The Coca-Cola presentation was interesting but not the highlight. The highlight was the home and grounds. Our tour guide, Fran was perfectly charming. She knows her stuff and interjects fun and facts. Go for the beautiful home and gardens. Stay for the Bible museum.

What you see here is what you get. It’s a pretty beautiful place. My wife made me feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman taking me through the coke museum. She’s big into gardening and growing stuff and therefore I’m trying to learn more so it was cool for me.. talking about my wife.. not Julia Roberts.

Enjoyed the Coke tour information. Loads of Coke memorabilia to look at and interesting things to learn. The house was beautiful and you get a glimpse into the life of a wealthy heiress of an age gone by. The Bible museum is interesting and they also have various art installations throughout the year. We saw the one on Noah and it was neat to see different artists representations from many cultures and styles. The gardens were beautiful even in the winter when not much was flowering. The hothouse had some interesting tropical plants. We enjoyed our Coke in the garden next to one of the fountains. Very relaxing and peaceful.

Ive lived here for a long time and never taken the time to visit this museum. It is worth your time to visit. Start with the Coca Cola museum and learn about the first bottled Coke ever. The Bible museum itself could take hours. See some of the first printed bibles ever made. The Biedenharn home tour is a treat. See how the wealthy lived in the 1920s. Finally the gardens and conservatory are beautiful no mater what time of year you visit.

Always a pleasure to come here. So much stuff to look at, the staff is nice, and the gardens are beautiful! The fountain is a key place in town for some fantastic pictures, whether for a wedding, prom, birthday, etc. The events held here during the holidays can get a little crazy and unorganized (not their fault-just a lot of people!), but the decorations are BEAUTIFUL and its always a fun visit!

Was a great stop we unexpectedly made. The tour of the house was beautiful and filled with great history. Our guide was a sweet old lady who made sure to get our children involved. The young soda jerk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The gardens were nice, nothing to fancy, but worth the walk. The nickel cokes at the end were quite refreshing. Worth the stop if your looking for something to do for an hour or so.

A few weeks ago we were on a small little vacation and stayed at Poverty Point in Delhi. We took a little day trip out to Monroe on one of our days and had a great time visiting this museum. Everything was so beautiful. What a marvelous piece of history. I never would have believed something like this was near here. We definitely recommend it. We hope to come back in the future.

The Coke tour was slightly interesting (very short!) but the women running the home tour are the most snotty and upitty women Ive ever met. My father is handicapped and they treated us very poorly and acted like he was a complete invalid when he isnt. This place is NOT handicapped accessible by standard terms. One of the Coke tour women was really nice and helped us figure out how to get around the outside of the building...but the rest were incredibly rude and made us feel very unwelcome. Shame that people act that way.

Ive been to the Biedenharn Gardens three times (twice on a class field trip, and once with my daughters). I have thoroughly enjoyed all three trips, and am dying to take my mom, as I know that she would really love the bible museum and gardens. I do understand what a previous poster meant by the crass demeanor from one of the ladies. However, overall, everyone was so friendly and pleasant. I wouldnt dare let the attitude of one or two people ruin my outlook on the overall outing.

What a horrible lasting impression!Five of us arrived for pictures to greet a polite woman named Becky at the gardens gate. We had never been and did not know where to start. We were told to go down the block to pay for admission inside the museum and we would need to accommodate a scheduled photography session.Well.. we get inside the museum, excited and was greeted by a crass woman whose name I did not catch. She not only was unnecessarily aggressive about making a point of the customers of the museum but had the audacity to go so far as to tell us that we should just go ahead and take the tour while we were there since we paid for it.In the interest of making an honest opinion of the place, heres the gist:The gardens are marvelously beautiful and none of us will ever return there again because of that womans attitude towards us. God bless Becky for making our experience past that introduction bearable. It is truly unfortunate that a place so well kept is fronted by one of the rudest attitudes I have encountered at an establishment.
