Mansfield Park

This park has great potential, but is in serious need for some general upkeep and sprucing up.The lake is nice, but has become quite overgrown with weeds and moss. Trash bins were completely full to overflowing on my latest visit. Trails are in good shape, but the ball field seems to be abandoned.

The lake water is unbalanced. It needs fish that can eat the moss. If cleaner would give five stars

Mansfield is my polling place very organized and well planned socially distanced and clean and sanitized and the poll workers were great and the votersWere pleasant

Park has been closed for a while due to Covid 19. Needs some maintenance done but overall a nice place to fish and enjoy the scenery.

Love the relaxing atmosphere here, just wish it would stay open til at least 11pm... Says on a sign close at dusk yet the guy in the truck always has everyone leave at 830 or so in the summer and its nowhere near dusk. If anything, start charging ppl that want to fish at night (like $6 for the night)but keep it free of a day. Muncie owns it, have the money proceeds go towards the schools or something...

This place us to be a very nice place to take your family and fish, play or whatever, The city has just let it run down, Trash wand weeds everywhere. What happened, Taxes go up, And less city properties maintained

Great place for a wedding...especially the Gazebo! Lots of seating and you could have a wedding pretty much anywhere here, and have your reception inside. Or, if the weather is bad, just have everything inside! Very affordable. Love the gazebo, and the lake is just beautiful.

I love walking with my daughter to this park. I live nearby and its always nice, clean, updated park! My daughter absolutely loves the slides!

Parks not very big but is nice and has a lot of tables for an outdoors party.

Clean, beautiful, small park that is well maintained, other than its cement driveway. Lots of geese and an easy place to through a reunion, or cookout even.

Great for all outdoor activities. No swimming allowed. Playground,baseball fields and a huge pond for fishing

Mansfield Park is a relatively small place, which can be nice. There arent usually many people there, and it can easily be accessed by the Cardinal General, as well as by car. The pond, while not remarkably clean or tended to, is kept well stocked, and can be an alright place to fish if you wouldnt rather have a more sporting or scenic time. Its a nice place to stop through and relax for a while, but dont expect many reasons to stay for long.

Mansfield is a nice park. Its close to the Cardinal Bike Trail. It has a pond with a Gazebo and a lodge that can be rented. It has picnic tables and a nice play area for the kids.

Great place to relax or have a picnic. I wasnt very lucky on catching any fish there but its quite and worth visiting.

Good place to go fishing and have a cook out with children they have a playground for the kids to play at while you relax
