Great place to walk to from in the area.
Loved my experience here. Met a lot of nice spirits. Would recommend
This cemetery is a great example of a pioneer cemetery that was established on virgin prairie, thus preserving virgin prairie for generations. A regular burn cycle is apparently practiced here to preserve the integrity of the plant population. The cemetery is entirely fenced in and generally protected from intrusion by people. Some early settlers came from Vermont to this area, creating the Vermont Settlement. Thus the cemetery is named so. It appears like adjoining land is being established for creating a prairie restoration of some sort. Much of the adjoining land was formerly a sod farm for many years. The virgin prairie in the cemetery is at a higher ground level than the adjoining land which has gone many years of mining as a sod farm.
Small and short. Walk next to houses, not nature-y enough.
Everyone loves it people are dying to get in there
Who owns this?Can I buy a plot?
