On our visit to the River walk, we wanted to tour Millennium Carillon; one of the largest Carillons in the world.Unfortunately, guided tour of the Bell Tower is the only possible way, should you wish to behold Chicago Skyline from its observation deck provided the sky is clear.• Do keep this in mind & pre-book a guided tour to the tower.• $3 for ages 5+.• Use an Elevator to the top in case you can’t use the stairs.• Multiple Bells(72) in the Tower are played at certain time during the day.All I could bag was tons of pretty pictures in my phone gallery.#Downtown
Currently closed even though google maps says it’s open. Beautiful to look at though and make sure to come by at a time when it is playing music
Great park, and must see/hear the carillon if you are able.
Great place to fly a drone
While this is officially supposed to be called the Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon, everyone just calls it the Millennium Carillon. For $3 during the summer, you can take the tour, climbing the 253 steps to the top to see the Carillon and check out the views of Rotary Hill and Naperville. It is amazing to watch the carillon being played. See the photos. Beautiful place. Inexpensive. Wonderful views.
Good location to find Pokémon.
What an amazing experience. First, our guide, Nick, was super nice and told us lots of interesting facts about the tower. Second, the view from the top can only be described as breathtaking. And third, getting to see how the tower works and then going outside, sitting on the grass, and listening to the beautiful music it makes is simply Incredible. Makes you appreciate the experience at a whole different level.
Awesome park with a cool tower.
Great place, carillon has wonderful views, but I had service issues:1. The cashier, young boy couldn’t count the change right2. Nobody called us when the tour started
Okay hear me out. If you also have a slug in your brain, I have a theory. The dandelion fountain slugs have an ultimate goal. They speak to me, urging me to climb to the top of this building. I am sure that you are experiencing this too. YOU MUST RESIST! I am positive that once we have come to the tippy top; the slugs will have us drop to the ground. Exploding out the multiplying parasites that are growing inside. This is how they will spread. You cannot let them spread!
Great landmark, lovely sound! We would love to climb up the tower, but it looks like they are only open April 28 through August this year, and the hours are limited too. If memory serves me, its open for tours on Saturday and Sunday only. Otherwise, nice to stop by whenever there is a concert (like on Tuesday night).
Awesome place to spend with your family.Evening are more beautiful I feel, boating in summer is a must do thing .
Would love for this to be more accessible, by being publicly funded and free to local residents.
Always enjoy the Riverwalk!!
Spread out a blanket on the lawn and listen to one hour of fantastic carillon music then hit the park cafe for some ice cream. The evening we went the program was all old TV themes. Extra fun. Bring bug spray.
Weekend tours during the summer take c. 1/2 hour and cost $3.00. You can take an elevator part way up or walk the entire 285 steps to the top. Great views of Naperville with the Chicago skyline visible on clear days. Greatly enjoyed my visit and seeing the carillons 72 bells. Well worth visiting.
Great views. Tours to the top every half hour.
Is a great place, loved
Beautiful and clean park close to downtown Naperville.
Went on the 12:30 tour and loved the experiance. we had a large tour group filled with both younger and older people. Our Tour guide Emily did a great job of making sure we all stayed together and giving us facts about the tower,Carillons, Naperville, and the sights we could see from atop the tower.the tour was well paced. i was able to walk the 253 stairs without feeling rushed or out of breath (plenty of benches if you needed to rest)if you cant walk up stairs just be aware you wont be able to reach the top of the tower. The elevator stops short of the top of the tower but you will be able to see views from a lower observation deck
Beautiful view from top floor.
The odd-ball complaining about all the public money spent on the Carillon needs to do a little research before he spouts off. Aside from the 3 million in donations raised to build the Carillon, additional funds to complete the project came from the City’s culture fund. It’s a 1.5% food/ beverage tax, half of which is paid by non-residents, set aside for many cultural amenities like the Carillon. No funds came from real estate tax money. WASKE UP!
Looks pretty cool
Just s beautiful sight!
It, and the Riverwalk, define Naperville
One of the best views for miles. Definitely bring good walking shoes for the stairs. Walking up it is an exercise for sure, but well worth it for the view!
Super cool place! And we got to ring Big Joe!
Beautiful view from up. It is higher than The Statue of Liberty. Every full hour you can hear music that various sizes of bells are making.
Worst sound ever
The top has a great view, you can see Chicago in the distance. Great place to visit if youre in town
Nice place for walking and wandering
The bells have to be heard playing to understand their true beauty
This is a musical treasure. A carillon of such size and range is very rare.
Beautiful place to walk and explore
Noisy and ugly ... and a total waste of $$$ ... the people who authorize taxpayer dollars for this monstrosity should be jailed for misuse of public funds... and they should be required to pay back to the taxpayers any $$$ they authorized. If these elected officials wanted this piece of concrete junk, they should have paid for it themselves.
Ehh, just a building.
Beautiful place!
Ugly. Waste of money
Very enjoyable experience
The view is amazing.
Extremely large. They do tours.
