This is a very nice park close to the city with 2 full size soccer fields and two nice sand volleyball courts. There is also plenty of parking.

This is a beautiful park with an awesome name! You can take your dogs there, cook out, walk around and even play Soccer games there! Very Peaceful.

Will your car get broken into? Probably. Will you get shot? Maybe. But the kickball field is great.

On Saturday, 07-28-18 I took my Daughter and Grandson to this park for the backpack and school supply giveaway sponsored by Quanie Cash and others. The event was nice, the food and music was good, and the backpacks was the best ever!! It was just a delight to have someone like Quanie Cash come back to his old Neighborhood and give back to children in need! What an awesome blessing at a peaceful event in a beautiful park like Frederick Douglass in the East Nashville area!

I love this park. It’s got a cool view of down town and lots of wide open grassy areas. There are 2 sand volleyball courts and a kickball field and a nice playground for kids. There are also several nice soccer fields. Almost every night there are various sports leagues happening there so you may not be able to get on a field at night but it’s still worth a stroll.

This park is great! It’s enormous!! Tons of soccer fields with well kept grass, sand volleyball, playgrounds, walking trails, baseball diamond, and facilities. Among other things I’m sure. I think there were basketball hoops also but I don’t remember. We were there for a soccer game. I just wish it was closer to my house, but it really is in a great location too!

The team at Mid State Sports has really made an impact at this park. You need to check out the sport opportunities they offer to both our youth as well as adults! Great services to our community.

Nice park... fields arent the best. All fields arent lit which is frustrating too if using them at night. Not the best side of town, but its better than it used to be! Nice new playground area and sand volleyball courts though!

I go to Douglass Park several times a year for sports and its great!! Mid State Sports faciliate sports leagues there. Ive played in a few sand volleyball leagues there with MSSL and my kids play soccer there with MSYS.The park used to be really run down, but in the last two years its really changed a lot with the soccer fields, sand volleyball courts and the playground. If Metro Nashville would just add some water fountains, it would be the perfect spot!!!

Fields are unkept in some places, and there is no security, or cameras. Also the lighting needs improvement. and there have been cars that were broken into, and valuables stolen.

Never again with my daughter attend that school. Its more like a damn DCS schools. I think Ill parents are poor and just trifling
