This was our first time at the dog park ever. We have a 4 month old pup and were anxious about taking him but need to get him some socializing. The park has excellent amenities with a transition double gate area for entry and exit. There is a separate area for small dogs and then a larger area for all dogs. There is also a nice separate area with a pond for the dogs to swim in. I was really impressed by the other owners and how well the dogs did together. Lots of area for the dogs to run around as well as a good walking path circuit to take them on. We had a great experience and will likely return.
The best dog park in the Treasure Valley in my opinion. It is found Nampa. Always well maintained with plenty of space for dogs to roam and explore the territory. Ample seating space and shade for the non canines. Only wish is that we had lights at night during the winter hours. Plenty of dogs all day long use this Park.
We love the Nampa dog park! There is a pond and a stream for the pups to play in. I specifically like that it has a fence around it so if I dont want my pup wet she wont be. They have a small dog area and a large dog area. In the back of the park there is a huge hill to play on! It is even better that the humans clean up after their dogs. The have benches for people to sit and and water fountains for humans and dogs alike. Its all around a good park!
This is a very nice dog park. I went there as a training exercise for my dog. Once hes good, Ill go back.
Clean, many options. Could not try water features, too cold. Guest told me water could be gross. Like to try again. Bags available.
So amazing all the dogs and people are so friendly. Definitely will be bringing my boy here again
Absolutely love this park! I have a very energetic cattle dog and this park offers the space he needs to run. My dog and I go here almost every day
One of the best and coolest dog parks I have ever been to! It is really well maintained, with water stations throughout there are also well stocked poop baggies and trash cans throughout! There is an awesome lake with a ramp and running fresh water feature! There are also toy stations with balls and frisbees.
Wish Boise had as good of a dog park! Always making improvements. Thank you Nampa, its worth the drive!
My friend took his dog Sasha there and lots of other dogs were there. The dogs had a meet and greet. Its a friendly atmosphere.
Best dog park that I have been to. Love the pond in the middle of the dog park.
Great place, clean, well maintained, my dog loves it here and I love bringing him here. Has area for large dogs and small, also during the summer the swimming area gets unlocked. Park get closed once a month for maintenance.
This is definitely the coolest dog park in the valley. Trails, benches and even a pond. Great time!
I loved all of the paths and even the little pond! There was also a blocked off area for little dogs!
Lots of different breeds, clean and my dog loved it here great to get out
Great place to being your dog. Many friendly dogs. Water for them to swim. It also has poop bags with trash cans. Water fountain for people and plenty of water for animals. Bathroom and double gate entrance. Friendly people as well and kept clean
Myself and my 4-Legged kiddos LOVE this place! It is so beautiful and very well maintained!
We travel by this area a couple times a year. We always stop here, to let our three dogs run. They love it here, and so do my wife & I.
Both of my dogs love going to that Park and it is a good one.
Mostly great, nice little walking path. The short stream feature is a nice touch. Couple issues: pond is pretty dirty, I think I wont let my dogs in anymore. There are a couple drinking fountains that arent working or else are leaking.
Fantastic place for dogs of all sizes beautiful fenced pond area for swimmers fenced off area for small dogs and plenty of room to play fetch with dogs who just gotta run
Best dog park in the area. Fenced areas for all dogs and separate for small dogs. Fenced water access in the summer as well.
Really fun and big! Has streams and a lake for the dogs to play in. Clean and safe
This is a hidden gem! They have a separate fenced in area to let you decide if you want your dogs to get wet. Nice grass fields and lots of fun in the pond and steam
Lovely park with tons of space for the dogs to run and lots of friends for the pups to meet!
People are always friendly and the dogs are a lot 9f fun!
Nice park, small dog and big dog separate area, and a fenced off water section.
Great place for your dogs. Lots of friendly pups and parents and tons of room to roam.
Well fenced, large park area. Has a fence area for small dogs. Has a pond for dogs that like to swim. Also fenced.
Great dog park, love the water features and the great community vibe.
Awesome! The park is a good size to throw the ball and social interaction with other dogs is 95% positive. My dog really loves cooling off in the pond, but, it is starting to get a little murky. I like that they have a seperate small dog area, porta potties, drinking water for dogs and their owners. The grass is coming back pretty well after hard use throughout the winter.
Great place for off leash dog fun
Well taken care of. Dogs love coming here.
Great park. Lots of room to walk and run. Easy access to drinking water. Theres a dog pond in the warmer months. Theres also a wonderful community of regulars. We just got our first dog and were all learning so much there.
So many puppies I love this place my 2 puppies loved it
Fantastic dog park me and my dog Kobe a Shar-Pei love it ️ friendly pet owners also
It was another great day at the park.
Great place for my dog to get out and get her energy out!
My dog loves it, but that black, muddy water behind the first bench closest to the small dog area is ALWAYS GROSS! Fill it in with sand so at least it wont be nasty when wet. This Northside park is very busy. You are not going to find EXTRA MONEY to create the Smith Ave dog park thats been waiting for over 3 YEARS. JUST DO IT!!! The city will reclaim that investment back from all the ridiculous building and population growth that is claiming all our farm ground and out-pricing property for Idahoans!
Great dog park. Very well maintained, several diffrent areas for diffrent activities.
Great place to take your Dog.
Very nice and well-maintained
Really nice area well made maintained nice place to take the dogs
Loved it so much room and a great place if you want to walk while your dogs are playing
Super nice, long walking trail. Separate pond area, plenty of shade trees. Small dog area.
Nice place just wish it was bigger:)
Love the nampa dog park awesome people clean with water for the pups
Such a great place to stretch the dogs legs! Theres a simple and easy double gated entrance so your dogs can get used to the excitement, then all types of great spots to play with your furry friend. I love that they have a separated section for small and shy dogs and then a pond for the dogs! Great work Nampa!
Beautiful park! Clean and well designed.
Big park my pups love it, just needs more water flow so the pound Doesnt get so mossy and algae
4 separated fenced off areas. 1 for little or shy dogs. 2 for dogs that dont play well with others. 3 free for all with walking paths and trees. 4 for water dogs (water is clean and constantly moving.) Water pumps throughout. My Lu loves it here! Lots of other dogs to romp with!
This is an awesome place to take your dog. My dog just love playing with the other dogs and I have not seen a mean one their. The park also usually has a good veriety of dogs to look at.
Some people dont clean up after their dogs or keep control of them.
This is my dogs favorite dog park!
The best dog park Ive seen in a long time. Only that there is a little poop probably. So watch your step. Not everyone pickup after their dog. Good place to collect poop karma :)
Our fur baby loves playing at the park, great place to walk and have your baby run out their energy! Pond during the warmer months for them to swim and cool off, this place is really well taken care of!
Love the space of roaming for my pups. Also the nice swimming area to cool off if theyre hot. My one dog likes to walk through the ditch behind the pool of water. Easier mess to clean up too! We go to this dog park several times a week. Very grateful to have it nearby.
This is my favorite park in the valley, not just because it is right by my house either! It has fresh water available to the dogs all year round. There are sectioned off portions of the park specifically for small or shy dogs. It is a really homely and fun place to be.
Largest and best enclosed dog park in the treasure valley area.
Love this place. It’s nice they put in a gated pond for the dogs to swim in. It’s nice to do loops and walk on the path with the family while the dogs run around and play. In the summer there are doggy water fountains, and a little water area for the dogs to cool off in if they don’t want to get into the pond. We’ve been going about 4-5 years now. It has gotten a lot more crowded in the last couple of years though. With the new dog park in Meridian, maybe it’ll be less crowded now.
Nicest dog park in the valley
I took my two dogs to the Nampa dog park last week. Now they both have a terrible cough. I recommend bringing your own water bowl. Other then that its a great place.
Best dog park ever.
This is a great location plenty of space for your dog to run around. It’s not to far from the down town area ware allot of businesses are pet friendly. So you can take your dog to town and stop by here for some real pet friendly fun.
Love taking my dog here! He loves it too. It has a lot of space for him to run around and also a small pond for when he wants to play in the water.
The only thing that could make this place better is responsible pet owners. Most are great, but there are a few....otherwise beautiful park.
Bad place to take your dog. People bring aggressive dogs there, usually Shepherds. EVERY single time I have been there I have had an issue with an aggressive dog and equally aggressive owner. Plus my vet said that dog parks are the most unhealthiest places you can bring your dogs do to all the bacteria in the water and diseases from other dogs even if your dog is vaccinated!! He said it is taking your chances with your dogs health by taking them to dog parks!! No more for me! Especially that one!!
Large, Well maintained dog park. Has an accessable fenced off, pond area and a fenced, separate area for small dogs only. Has benches and cover for shade.
The park is large and mydaughter and I have just as much fun walking around on the path while our dog plays.
All 3 of our fur babies are obsessed. Very beautiful dog park. As long as Im in Idaho this will be the only one Ill be taking my babies to.
My dogs love it there
Love taking my german shepard here!
The park was nice a little wet in places and the grass hadnt come up yet, but none of that will keep me from going there.
This place is very well maintained and a great dog park. It has a huge large dog area and a decent size small dog area. It also has a water feature and a fresh water pump so your doggo can drink after running around all day.
Great place to take your dog!
This location is great if your wanting a large fenced area to have your dogs run and play.
A really great dog park. The pond is closed for the winter, and segments were fenced off, I am assuming to save grass. The park is big, it has differing terrain, covered places to sit. Cant ask for much more in a dog park.
I love this place, not sure if I will ever find a better dog park. Small dog area, big dog area, and water area. All closed off in their own sections. Grass is taken care of, or attempts are made.
Very nice. Dont come here
Always a great place to exercise your pets. Clean and fairly large grounds.
Great place to get your dogs energy out. My lab enjoyed the dock and water fetch. Different fenced in areas for different sizes of dogs available. We enjoyed the dog park.
Love going here with my rottie never had a problem
Nice kept area for my 3 little dogs to run and play. Theres a separate area for the big dogs to run in to keep them away from the smaller dogs. Most of the people are friendly and nice to talk to. Some people dont clean up after their dog so be careful walkjng in the grass.
Its a great place to take your dogs small it large. I go with a friend so its a bit out of the way for me but definitely worth the drive. Dogs go home tired and happy.
