Its never over crowded. Side street parking. A branch of it connects to the play field of an elementary school and is part of the Lenape trail. It is within walking distance of Applegates ice cream so you can treat yourself after a walk. There are benches around. There is no picnic area, when covid precautions are done you can picnic on your own blanket. There is a trash can and recycling bin. There is a human and pet water fountain, unfortunately it is turned off because of covid concerns. The people maintaininf it did a lovely job updating it and keeping it nice. There is Brook that goes to a pond with a fountain. I have seen a turtle and crane there but a family of ducks seem to call it home. There are sunny spots and shady spots, the perfect little park to relax in. There is no childrens playground, but plenty of room for tag and paved walkway used for bikes and skooters.

Astonishing! A hidden gem with hills, a little valley, and a stream and pond full of a zillion minnows, right here in Montclair.

Yantacaw Brook Park is a hidden gem within Montclair. This park brings very positive calm vibes and can bring down any stress levels as you walk through this park. With a style that portrays montclair as an elegant upscale community that takes pride in their parks and recreation. The area displays a beautiful waterfall surrounding a small pond with a creek running through. Stop by in the mid day to see some ducks, and come have a picnic in this beautiful nook in Montclair.

Awesome spot for a stroll on a sunny day. And everyone few winters the pond freezes and is perfect for ice skating.

Montclairs hidden gem. Not a big park but so beautiful!

Good, recently repaved paths circle the main pond, with plenty of green space and areas to sit. There is a water fountain, which also has a sub fountain for dogs.Try to avoid at the height of geese activity, as they tend to congregate and nest here.This park tends to be well upkept thanks to the Friends of Yantacaw Brook Park.
