Very cool historic building!
Great location to visit, very Historical site. This church was in the forefront of a divided nation. The congregation spilt up as did the nation did during that extremely difficult time in our history. The church then served as a hospital, treated both Confederate and union soldiers. Many of those that died in that areas battles are buried at the cemetery from both sides. This is a scared place and very well maintained Cemetery site. Worth a stop just be reminded that our nation is much better when we work together to settle our difference s than to fight over them. Hopefully our past History will NOT be repeated but only time will tell that story.
Very well maintained Confederate section
Historical site.It was a hospital during a Civil War battle nearby.
Very interesting and creepy at times.
Like to try this one after midnight.
A Presbyterian congregation 1832. Dissolved after the Civil War as divided loyalties divided the church. Shuttered in 1871 with furnishings left intact.
Interesting history.
