles sucked realy bad even though it was all pavement. I told my girls that it was like driving to el paso texas . Getting to san antonio is easy from there to elpaso is a test of your will... will definitely do it again in the fall...
