We had a wonderful time despite COVID restrictions. They are doing an excellent job with gaps in seating, having people enter and leave by section, and masks all around. The horses are beautiful and I love knowing that the money goes back into breeding and training at such a great ranch. All the actors look like they are having fun too. It was a great time!

It was a good time. Lots of family fun. Food was good. Make sure you go hungry because its a ton of food. Napkins are super cool. I wanted to save mine. If you plan to save yours I suggest you stuff lots of napkins in a purse.

Always a fun show, however; for the first time we opted to buy a bottle of wine over drinking by the glass, this proved to be a big mistake if you (like my family and I) like to start the festivities by loosing up with a cocktail. We ordered a bottle of wine to which the bartender told us it would be brought in shortly after seating. We sat and waited and waited some more. The entire arena had been sat and served their first course and we still had not received our wine. A total of 40 minutes had gone by before being brought to our table. Understandably you cannot walk around with a full bottle of wine but the wait time was a bit of a bad start. If you order a bottle be sure to also order a glass or a cocktail before assuming they will have any care to serve you as if you haven’t already paid a good amount for your parties attendance as it is. I would give 4 1/2 star if possible being as it didn’t ruin the night but it was a hindrance to enjoying the begging of the evening.As always though the show never disappoints, if you have young ones be sure to give them this experience, my son is 14 and has gone several times since he was six and it never disappoints! If you want salt then just ask, if you want seconds then just ask. Make sure you tip your wench too!!

Wonderful show! Ive been to other, similar shows but this one was over the top. Actual jousting.... Cmon, you cant beat that. The food was great and the show was wonderful. Plus the horses were gorgeous.

Medieval Times was awesome!! A great show and great dinner. The characters and the costumes were so beautiful as were the horses. The joust was really cool too. The souvenirs and extra drinks were pretty pricey, but thats to be expected. Overall it was a great experience!!

The show was good, but I was disappointed with the audio. Everything was so loud, voices of the actors were distorted at times making it hard to understand.We had amazing seats and, inside the arena, I was impressed with social distancing. The $18 upgrade for the celebration package was not worth it. We got a lanyard that said VIP but nothing special seemed VIP. The celebration banner was a flimsy small thing, nothing keepsakey about it. And the announcer doing the special annoucements absolutely butchered ours :( it was our 20th anniversary night out and he got tongue tied or read it wrong and it came out word salad.The staff of the bars were amazing, our waitress/wench was meh.The chicken and corn was delish. I wish there had been other options for soup as my husband isnt a tomato soup fan and i am lactose intolerant, given ice cream for dessert.Overall we had a good time, just wish we had opted for the regular package.

Even during these crazy times it was an amazing experience! As someone who was going for the first time I was mind blown at the atmosphere and excitement! Im also extremely pleased with the way they have handled the current concerns and was pleased to see they tried their best to allow for safety amongst the fun.

Love going to this place!!! Love the knights, horses, queen, food, and etc. Youll be cheering hard for your knight and maybe even get a flower from him! Watch as the knights compete with one another! Also watch the horses perform for you! The whole family will be having fun cheering!

This was my 3rd time over the years. First time for my kids. They loved it! I love that they loved it. Always a blast! Be prepared to drop a bit of money, as pictures and toys add up. If you ok imbibe alcohol the bar is nice too, but also expensive. Worth every penny though for the memories.

I was thoroughly entertained. The one I went to was not very full and probably been a lot more fun with a full crowd. Once the joust started it was very fun. My only complaint is I think there was too much filler in the show. Overall, I give it a very enthusiastic thumbs up.

We had a great time! The show was great and the food was surprisingly pretty good, chicken was excellent! Our server was really good. They are taking social distancing and cleanliness very seriously, we felt very safe here and it was great to see a show again in a safe environment! We have seen Pirates Voyage in the past and we enjoyed this more, highly recommended!

Great place for the family to visit. Kids loved it and my wife and I enjoyed it as well. The food was good enough...chicken, potatoes, soup, etc. They do a good job of including guests into the story and having everyone interact with the show. Probably will take the kids back sometime.

My family talked about this the whole ride home so it was a hit for us! The only thing I didnt like was the ice cream. It tasted like amoxicillin. The kids liked it though so..... thank you for the excellent dinner and entertainment. Please consider changing to chocolate ice cream.

You know when you have a great experience as a child and you want to relive that as an adult, but it typically isnt as great as you remember? That ISNT the case with with Medieval times. I had tons of fun even after my whole group of friends bailed on the trip. I cant wait to go back! (Also cleanest restrooms you could imagine.)

I came here as a child and loved it. My mom and I decided to take my daughter as a treat, getting VIP passes for the full experience. The show was great. The actors were great. The food and service... disappointing. Our waitress was no where to be seen for most of the show. Our food arrived late and cold (20 minutes after those to our left) and the waitress attempted to take it away not even five minutes later. The soda was heavily watered down from melted ice and extremely flat. I understand pre-pouring the pitchers before the show to save time later, but that shouldnt sacrifice the quality of our overall meal when we spent close to $250 for three people. We didnt even have our photos brought to us, as they said they would be. When we approached the staff after the show to ask for them, they acted as though they didnt believe us as if we were trying to pull one over on them and get extras for free.

Fantastic experience. One that will be sung by bards for years to come. Long live the Yellow Knight. May his victories prove true and his blade remain ever sharp.The feast was superb! The serfs told me it was young dragon, however, it may have turned, for it tasted quite fowl. Still, it was pleasing to the tongue and filled mmt belly well. I shall treasure my experience until the end of my days.

My husband and I attended the 4:30 show and it was amazing. It was clean and everyone was following the safety guidelines. The show was amazing and my husband and I had the best time. I recommend going for the upgrades. My husband was knighted and got a sword (well worth it) and we sat front row. It wasn’t crowded and the meal was good. Neat experience to eat everything with your hands. Everyone stayed in character and treated us like royalty. We will definitely be going back to take our children.

Great food and awesome show! The food was delicious and the show was nothing less than entertaining and exciting. You will quickly get lost in an earlier time as you cheer on your teams knight in the competition. The show horses and falcon were beautiful and so fun to watch. Definitely worth the money for this show!

A lot of fun. The food is very good. I actually liked eating with my hands instead of utensils! The performers really put their all into their performances. Be sure to cheer loud for your knight! Would definitely recommend! Be sure to look for coupons in those little area coupon books.

This has to be the best experience I have ever had while visiting Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Great environment and theme, great gift shop, outstanding customer experience, really delicious meal consisting of an entrée, four sides, a dessert, and a seemingly infinitely refillable drink!But the show. Wow. Absolutely fantastic. Well worth it. The entire family will enjoy it.I highly recommend this!

The show is good, but long. Our server was nice but slow. The dessert was a tiny dish of freezer burned ice cream that even my children didn’t eat. We paid for VIP spending over $500, it was not worth it. One cheap souvenir flag cost $12 extra, our drink glasses cost on average $30. The food was ok but no silverware is used so it’s messy.

It was awesome. Our waiter Sir Arron was perfect with every course. Very nice. The food was excellent and perfect portions, no utensils required. That was my only bad thing I didnt prefer but I bet if I asked they wouldve provided.

Everything was wonderful. It had been raining Monday so this made it enjoyable. While I had looked into the menu for possible food allergies I didnt think about seasoning. Was a bit salty for my diet, but if you consider that in midevil era they used a lot of seasoning on food....but the menu was wonderful!!!My only regret was that because of the stupid virus I couldnt get any personal pictures with the queen & court. That would have really made the evening memorable.Maybe 1 day.....

We had a wonderful evening and show at the Myrtle Beach Castle. Everything from soup to desert was excellent and hot when severed. The chicken was hot, juicy, and tasty. The corn and the potato were also hot and seasoned well. We have eaten at the Atlanta show and MB is better. Our knight did not win this time but the show was also excellent. We had a discount code so that cut our price in about half. This castle will be a place to go to on a regular basis because it is well worth the price. The instructions that were in the e-mail that you have to print out the tickets or use a kiosk at the castle was not needed. I stressed a little because we could not print out the tickets on my phone and at a public computer. All I had to go was go up to the counter, give my name, and we received our tickets. Much, much easier than explained and what I thought I would need to do to get tickets. Everything was supposed to be on line to maintain distancing and when I got to the desk at eh castle, I got the impression that we could have bought tickets there and save the processing fee. Ho well it was worth it for the night.

Such a fun experience. Ive been before but this was my kids and wifes first time. The show is always fun and the food was much better than when i went to the Baltimore location in 2005. Just be energetic and loud during the show and have a blast!

Absolutely fantastic show and a must see!! The servers are nice and same with everyone I talked to. Masks are to be worn, they space everyone out appropriately, and I felt comfortable being there. I am ready to go again!

Be prepared to use your hands, you do not get silverware. The show was pretty cool, food was fantastic and beer was wildly overpriced. 5/5.Edit : Was just informed by the owner that they do in fact have utensils. I still recommend not using them, makes dinner far more interesting and memorable.

Great show with amazing service. The entertainment cant be beat. The food is hot and flavorful. Or knight even won.

COVID policies were in place and followed well. Food was generally decent: chicken was REALLY good and plentiful (1/4 chicken was served), potatoes were undercooked, corn and bread and ice cream with caramel sauce were middle of the road, tomato soup and cake were HORRIBLE. Sword fighting and jousting were action packed and FUN; Id love to be there when the entire stadium is full to hear all the cheers (COVIDs social distancing had it down to about 1/3 full). Generally a fun time, and a great way to ring in my sons 11th birthday!

Went for our sons 9th birthday and had the BEST time! Yes, its pricey, but we felt it was worth every penny!! The show was super fun, the food was great, and it was spaced out enough so that you didnt feel like you were being rushed to eat. Actors and knights did an amazing job with characters and our whole family got into cheering for our knight to win!

Good seats, was engaged in activities. Food was cooked to a juicy perfection, drinks were not empty. Sound of the queen could have been adjusted, she had a very high tone. But you could hear everyone speaking with ease.

First experience here and we enjoyed the food, but disappointed that our knights we cheered for lost twice.Other than that it’s amazing family entertainment.

I loved this. My wife has been to one before and wanted me to experience what she experienced. The line to enter was quick and they had a fancy way of checking your tempature. They have some stands where you could buy survivors like freaking swords and stuff for kids. They also have a bar but fear not if you didnt get a good adult beverage they will come by your table and ask if you would like one. The food was amazing and the show was fantastic. I also love the fact that my area had the winning knight. This was definitely worth it in all its Glory.

I cannot say That I ever get tired of mediaeval times. Ive always loved the atmosphere of mediaeval times along with the food And overall performance of the Knights in Queen. Ive been to a lot of dinner shows in my life and this still after 20 years is my favourite one.

I have always loved Medieval Times. This trip was for my daughters first birthday and was her first trip to the castle. Everything exceeded my expectations. She had so much fun, the service was incredible and the food was amazing. I love the experience more each time I go.

When visiting Myrtle Beach in South Carolina this awesome dinner show is an excellent entertainment option for the whole family. The horses, the costumes, and even a falcon demonstration are all part of the fast paced show. The food is a fixed menu that is served in stages as the show progresses. Food quality is a mixed bag, but the main course ( always a chicken half ) was very well done. The entire meal is eaten with your hands to add to the atmosphere which adds to the fun. There is a temperature monitoring station at the entrance to screen all attendees for Corrona virus and social distancing is enforced while you occupy the building.Highly recommended for a fun family night!

I had a blast. We did the Queens package. Well worth the money. Upon entering they take your temperature. We got our photo taken. Made our way in to the tavern and shop area. All ths staff are very compliant and actively cleaning. Seating was nicely spaced. Our server was pleasant and brought our food to us when ready. The entertainment was better than expected. The knights are very skilled and talented horsemen. Definitely would return again.

Awesome show and the food was also great. I went with a 10 year old and she loved it as well. The horses did some cool things and the falcon that flies around over the crowd was amazing. Im sure well be back.

Its a horse show, and a bird steals the show. Tons of fun, just a good old fashioned time. Beautiful horses, the fights were great food was delicious.

There is good and bad here.The good: super entertaining, great decorative atmosphere, very family friendly.The bad: besides the chicken served (which was very well seasoned and cooked) the food was sub par, soda was flat, and we payed almost $50 for one cocktail in a souvenir glass. The entrainment was good but the acting was horrible. There are so many Instances where the acting was so bad it was comical. The tipping method was confusing. They handed you a card with list if credit card option then the waiters email. We werent really sure exactly how it worked. Luckily we had cash.I could go on and on but you get the jist.

Great show.About food chicken was great, bread I don’t like b/c of garlic, potato was good, corn very chewy, dessert I was disappointed to find out that they no longer serve the apple turnover and now have a very bad ice cream with caramel.

This place has an amazing story, costumes are amazing, and the acting was phenomenal. There was one horse that messed up, but its okay, its not the staffs fault. The food was amazing, the tomato bisque was absolutely delicious. 10/10. I love it.

Good luck getting a refund! Unfortunately when we were at Myrtle Beach plans had to change that was out of our control. As of now all of their call centers are closed and they tell you to email them and they would be more than happy to communicate with you but its been over two weeks now and 8 emails later and no one has contacted me back. Very frustrating! Its amazing to me that they can take $390 of your money in about three seconds but do not have the courtesy to contact you back by email or phone number after you have given them all of your contact information time and time again. Very disappointing to deal with a company such as this

Amazing! I love the vibes that this place gives off; the horses are beautiful and the knights are in character. They interact with the crowd and provide a fun show! The storyline was super cool, and the food was good. The souvenir shop is well decorated and stocked; its a great place to reserve for a celebration!

Medieval times is an exciting adventure. If you have never been, I recommend going at least once. Ive been twice before and my wife had never been and we both had a crazy good time. It may seem like the price is high, but there are always deals going on. Also, it is worth the price. For the show portion, theres horse tricks, Knight competition as well as jousting. Be prepared to eat with your hands as there are no utensils. The food is still great and easy to eat. It was a three course meal. Soup and bread, followed by main course chicken, potato and corn. Then ice cream for dessert. There is a bar in the waiting area, as well as a large gift shop booth. They sell a range of stuff from real weapons, to keychains. The show is about two hours long and you definitely need to get their 75 min before your show as the line to get in can get long. Fun for the whole family.

What an amazing show! Props to the actors but especially to the horses. They were amazing! The entire staff was great! They are a bit on the pricey side but well worth the money. I got a bottle of their honey mead with their medieval horn cup and its awesome!! I have been here multiple times and they have never disappointed. They also have a dungeon that you can check out that shows all the medieval torture devices which only cost 10$ when I went for everyone. We also looked at all of the swords that have for sale which included the sword and shield from Zelda. Good stuff.

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a family friendly environment with dinner and a show as it implies in the name.I have been going to Medieval Times since I was 9 years old and every time its always been exciting and fun.You will scream yourself hoarse but thats all apart of the experience.The servers and the rest of the employees of Medieval Times make it seem like you really are in the Medieval ages even if were in the 21st century.The horses are always gorgeous and the Knights are always at the top of their game in the games, jousting, & combat.I personally wish there was a bit more story to it and longer fights with higher stakes but it still is as fun as always when I go.

Surprised by how delicious the food was! Loved the show, my 2 year-old who hates siting and only like to watch dinosaur shows was so well ENTERTAINED and enjoyed the show I was so surprised!!! I really thought he would have a fit anout it but he loved it and the cheering and claping and horses and food, such a great family experience will definitely do again!

I dont even want to give 1 star but just to post my review, here you go. The horses were foaming at the mouth to where it was dropping out during basically the entire show and the guy that rides the black horse when the light was off of him, the horse was trying to hold his/her head down, and he kept trying to pull its head up to where he even pulled it up by a large chunk of its hair. The metal bars that are in the mouths of the horses, I can assume do not feel good to them but Im no expert.I always try to see the good in situations, but this treatment in a whole, just didnt sit right with me. It felt wrong.

We have been to the show many times since my son was 7, he is now 29, and we love it. The show never disappoints! I was very comfortable with the Covid protocols being followed, as it helped me relax & enjoy it even more! The only negatives I have were the soup, not very tasty, and the ice cream dessert was terrible, tasted freezer burnt. The rest of the dinner was excellent and we will definitely be back, hopefully someday with grandkids!!

This is not the first time I have been to this show and it will definitely not be the last. Always have a great time. The food is real good and the show is awesome.

Just received a call from them telling me they were canceling the show for tomorrow night. We drove 10 hours to see this show. Tomorrow night is our last night here. Highly disappointed in this last minute notice. I mean people drive a ways to see the show and then have to waste time and money for something that doesn’t happen. This was supposed to be a special date night for my future husband. I upgraded our tickets even got medieval times style clothing to wear. I’m hurt and angry by this.

Medieval Times is also a great show seen it in Myrtle Beach. The show itself is worth the admission and you get a meal on top of that. Do yourself a favor and search for code or discounts and save a few bucka but it is worth the cost. The showman ship was great. Horsemen ship and horses were top notch dont miss it.

The family and I were there this Thursday(8/20/2020) at the north myrtle beach location. Had a great time. Very entertaining and was surprised at how good the food was for it being mass produced. Special thanks to employee: Grace for replacing a soveneir cup that we accidentally dropped and broke during the show.

Didnt know what to expect as it was my first time, it was on my bucket list and I knew I had to go! Im so glad I did!! In my everyday life Im rather reserved and professional, yet I found myself lost in the show with the awesome arena lighting and effects. While I was there I screamed for combat, cheered on my knight, and raised my mug to the sky with victory! It was the most fun Ive had as an adult and it was awesome to lose myself for awhile. The food was good, but the show is the best part! SANTIAGO!!!!!!!!!

I had the best time of my life at Medieval Times, Dinner and Tournament. My family sat on the Black and White side, and our knight won. I had so much fun and had fancy dinner.

Amazing performance and the food is to die for, so juicy and flavorful. My hats off to all the performers and cooks. Especially for all their hard work and training that must have been done for such an awesome show. Well worth the money. Definitely recommend this!

We came early and got great seats, but the trinkets were EXTREMELY expensive. Not worth the money I paid for mine, even though I do love the artwork on it. Amazing swords that are real and are gorgeous. But, after getting mine, I saw someone get a sculpture, the man dropped it and the wings broke off. She was given no refund whatsoever and was told she needed pay again to get a new one. Kinda sad. :( The meal was amazing and we were supposed to finish with a Dessert Of The Castle! Sounds great right? We finish tomato soup, potatoes, corn, garlic bread, half a chicken to be welcomed by... a 6oz paper cup of half melted vanilla ice cream with a tiny Carmel drizzle. Was expecting something amazing and felt we should’ve gotten the celebration pkg which added birthday cake for free and was cheaper for a better dessert. Aside from that, show was great, but there is a dungeon of torture that is not good for kids. I’m scarred myself and will probably have nightmares for a while.

We received a call a day before our reservation. They cancelled because they didnt have the attendance required. I dont know if they have ever heard of common courtesy or good business practice, but normally you give people a little more notice than 24 hours. Our reservation was for 9 people.

Definitely not worth over $200. No food selection and not really kid friendly meal. Wont go back or recommend.

I loved it! The show was phenomenal...(I fell in love with one of the knights lol) Joke aside, the performers, the horses, the food and the servers...everything was great. I highly recommend it and will come back again!

I was very impressed with how clean they were and new protocols during COVID19. Their capacity is 1000 people but are only allowing 250people per show. Their staff was fully equipped with face masks and shields during check in as well as their servers. Temperatures were taken upon arrival. Hand sanitizer was available for their guests. Overall, i would highly recommend and say this was by far the cleanest place to take your family out without needing to worry about it not being sterile enough

Excellent Experience! You can get into the experience as much or as little as you want. I wish I wouldve dressed the part. The food was fabulous as I am Vegan and usually dont have many options when eating out. At least that taste worthwhile. Great staff. Very professional. I would definitely go back in the future!

Really enjoyed the visit during covid times. Precautions where made and maintained. Missed some of the energy that a full room brings but greatly enjoyed.

Show was excellent. Food was OK. Chicken had way too much oregano. Sides were good. Desert was mediocre. Drinks are pricey, but well prepared.I did not appreciate the snide comment from one of the jackhole managers when I asked if we were late.

So the waitress spilled all of the drinks for 2 rows onto us... my kid and partner. We paid almost $200 for specialty drinks in specialty cups that never arrived because they were spilled and forgotten. Toward the end of the event I realized everyone else had been getting refills while we sat there thirsty and unattended in the front row - $200 plus tickets plus the $200 drinks... lol. They brought the drinks at the last 10 mins of the show after I had to leave my seat and my child to ask another bartender what happened... they told my 5 year old and I to “chug them”, and left. I once again left our seats to find the elusive sever to take the drinks as we had less than 10 mins to finish the $200 tcash drinks, (minus the kids of course).. waitress begrudgingly took them, and kept the $40 tip.... lol. Shame. We live nearby and go to the Pirates show often - much better service there.

This was so entertaining and unexpectedly enjoyable. Its a 2 hour show with a full dinner delivered ( it was delicious and the half of chicken was more then enough, they offer doggy bags) throughout. Waitstaff is extremely friendly and they stay in character the whole time. The horsemanship is breathtaking. Coupons available everywhere ( I got the best deal with my Sams membership we only paid 38.00 a ticket, they were 56.99 the day of the show). The reason it got 4 stars and not 5 was because 1. When you walk to be seated the air is heavy with the smell of animal waste. 2. They were clear about your seating (they are colored section) but, once you get there it becomes confusing as there are then numbers on the sections. 3. The souviner cups are outrageously priced without a drink in them. But, it was a great evening with our family and we would go again.

Such a fantastic place. Fantasy meets real life and its more than just a show, everyone should visit at least once. Get there early too, let the excitement get to, grab a goblet and have a great time!Great food, dessert and VIP stuff good be a slot better for that upgrade, but would be definitely be back for the standard rates.

Love the show. Service is wonderful. The torture room museum was very interesting. The horses are beautiful. Food was ok. Price was good.

Everything was Great... Weve been about 6 times and never been Disappointed... we Love it and well go Back...

I loved this event! The theatrics were absolutely amazing and the horses and hawk were so cute. Drinks were a bit overpriced but should be expected.
