Beautiful hike highly recommended, easy and majestic. I wish it had a map for the paths or perhaps some directions aids when you get multiple paths. All the park was clean and people applied social distancing. One part of the path was completely flooded and made me go back. Its a must hike!

Nice park and trail by the river. Like all trails, it can get a little muddy after it rains. Most of the trail I saw was an easy flat walk.

Its somewhat big. Lots of trees and some picnic tables up in the parking lot by the city entrance. Use to be full of homeless people .. Most are or were (if still there) are kind people down on their luck or just not motivated or see little reason to join the rat race. Safe park. There are a couple fishing spot . best if you have a boat. Have fun.

Not as bad as some of the reviews say. There are sketch areas that look sketch from far away. Just dont go in those areas. There is plenty of room to explore elsewhere. Lots of water access. The trail is wide enough to accommodate traffic both ways with no one squeezing. It is a Sunday in July and I saw about 12 people. All of them had AT LEAST one dog.

I love this park. Well maintained and clean, nice trails, easy access to the river, and theres an abandoned train track and bridge that goes through the forest! I got some very unique photos here and spent a good 2+ hours just wandering the trails with my best friend, and we still only saw a small portion of what this park has to offer. I am looking forward to visiting again.

Beautiful place, the road to get to this spot could definitely use some work, huge holes. One can walk across the river without being swept away from the current (unless you go where it’s the strongest). There’s also options to float down the river, I’ve done it on multiple occasions. If you’re planning on swimming, make sure it’s at least 80 degrees and you’ll be fine :) There’s a lot of different spots one can be at if you just walk along the trail that’s next to the river. Very dog friendly, there’s shallow and deeper areas.

Packed full of methheads that live in their cars. Although you can walk the trail and access the water. The picnic areas are constantly occupied by the same vehicles and people who come stake out their place to sleep while the park is open. Its a real shame. I would not suggest women come out there alone. Even in broad daylight.. lots of shady characters wandering around and they will just pop out of the brush at random places throughout the trail.

This place is awesome. The trails are well-maintained and the views of the river are stunning. The water looks so clear I actually drank from it. Good idea? Only time will tell. Theres nice areas to park in theres plenty of shade theres grassy areas with lots of sun. If I could give this place 10 Stars instead of 5 I would. The other people I encountered were friendly and were able to control their dogs. The picnic area is really nice also. Theres one down in the trail area at one of the trailheads and theres a covered picnic area at the South End of the park.

Love coming to this place with my dog! great for him and good for playing Wizards Unite! :D I feel pretty safe here during the day, but would not recommend hanging out during afterhours (even tho its supposed to be closed anyway) there can be some homeless down there and occasional small-town riff raff. But overall great spot in town for a walk and a picnic!
