This was our first time to Myrtle Beach. We saw James Stephens, it was an awesome show. He is so talented his voice is awesome! He made us laugh the whole time we were there, at this time in our country it was much needed. We also enjoyed Frank on the trumpet, great job!Thank you Mr Stephens for such a wonderful night. We will be sure to come back on our next visit.

We had such a great time at The Asher. James Stephens is a man of many talents. Love how he interacts with the audience. The Otis Redding and Whitney Houston tribute was awesome. It was also a pleasure to meet James wife, Grace. What a great couple! This was our first time to The Asher and we will certainly return when we come back to the Myrtle Beach area!

Great theater! Great performers! My first time attending a show at the Asher theater was the Elvis show last night, WOW what a great show. Wonderful atmosphere, small theater, table set up for social distancing. You can enjoy wine, beer, soft drink while watching the show. I will be back!

Friday evening the Asher Theater presented a Otis Redding and Whitney Houston tribute. The acts were incredible. You would swear they were actually in the room. Upon entering the Asher you were met with a smile. Universal precautions and social distancing were maintained. An array of beverages and snacks also available. James Stephens III opened and closed the show...he truly is The Man of a Thousand Voices. Whether you are local or visiting Myrtle Beach make the Asher Theater a stop!

My 5 year old son and I attended the Motown show. It was absolutely wonderful! My son kept talking about the show at the Asher and wanted to go again. We attended the motown show the 2nd time as a family, it was as good as the first time. Extremely talented group of performers! I highly recommend you check out this show before its gone!

Elvis show was terrific. Lasted almost 2 hours! Great musicians. Elvis sang non stop giving everyone his songs from the past. You got to see the show!

My wife and I witnessed the “Motown Review” on February 16, 2020. It was AWESOME! Each member of the group had a wonderful solo voice AND they blended perfectly. All the best songs and dance moves. Sound system and lights were great and the group was as tight as they could be. If you like Motown THIS is the show to see. Highly recommended

Went to see a Lionel Richie tribute show on Valentine Day 2019 with my wife and we loved it. Mr. Stephens III is a very talented entertainer and puts on a great show. A warm, welcoming atmosphere and everyone from the ladies at the ticket booth to the performers seem happy to be there and glad that you came. You won’t get a bigger bang for your entertainment buck in Myrtle Beach.

Spending the evening at Asher Theater with family and friends made for the best BIRTHDAY ever! I thoroughly enjoyed the show! The performances were outstanding. And Mr Stephens is a very gracious host.I cant wait to be able to attend again.

James Stephens III is a gifted entertainer, and he brings in some fantastically talented acts to his venue. The entire staff at the theatre are very welcoming, and the setting is intimate. I would highly recommend going to any of the shows. You wont be disappointed.

The show was good but the mix up wasnt. I bought tickets for the Paul McCartney show for tonight but the show is on Sunday. Asher Theater screwed up the dates. Make sure your going to the right show. My tickets said Paul McCartney... Oh well....

What a great place to see a show! Not a bad seat in the house. Just saw The Man of a Thousand Voices, James Stephans, and was completely blown away by his performance. He is supremely talented and funny, and you would missing the boat if you ever have the chance to see his act and dont go. Seeing a major talent like James in such an intimate setting was absolutely amazing!

Went to the Asher Theater for the first time today and really enjoyed the music of the Irish Tenors. The mix of traditional Irish music and some popular musicals was great. Their voices were rich and filled with wonderful harmonies. The theater was also quite nice. Tables and chairs for the guests gave it a sort of speak-easy feel. Wine, soft drinks, water and some goodies to eat made for an added plus. The general feel of the place and the furnishings was quite enjoyable. If I had one reason to give 4 of 5 stars ot would be the quality of the sound system. It was good but not great. For such talented singers, the background tracks and overall soundsystem quality could be better.

Great performance by Dublin Irish Tenors. Small club like venue which gives you a personal upfront view. Outstanding singers. A hidden gem.

A must do if you live here or when visiting the area. James Stephens III is marvelous. What a mutitalented gentleman. We had the opportunity to see him perform and speak to him and he will warm your heart with his stories, make you laugh until you cry and hear many voices through his impersonations. We enjoyed the show immensely and cant wait to return.

Just saw the show tonight, Man with a thousand voices, in a clean intimate theater. His show was entertaining and funny which led with consistent laughter from our group. Do not pass up this show though the theater is not on a main road. Must do and well worth it.

This theatre is a little gem tucked into the old Waccamaw Pottery Mall. I’ve been there twice to see performances of Jersey Boys and Irish Tenors. They’ve done an amazing job at decor creating a hospitable environment when you enter the theatre. The theatre is small and guests can sit at tables. There are beverages and snacks available for purchase. There is no bad seat. It’s a very comfortable environment and the shows I’ve seen there have been wonderful. Highly recommend.

Great show and a very nice venue. James Stephens III is hilarious and we got much more than we paid for. Its now on my list of favorite spots in Myrtle Beach. Definitely recommend!

Located in the old Pottery district. The Asher Theatre is a rare jewel of the Myrtle Beach area. Owned and operated by The Man of a Thousand Voice Quaint table seating for two like seating so come early and expect to wait in line for some shows. Not a bad seat in the house. Shows are amazing and lots of interaction with the enterainers. Beer and wine for sake along with popcorn, candied pecans and soda. Gift shop and photo op area. See the event calender for shows. Price varies but there are locals specials.I highly recommend The Asher Theatre.

We saw The Man With a Thousand Voices tonight. James Stephen III is hilarious and we laughed until we cried for the whole show. The theater is very nice and everything was well appointed. There are snacks and beverages available and we will definitely return and bring friends. ️️️️️

This was our second visit to the Asher Theater. Great family friendly comedy that lacks nothing in laughs while not leaving you sorry for bringing anyone along. Nobody will be offended and everybody will be bursting out with laughter. This will be a regular entertainment spot for us. Looking forward to the Delfonics concert here this summer as well.

I had the pleasure of attending the Harold Melvin and Bluenote show on Saturday, August 31st. Anyone who didnt see it, well you missed a show!!!Awesome, simply awesome!!!

My wife and I attended the Grand Opening Gala for the James Stephens III Scholarship Foundation. The venue is beautiful! Its a great addition to the Waccamaw Pottery area and will be a big part of breathing new life into the area. James is an incredibly talented comedian and impressionist that will keep you laughing the entire show. If youre looking for a fun night out, dont overlook the amazing Asher Theatre.

The Theater was quaint and comfortable. It was inviting and the pianist in the lobby was wonderful! Being a Christian theater, it is a great place to to bring your kids. My 12 yr old liked it without even understanding all the musical references. They have a charitible aspect to the theater that is admirable. James and his band are wonderful performers doing great things fro the community as well!

James Stephens is a true entertainer and his line up of friends from the entertainment industry provided a stellar evening for the opening of this most unique venue in Myrtle Beach. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome, the staff is friendly, the theatre lobby/retail area is inviting and the cotton club style seating in an intimate setting (its all general seating and there isnt a bad seat in the house) is the perfect setting for a fun, family evening. James Stephens command of the stage and his ability to read his audience make each of his shows new, exciting and refreshing. His quick wit along with his incredible vocal talent will have you laughing out loud and starring in amazement with his spot on impressions. Youll think youre really seeing Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles singing a duet or that Prince isnt really dead, hes on the Asher Theatre stage. I could go on and on but Ill stop here. The facility recently opened...due to location there is ample parking. This is a small theatre with tables and a snack bar (alcoholic beverages). The employees were extremely courteous sharing info about future shows. A definite must go to.

We held a private event at the Theatre and by far the choice of this venue was the best decision. The the owners are very involved and great people to work with. Definitely the best venue and entertainment establishment on the beach.

The grand opening weekend (April 13 and 14) was fabulous!!! Beautiful facility, beautiful people, great focus on the community and unity. This is also a conference center and event venue. Readers should note...the two people who gave the Asher Theatre low ratings did so even before the theatre even opened! That doesnt make any sense. Please do not take their ratings into account when deciding whether to visit The Asher.

Jersey Boys show was fun. A great sing-along show and it is encouraged! Not exactly a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons sound alike, but a fun up close and personal venue.

Small intimate theater.Tables and some seats around perimeter. Suggest high top tables in back and sides for better visibility for patrons.

This show is the best family oriented Christian Comedy show in Myrtle Beach. James is the man of a thousand voices, the greatest impressionist of our time. The theater is beautiful and it includes a convention center. If you have not stopped in, you are invited. Tickets are available on line and they offer a discount for groups larger than 10 . These groups must pre purchase 3 days in advance to ensure setting.
