McCulloch Park

Great place to go for a jog, bike, or walk by the river, great safe trails, basketball court, Frisbee golf course, perfect hills for sledding in the winter. I just like to park my car and enjoy the view of the trees, and wildlife before or after work. Come see why its a hidden jem and get lost in its splendor

Gorgeous park with lots of green space and a jungle gym for kiddos to play on. Lovely walking along the river as well, especially in the fall.

I had my baby shower here in cabin6. The basketball court is always hopping with people looking to live their best life.There is an amazing Frisbee Golf Course as well as its right by the river. Theres a huge play area for kids.Ive never had any incidents of violence or hostility in the park.Theres never really a lot of population except on the basketball court and overall its just a great place to take your family to either have a picnic, play, take photos or rent a cabin for a little while to have family get-togethers reunions!

McCulloch is a lovely park. Its right along the greenway and has a soapbox derby hill, perfect for people that want a hill to walk up and down to work out those legs and glutes, two great playgrounds, basketball courts, a cabin that can be rented and several picnic shelters. Not to mention the disc golf area that was put in in 2008.

Needs more restrooms around the disc golf area, that and the basketball courts the two groups who use that park more than the homeless and weird guys hooking up everywhere. Not a great kid park but a wonderful disc and adult hang out park.

Played the disc golf course. Its very long but definitely a good course. Some challenges but overall not bad.

Really nice park. I came here to eat my lunch since everywhere is closed for covid. Nice tables. Lots of poke stops, if youre into that. Only complaint is I didnt exactly feel safe.

We had a great time on United Way Day of Action to help clean up McCulloch Park!! The park is beautiful and a great place to take the family! It’s really big and we were so proud to help out such a great part of the Muncie community!

Its a nice clean park but be aware of the gravel lot on the back of the baseball diamond.

They have a really large area and a nice, new playground. Theres also an old playground there and a baseball field. The bathrooms were a bit trashed so that is a downside.

Beautiful place for the family and for a relaxing time

It was quite and you can sit in you car and watch the white river flow by while you eat your lunch or read a book.

We had dinner at the park very nice and quite evening.

Historic! They have a Stop the Violence Basketball Tournament there every year!

Like how they have a box car Derby track

Beautiful setting, large spacious grassy areas. Ball diamonds, frisbee-golf course. Quiet and serene. Play area and a couple pavilions. No cook stations and hardly no picnic tables. With so much area, it seems that there could be a spot for cookouts and there is a definate need for restocking of tables. Other than the handful of tables parked under the pavilion, I found one table to sit at, in the whole rest of the park.

Finally found a disc golf course marked worse than my local course..could be a nice course if your a local or know where all the teepads are at

Its not that great all that park need a remodel

Theres a great new playground here for children of all sizes as well as the classic playground that I remember growing up. If theres snow on the ground this is the best place that I know of in Muncie for sledding. A beautiful park to drive through with wooded views and also a road along the white river. Frisbee golf course too!

Great variety for a family day at the park. We love the walking trails and use the soccer field often.

The voices were good, I had a wonderful time fellowship ing with the people.

Visit the park regularly for the view (wildlife etc) Its always a nice change from cityscape

Very clean park well-maintained bathrooms are locked though that kind of stunk because I really had to go P by all-around good park for the family and activities you want to do lots of room lots of grass just a very well-maintained park lots of fun for the whole family

This park has the best sledding hill that Ive been to in Muncie. Normally, little hills arent worth taking my snowboard to, but this one is. The paved part of the hill thats probably used for box cars in the summer is great for sledding. Its really smooth and you can sled pretty fast down it.

Its a good fishing area.

I like it. I spend a lot of time there, or used to anyways. Some safe its safe enough others disagree. I have slept over the night there at the dam many times and I have never had any problems. Its a place I go to run from my problems. Lol just make sure u and your children stay out of the river. It has raw sewage at times depending on how much it has rained the night before or during that week.

Great place for sledding near the soap box derby track. There is parking at the top of the hill, a shelter and picknick tables where you can watch your kids.

It was nice brought memories back

First of all it was 90 Plus degrees outside which it usually is in the summer. I believe the cabins need to be equipped with air conditioning. it was an event for an older person and it was very unbearable inside, for everyone. The second thing is the grass was not cut for the the long holiday weekend! (Holliday being Memorial Day) I could not believe the grass was not cut! And that the cabins does not have a fan or air conditioning, thats something the park department needs to have upgraded in the cabins.

Great park with lots of things for little people to do. Many places for picnicking. Restrooms are sure creepy and almost always dirty and have no toilet seat.

A very nice city park in Muncie, IN. Attended my Sons high school baseball game v Muncie Burris. Historical baseball park former home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. A well respected facility and park.

Park was clean and beautiful. My kids had a great time.

Its so clean and beautiful the kids had a blast plant of space and cabins and trails.

Fun and not too steep of hills, good exercise walking back up the hills

Upkeep good but seems to have a lot of wasted space.

We love the playgrounds here. All three of our kids have a blast.

The best sled hill in Muncie. Great trees, basketball courts and frisbee golf.

Lots of sketchy folks around for a reunion. Bathrooms were nasty. Nice playground, though.

Well I wouldn’t know how to rate this because I couldn’t find it. Clicked on directions and GPS took us out last Delta in the middle of nowhere. So I think the link for directions needs to be corrected.
