Great show by some very talented people. One lady that did the Whitney Houston songs was really good. The tap dancing was awesome. I just wish they would have had some sort of program for us so we could have known the names of the performers.

Just love this show. I’ve been coming here with my family since I was very young and my family has been coming here since their opening season. This has been a family favorite every time we come down to the beach and always what we look forward to the most. Love to see some original cast members are still around. Great talents, and the new talents they’ve added are just fantastic. Always a fun time and sing a wide variety of music including some older country, modern country, rock and roll hits, and pop! It has a genre for everyone and no one covers Johnny Cash like Eric Gumm! We went to the Carolina Opry and Time Warp show. Loved in the Opry they did some old country hits. Was great to sing along with songs that my grandparents would play for us when we were young and loved the Woodstock segment of Time Warp. I HIGHLY recommend this show whether you’re local or traveling from out of town. You will not be disappointed. Along with the cast members, the entire staff is super kind and want to make sure you have a great experience.

Very nice show, very organized staff and friendly staff. Only thing I would suggest is more snack selection! Aside that great place for entertainment.

Very good show with a lot of talent. My only wish was that the last half of the show had songs we were more familiar with. We were in section C but it seemed like there was not a bad spot in the house. Love that they give thanks to the veterans too!

The Christmas Show is a high quality, must see event. This is a very nice theater with comfortable seating. The arm rests have cup holders, and they can be raised if not wanted.

Loved the show! Very talented cast of performers. Various genres of music were presented. I especially loved the classic country & 80s & 90s country segments. The cast made the genres presented come alive.

Went to see Time Warp on Sep 25, 2020. Really looked forward to a relaxing and enjoyable date night with my wife. Regretfully, what we saw was a show content that has not been updated for a couple years. They now condensed the show, eliminated the intermission, seemed to rush through the songs, shortened the entertainment by All That, and made us feel as though we needed to hurry and get out of there. Also, the national anthem at the end is also played so so modified by the guitarist that one can hardly recognize it - this is offensive to myself and many other people. An overall disappointing experience for the same price.

Loved the Christmas show, im obsessed with sopranos & they sounded heavenly, the male singers were also wonderful to listen to as well. Really got you in the Christmas spirit.

I was expecting a decent show but what we got was oh so much more!! The degree of talent was off the charts! The comedy alone had me in tears laughing so hard! We have been coming to Myrtle Beach for 10 plus years and this was our first time going . We will be going again!

The show was great but lacks diversity. The backdrops for all the time periods had absolutely no people of color as if we didnt exist during these times. There was 1 person of color as a performer 1! Sad

Just watched the show at Carolina Opry. The comedian was the best! Sooo funny. Disappointed in the songs, as nearly enough country to even qualify as opry. The singers had great voices!, no complaints at all with that. They did put in a country medley into the second half, but not enough for our group. Loved the cloggers. Our group was a little shocked at one of the dances performed, and some of the songs just weren’t our style. Guess we were expecting something different. Bought the “package” which includes the Time Warp show; seeing that tomorrow night.

Food was soso. Waitress was nice kids seemed to enjoy. Actors were talented. Line was hot outside

Show was great, seating was well spaced between patrons. Try to avoid sitting on outside end of rows, you lose sight of part of the stage but wont realize until things get started. That was our only disappoinment.

The Carolina Opry is a Fantastic show There are two things that you have to see when you come to the Grand Strand, the ocean and The Carolina Opry! Its that simple. The first variety show in Myrtle Beach and still the jewel in its crown. I have been coming since 1987, and have watched it grow into the entertainment phenomenon it is today. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. The show provides country, vintage rock, gospel music, comedy, dancers, magicians, so there is something for everyone. From the moment you enter the stunning two-story marble lobby, you know youre in for an extraordinary experience that your family will remember long after the sand has been shaken from your shoes. An amazing show so do not miss it you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic show, great stunts, food was great as to say exceeding expectations with its pirate charm. Well worth price of admission.

Went to the new regular show Saturday February 22. It was upbeat and modern performed very well but they need our support. It was poorly attended but it,s as good as the show at Alabama theater, just needs some pub and audience participation. Im a new local born in the early 70s and its very nostalgic for my generation. We need to show them some love, their audience is fading. Needs our support!

We go to Myrtle Beach every year but this is the first year that we decided to take our family to go see the Pirates of the Caribbean show. Once we left there we had been asking ourselves why this is the first time we have gone! The tickets were a bit pricey but we got a coupon for them somewhere and I will tell you they are worth it! The show is absolutely phenomenal and you get a tremendous amount of food. I will warn you that prior to entering the show you will be walked through a very attractive gift shop that is impossible to avoid. Be prepared to buy some souvenirs from there or else bring some goodies with you to distract your littles. The good news is there was a broad range of items from various price points so it didn’t necessarily break the bank. My only con would be the price of the photos. When I see a company print out photos and then astronomically jack up the price only to discard them because people don’t have that kind of cash to shell out, my blood boils. Just lower the prices of the photos so that way people will buy what you already have printed! Our photo was super cute but not only was it expensive the whole ordeal trying to get it at the end was very disorganized. I ended up standing in a terribly long line only for them not to be able to find our Photos.

We went to see the Time Wrap. We saw it last year too. A very good show with lots of energy and great singing, although one female singer and one male did most of the singing. We enjoy all the singers and wish some of them sang more often. The reason for 3 stars is that it was the exact same show except of one song. When your paying for a show you assume that it will be different. Even if half of the songs would have been new, we would have been happy.

Absolutely fabulous! The cast blew us away. The Christmas show is an annual must-see! Amazing talent, gorgeous costumes, beautiful music and dancing, plus magic and comedy. A true treat for the entire family. We will be back!

Every time my family visits Myrtle Beach we catch the show at Carolina Opry. Weve never been disappointed. The shows are for the whole family.

The dancers, comedians, and magicians rounded out a well-timed show that we just can’t seem to stop talking about! As soon as the last curtain fell, we purchased the show to share with our family and friends back home. Thanks to the Carolina Opry for making my family’s Christmastime so special. We can’t wait to return again!

Your tourist or local money is well-spent here. The shows are a couple hours of tight-packed, family-friendly live music entertainment. Dont think this is just country music. Yes, theres country; but, they also deliver on fun, high-energy pop, soul, and classic standards. They feature local musicians, cloggers (the boys pictured below were in Americas Got Talent), comedians, and vocalist among others. Additionally, the shows get switched up throughout the year and vary by season. You can grab a beer or cocktail to enjoy during the show. Check out these local artists and you will not be disappointed.

I go here every year for my sons birthday. And every summer. Im a local and I always enjoy the food there. And the show is magnificent. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!

Went to see Time Warp tonight. The best music of the 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s. It is a fast paced, high-energy show featuring American popular music. Beautiful costuming and flexible dancers. The singers were amazing. Highly recommended.

We saw the Time Warp show last night...AMAZING show! So much talent! The theater is cozy and comfortable. Seats are not cramped and there is plenty of space between seats for people to walk by you. They sell drinks (beer, wine, soda) and popcorn and candy. The show started right at 7 with a 2 song pre-show and at 8pm went to intermission. It was over by 9pm and leaving the lot was seamless. The music was amazing. The first part was a constant turnover of talent singing popular 70s and 80s songs and the second was the entire group in a Woodstock setting singing 60s songs. Several cast members stood out. There was also a clogging group. These guys are called All That! and appeared on Americas Got Talent and WOW they were awesome! It is amazing that such amazing talent hasnt been discovered. We would absolutely return!

One of the best Christmas shows I have been to. Very talented cast with great singers, dancers and musicians. The facility was top notch and decorated handsomely. We were part of a large group, and the staff were very gracious and were willing to help the older patrons without waves. It was a bit pricey, but was definitely worth the price of admission. Cant wait to go back and see the Eagles tribute!!

What a fantastic theater this is! The Christmas show was the best Ive seen in my 61 years. Joy, laughter and good cheer were on stage and you could feel it reverberating throughout the audience. As we left, people were smiling and laughing. Thats the sign of a great show.

One of the best variety-style Christmas shows Ive seen! Unbelievable talent in the performers, particularly the vocalists, but there is something for every taste...instrumentalists, dancers, comedians...you name it, this show has it. Our family of 5 loved it, from the youngest (9) to the oldest (41). Highly recommend this for any family in Myrtle Beach!

Outstanding, we enjoyed the whole experience. We have been coming for 25+ years. Great musicians, multi talented people. This is a family friendly establishment, I will be going again probably in May 2020. Again best musicians and singers anywhere. I give them a perfect 10.

This was a wonderful place to see live music. We are from Maine and had the pleasure of seeing the tribute band Led Zeppelin. Box office staff Billy Ray was exceptional and went above and beyond to meet our needs. First time seeing a show here and he made it a great experience.

We saw the original Carolina Opry show, and highly recommend it, even if you arent a country music lover. Theres something for everybody. Chasity and Delvin are real showstoppers, and the cast is so kind and friendly too!

Ive been to two concerts so far, the prince tribute and gladys knight. Enjoyed both. Try to get floor seats as the balcony seats have no cup holders and dont feel as roomy as the floor seats. I love this place.

I already forget the bartenders name, but not those that eyes. Tasty bloody.

Great venue for a concert. Good acoustics from any seat in the theater. Saw Travis Tritt Solo and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a ticket issue that was resolved quickly and professionally by the staff. Comfortable seats and good views from any location.

One of the best shows we ever seen

Wonderful theater with great variety shows with music dancing and. Comedy. Staff is nice. They did a salute to veterans and people in the armed forces. The performers also stayed after to meet with the audience and chat. I would go back.

The Time Warp Show... What an amazing experience! As a birthday gift I took my sisters family and my parents to the show. There was something for each generation. We loved it! The cast performance was out of this world. Already making plans for next year.

We saw a fantastic show here in June 2019. Music from several decades. Rory Jon Zak was amazing! All the singers were terrific. There was a comic that was super funny too! Must see when in Myrtle Beach!

We were at the new show last night 2/08/20. Of course it was a fantastic show as always. But the background music was almost overwhelming the voices of the singers. It was difficult to understand the words. Not being critical, just hoping you might soften the background music to make things better for the next show. Boogie was a hoot.

Wow, what a show. I was entertained from start to end. Top notch performers. A must see show to see while staying in Mrytle Beach.

Saw the Christmas Show Of The South. Best stage show Ive ever seen! Music, dancing, singing, comedy, and magic. Very good show. The Opry itself was very nice, and the employees were polite and helpful. Will most likely be coming back in a few years.

Unbelievable, recliner style seats. Super comfortable in an inclined stadium style configuration.State of the are sound and visual equipment compliments a Broadway quality cast!This is a must see if you are in the area. If it happens to be the Christmas season then YOU MUST SEE THE SHOW!!!

We saw the Russian Ballet and it was a great experience! All parking is close in and theres not a bad seat in the house.

On the day I visited, there was a performance sold at a discount rate for foster parents and children to enjoy. The performance was excellent, as has been for the 34 years Carolina Opry has been open. Food at snack bar was high in price, but the venue was clean and comfortable .
