I really love this park. What I like is that there is always a police patroling the lot. Lots of shade, Play ground is in great condition lots of field space. The splash pad is also in great condition. Just make sure when you bring the kids to the splash pad they are wearing proper swimming trunks and bathing suits because they inspect the kids before they go in. Other than that its a great place to bring the kids to let loose.

A nice urban style park. While not much to look at or very pastoral, it does have about every faculty you can hope for in a park. The most unique highlights are a Spring and Summer splash pad and a full skate park. But it also has an above average playground, tennis, basketball and lots of lawn. A good park.

I love this little park, I usually take my baby very often and enjoy it to the fullest.

Its not much, not big. Im sure it would be great for kids in the summer in non COVID times, but wasnt what I was looking for, trees, share, etc.

Hot summer day and youre in or near Montclair with a little one ... Or small tribe of kids, stop by this cool down spot which is gated in and supervised for the safety of kids. I brought 2 of my nephew here to cool their jets and they loved it. Cotton shirts are not permitted in the small water park area, so be sure all clothing and/or suits worn have no cotton.

Its really clean. But close to the skate place a couples of teenagers were drinking beer in cans . Some teennagers were at the babies park and others close to the skate place

Just love it. Feel secure at all times. With the people at the gate door keeping track of who comes in and outNo kids without a parents watch.

Its great for children and toddlers. During the summer the water park is open and the kids have lots of fun.

This is a nice and large park area. It is located in a nice community with great surroundings.The post office is across the street. The city building, youth and senior center is right next to it. There is also a public library next to it. In the park there is a skate park, a basketball court, two tennis courts, two playgrounds, a splash pad, nice open grassy areas with a few public benches, trash cans scattered around, a big shark for kids to climb on, a small pavilion, bathrooms, a side walk that wraps around the areas, dog friendly, a large parking lot, a Pokémon Go Pokéstop, a couple shady trees, tent and BBQ friendly, and lots of summer activities.

Great place to take the kids and kill some time after school. The playgrounds are big enough for the kids, but there is not much selection of seating area. The water park is also open during summer.

This park is great, if you have kids that, like to play in the water,or ride a skateboard, lots of green grass, a basketball court and tennis courts.

This has become one of our favorite places to go and cool down this summer. The park is pretty clean.. so I dont mind bringing my kids here 2 or 3 times a week for an hour or 2. A lot of the times we would just grab some lunch and go down there for a picnic and a bit of play time.

Nice park plenty to do for the kids and adults. Even better when they have the water park open, they always say it needs repair. Those are the same guys you see at restaurants enjoying their 2hr lunch

I like this place just to walk around everyday, but they clean the playground only once a week .best time to go with the kids, on the day they clean it!

The water feature is extremely fun but make sure to be prepared with towels. And you dont want to wear your shoes into there. The shark is the most iconic feature of the park and thus most locals call it shark park (little factoid, we actually petitioned to keep the shark after it was renovated)

As far as parks go Id say its very clean. Not a lot of sketchy people sitting around with beers or drugs in their hands. Also the equipment is intact and no wood chips!!!! Water park is nice too.

My kids love the water park.

The park is nice with a splash pad for kids. The girls working for the city were not nice. They told a family that they could not barbeque in the park. And told my son he could not were his shirt in the splash pad. Although other clearly had shirts on.

This park is always nicely kept. The Splash Pad, which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 12pm-6pm, Monday-Sunday, is the perfect place to go on a hot summer day. And its free! We usually stop at Costco and get a pizza to eat while there. Not a lot of shade, so bring something to sit under. Also, the bathrooms are subpar. We bring a bathroom bag with toilet paper, soap, and wet wipes. The doors dont even have locks on them. As long as you come prepared youll have fun here.

Pretty nice park, like 6 trees that give good shade, couple of benches and the playground is clean. The only thing is that the splash pad is closed and its July theres a sign inside that says closed for repairs hopefully they fix it soon.

First time at the park today and it was filthy. All the trash cans were full and overflowing. There was trash all over the playground. Looked like no one cleaned the park from the past weekend. Why are people such pigs!!! Teach you kids to clean after themselves. There was food all over the palyground. Yuck!!

There were a group of people playing VERY LOUD INAPPROPRIATE MUSIC and I had my grandchildren there. Also, parents werent paying attention to their children.

Its a waterpark too, finally found one in the area. There are no swings. There is security and makes u feel safe. The water area should have some shade, but it has none whatsoever.

Its a very beautiful park with a gym and outdoor courts for Basketball, also has a skate park for skateboards bikes etc.

My daughter n nephews grew up playing here....ir has always been a safe place for kids. Family atmosphere.
