We had so much fun! There are more models and fun things to read than I was expecting. The flight simulator was a real blast!

I had a great time at the International Radio Control Helicopter (IRCHA) Yearly Jamboree. Great for spectators, bring a chai and some shade and enjoy!

If youre avid about the hobby, its deffinitely worth the time to drop in and see what is inside.

Check out the days when they are open. I didnt and will have to make another trip. Should be a good visit!

A great museum that captures the technology evolution of the field.

This is a great place to see old and new model aircrafts. The exhibits are always changing and make it a place to visit frequently. Have even seen that they have a Facebook page that they live stream some exhibits and the employees.

Must see museum! If you are into model aviation check it out. Lots of nostalgic items that go back to the earliest days of model flight. You can see items that are no longer used, and extremely rare items that you will only find in a collection somewhere, well the National Model Aviation Museum is the place that has that stash to see. Stop by and help keep something great going for many more generations to come...

Great small museum. LOTS of model planes on display. Some really cool hands on exhibits. Would definitely recommend this place. Might come back if Im in the area. I kinda wish they had more model airplanes to buy in the gift shop.

Very cool to see historic things from the modeling hobby. Everything from engines to airplanes to helicopters and equipment, neat selection to explore, as well as multiple interactive exhibits that are kid friendly. Members are free, adults 5 bucks and youth is cheaper. Cool place to check out!

While visiting any time during the Nationals is a good time to learn about Radio Control, Control Line and Outdoor Free Flight the best time is Radio Control Soaring.Now I ask a favor, tell your Federal and Local Reps to leave Model Airplanes out of the drone problem. Met Lee Berry of Merlin Missile Solutions at a local launch. Never had put foot on the Muncie AMA grounds before. A site to behold. To be a model rocketry enthusiast for this long and not stepped foot on these grounds, Ive done myself an injustice.... lol.

Fantastic museum for Radio Control Model Airplane enthusiasts. Free admission for AMA Members (not sure for others) but the staff is super friendly and the displays are great. Always enjoy spending an hour or two walking through and finding new treasures. Even if you are not an active RC flyer lots of really cool things to see and do. Highly recommend if you happen to be nearby.

There is a lot of models to view and a great hands on section for learning about flight.The store has some great clothes too.

A must visit spot for any model aviation fan. There are fantastic displays of every type of model aircraft, young and old. Many interactive displays add to the fun and there is a nice gift shop with many items to choose from.

Hey, I fly radio controlled airplanes and since I was in Indy, I had to make the trek to Muncie to take in the museum. If youre into this hobby, youll be amazed with all the collector items they have on hand and they have done a really nice job of organizing it and displaying it. Its probably a 2-3 hour look through...I think youll enjoy it.

How could you not love the experience of the AMA. you can wake up AT the airfield, fly on gorgeous, well maintained grounds. This is one of my favorite trips every year.

This place was absolutely incredible! So glad I got the chance to see it! Definitely will be back!

If you have a love of model airplanes, this is the place to go. If you are just getting started or have a lifetime love, there is something here for you.

Great museum of model aviation history. Staff is polite and courteous...give yourself a couple of hours if you are mildly curious and half a day if you are a true model airplane enthusiast.

Very interesting. Much nicer than when it was in Reston. And even some hands on activities and flight simulators . On 1100 acres!

Took my 3yo there and had a great time. Its pretty small but in that small space contains a ton of interesting history and cool models from RCs history.

This is a great place if you like air planes and models.

Free entry for AMA members and a very robust flight simulator. For everyone else it has a sweet little central space with two chairs from which you can see the history and future of areonautics.

Not every interactive display was operational, and the simulator was difficult to learn (still not sure how to pilot it) but it was so fun to watch my favorite kiddos be creative and curious!
