Pretty and pleasant. Great day to visit as it was nice and quiet. Took us all of about 20 minutes to see it all. Certainly not a spend the day kind of place. Plenty of opportunities to part with money though. Maybe fun during events, but I dont intend to find out as traffic was bad on a slow day and parking would be a nightmare.

This is a beautiful little town. Pretty churches, big old homes, sprawling trees, and Front Street with a French vibe similar to New Orleans, but without the extreme crowds. Great places to eat, nice people, just a pleasant place to visit. The mercantile store has anything you can imagine and if you are looking for a part to something that you think doesnt exist anymore, you might find it there. Sorry I couldnt provide more photos.

Natchitoches delivers every Christmas. Beautiful, family friendly, and great food. My only complaint is the food it a little too expensive. A funnel cake $7, nachos $10. Food is good, but City needs to charge vendors a little less so they can give decent prices to public.

I went to school in Natchitoches many years ago. I love visiting the area when I go there. I was very surprised to see the upgrade. I love the new stage. The flowers were beautiful. They even have a walk way. I do appreciate that they kept the old Roque House.

Charming. Friendly, lazy river, well maintained park, special events, farmers market and more. In a beautiful, historic town, this is just one more reason to visit this hard to spell place. Southern hospitality abounds in spades you are surrounded by history, flowers (yes, there are magnolias), and fine foods.

Everything is so beautiful. The only thing I am think is outrageous is the price of the use of the area where the water fountain is. 1000 dollars is too much for the outside use. The Ben Johnson Auditorium is 600 and u have access to kitchen bathrooms, etc. We pay taxes in this city. All these prices that has been put on Gods outside air and space is unreal. If anybody want to get married outside they will do better by getting married in their back yard.

The Christmas Lights Festival is a must see. I went on the day of the Christmas Parade. The parade was at least 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours and had bands, unique floats, and entertainment. They throw candy and beads. The shops on the riverfront provide fun shopping along with vendors set up just off the main road. The fireworks start promptly at 6. They are beautiful and are set to music. When they end the lights come on across the bank. The cost is $10.00 to enter the festival. Parking is $10 to $15.

This area has potential. The city, however, needs a more progressive vision in order to realize it, which means new leadership. That implies the citizens need to push for a paradigm shift in its town ways by becoming more involved in government and less on the trivia the city government offers. This area was recently renovated and now provides a very nice park to walk through but is still missing out on points-of-interest or some sponsored entertainment. The city government leaders are corrupt and needs to be checked for this area to blossom to its potential. The fake city laws the city leaders use (mayor & chief) cause irreversible injuries that damage the heart of this city. This is an important citizen concern for everyone. Many citizens just blindly follow these corrupt leaders and their unlawful pursuits. What can be the future for this city? The major interstate has already by-passed which leaves only a rickety narrow bridge into town.
