Still a good place to think
Very cool place to visit and read up on a lot of historical plaques within the area of historic Monroe. I was shocked to find out what such role Monroe had throughout our history and how historic the city itself is to this day, preserving much of its original structures. I enjoyed walking down the riverwalk and walking throughout the city. Many varieties of restaurants and businesses to shop, eat, and hang out guaranteed for a good time.
So nice an calm
Beautiful place I mean could use more trees or bushes or seats and Christmas decorations are still up but great place to relax
An nice square in the center of town. There is a nice fountain also fairly large covered pagoda type building. The historic Dorsch library is here. Great dining and bars nearby.
Its pretty but across from the police n court house
I always enjoy this pavilion. Beautiful and right in the middle of Monroe. Nice small place to relax!
Nice place to stop and rest if your out walking around.
The one and only. Great place to meet up.
An exciting part of downtown Monroe Michigan
Its a wonderful place to visit and relax.
Went to the tree lighting ceremony. For the most part it was nice. It had free hot chocolate, & a cookie, (they ran out of both), free visit with Santa & free horse & buggy ride & only 1 food truck. The line for Santa was 1/2 hour. The line for buggy ride 2 hours. Thats how long we waited before they closed it down, We only had about 15 mins left to wait b4 they closed it down. It was small but ok.
Not as much history dispalyed as i would like.
The holiday season usually makes this little area nice.
Perfect downtown location to visit, highly recommended.
