Ive always enjoyed this theater, but things have changed since COVID. Just be aware that there are no free refills on popcorn. You must pay for a new bucket. Also, they now leave lights on in the theater throughout the entire movie. It was not ideal and this was never the case before, as we have been here many times. We were told that the lights have always stayed that bright....NOT true at all.

Very nice employees. Theater was very clean. Wasnt crowded the Friday night that we went. We were very happy that we tried it because its close to our house. It will be our first the Terrie choice from now on!!

I love coming here. it a great place. they dont have IMAX which sucks and they really dont do 3D which is ok. the bathrooms are always clean however the theaters are Usually dirty. they definitely need to clean between each showing. other then that this theater does everything else right. really No Complains. always had a good time here.

A cinephile dream location - historical/seasoned/authentic/vintage exterior, bowling alley carpet floors, throwback 70s-90s arcade, the shinning restroom decorations. Worth at least one movie viewing.NO SPOILERS -- This location has a very famous plaque on the wall. (DO NOT LOOK AT PICTURES IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS)I travel from Gulfport, MS. to see this one.Movie watched: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 10/10 STARS!Pros: Empty theater. No reserved seating. 90 degree angled side chairs for complete viewing experience. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff at concession.Cons: Empty theaters. Vintage metal cushion seats. Audio is low and distorted - several subwoofers need repair or replacement. 3D was off (not sure if it was focus or the equipment). Rude staff at Box Office (tossing tickets and cards and just not very friendly)(Im writing this as Im getting sleepy. I will more than likely edit and add new information at a later date.)

This one of my go-to theaters in the area. It is easy to get to because its right off the interstate about 20 minutes from the house. Plenty of parking. We ordered tickets online and got reserved seating. The staff was very helpful and polite. No waiting in line. We went to see The Rise of Skywalker. Lots of action and closure.

One of the biggest theaters I have ever walked in to and theyre seating is really good for watching a movie. The only problem we experienced was music bleeding through from another theater. It seemed to die down as our movie played, but the sound bleed-through was very noticeable. Really cool building, though. Highly recommend this place.

I love to see movies here, with affordable tickets, popcorn, candy and drinks. Friendly employes that are glad to help you.

27 minutes of Advertisement !!!NO KIDDING ! 27 min of advertisement after 15:30 (start schedule) before movie starting. x(Movie shall start at 15:30 . we stay sit listening advertisements for 27 min!!! Finally at 15:57 the movie started.also,I could listen the sound of movie next to us.Isolation not working :(

Its been a few years since my last visit to Regal Mobile (Hollywood). I will say that Ive noticed a lot of changes.Pros: no large crowds, no long lines.Cons: Upgrade and improvements needed. We could hear sounds from the movie next door in our theater. Overall, it was a fun day at the movies.

Was clean, quiet and affordable. Less than $20 for ticket a kid pack of treats. No rowdy teens and security was provided.

Very disappointed! Im actually going to try to get a refund. The lightning in the theater never dimmed much and it was way to bright for me. I ask an associate about it and he said there was nothing they could do. They were using a new type of LED bulb that couldnt be dimmed as much. I ask him if others were complaining and he said most definitely.

Nice fast and efficient service but pricey kids over $8 and adults over $12 with small seats!!!! arms dont move or recline. We could hear movie next door too...

We went to this theater for a 7:05 showing of 1917, and had a VERY disappointing experience. We were charged full adult price for our 14 yr old, as “student” pricing only applies to college students (We paid $38 with tax for two adults and one 14 year old).Our popcorn was stale, and we were told they would be making no more, just after 7pm after charging us $9 for a large.Some of the seats in the theater were broken, they were all old, and nearly all squeaked. After the movie started, I noticed the lights were still pretty bright in the theater. Upon inquiring, I was told that they had recently switched to LED lights in the theater and they could not be dimmed further.Needless to say, we will not be spending another $55 to be so sorely disappointed. Do better, Hollywood.

At one point everyone knew this was the getto movie theater. Now its pretty ok. With that area being built up the Regal has improved. Hopefully they will continue to upgrade and become an even better place to watch movies.

I always love going to this theater! Theres something about the atmosphere of seeing a movie at the theater that you dont get at home. The popcorn with extra butter is AWESOME! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Good job on the place being clean too. There are specials on movies during the week and on Sundays.

Very professional staff. Easy ticketing. Concession Stand products are high quality. The individual theaters have easy access and are clean. Great screening and very high quality sound. The bathrooms are exquisite. I rank this theater number one in Mobile.

It was bright and clean. Very friendly concession stand workers. I watched Judy with the AARP Movies for Grown-ups series. It was very entertaining!

Couldn’t figure out how to work the projector. Movie was out of focus the entire length. Seats are old and squeaky as hell. Waste of money and time. Watched Star Wars and that is one movie you have to see clearly.... to bad it wasn’t. They will give me passes but said I have to be there with in two days or I don’t get them. Weird but oh well.

Needs an update. Did not open till 10mins before showtime. Walked into theater 14 and totally dark couldnt see my hand in front of my face. Had to use cell flashlight to move about. Audio working but nothing on screen. 10 mins after showtime a employee came in said projector was broken. We went to theater 16 to watch movie

The employees are fabulous and they fixed my husbands popcorn exactly the way he likes it! We had a very relaxing evening.

A convenient location, but lines are long when they sell tickets at the snack bar, some movies start very late, and sometimes they forget to turn the lights down when the movie starts.

Sitting in theater no refills made to wait then told sorry out again will make you another first bucket we tossed was old and then told no refund you ate it all, hell no it was nasty $49 for one adult 2 kids smells like mold and RUDE staff Cashier named Dora first time pleasant second time told us to step aside while she waited on someone else. It has the movies I want to see but lacks some of the better amenities of other theaters. This one is close to my house but I often drive to Daphne as its just a 15 min ride and theater amenities are far superior at AMC.

The movie theater is great. A little bit of slow service when we got there but it turned out fine.

A decent theater with fair ticket prices. However, food prices belong in Madison Square Garden. Movie started late and staff refused to take responsibility or even apologize.

Some of the seats were broken down and the movie seemed super dark like the bulb might have been going out and then started to flicker. The popcorn was fresh and the staff was friendly.

Usually it is a great experience but this time, the line too long bc of cut back, no one was in ticket booth. The concession stand was where the tickets and food purchase. It would not have been so bad if they had more than one worker. Poor baby had to do it all. The wait was ugh bc I missed a lot of my show.

Pretty old fashioned design but fast service

The movie was great but the theater itself needs renovation. The seats are old and squeaky. I know its about making money to some companies most but them seats are to small to the point you and a stranger are touching knees... Make the full experience something to talk about and not just the movie.

Everything was grate except for the sound being a tad to loud. There used to not be surround sound, speakers were on front & in back of the room; I would sit in the middle of the room & the sound was perfect. But now even sitting in the middle of the room is to loud.

TURN UP THE VOLUME!!!!Watched a movie here on Sunday, and the volume was down too low. Couldnt hardly hear. When you go to a theater, you want the volume high, you want to enjoy the movie, and get the full experience of seeing a film in theaters. You turn the volume down when you want to focus on something else. And thats just what happens. You then focus on all the people talking, rattling their candy wrappers, coughing, moving around in their seats, I could even hear the movie next door over mine.I walk out front and told an employee the volume was down way too low, he got on the walkie talkie and told someone, I assume it was someone in charge. So I go back to the movie, and they never turned it up for us. It felt like such an insult, that they didnt give a dam* about their customers enough to check the volume at least. They need to take who ever was in charge that day, that made the decision to do nothing, and put them in the back moping floors.

We saw Ford vs Ferrari at the Matinee and it was a great experience

This theatre is quite old. It does not have the comfy seats but ticket prices are just as much as the nicer theatres.

It was alright. Seat & layout seems to be the same from the late 90s when I was a young adult. & Discount Tuesday really wasnt. We didnt get our $5 small combo as advertised on the website. Even used a reward card. Idk what happened with that. Overall it was alright.

Mold in the bathrooms, concessions dejectedly overpriced, staff is subpar, and I’ve had at least ten movies stop due to a computer issue. However, it deserves one star for being convenient to anyone who doesn’t want to go to that dreadful line of people at the theater in West Mobile.

I appreciate the dollar Tues and Weds prices at 10. My kids have been enjoying the movies this summer each week without the crazy prices that are being charged now at theatre.

I’d rather go to the AMC movie theater. They wouldn’t allow me and my cousins to purchase a ticket just because some of them didn’t have an id and the manager was being completely rude about it. Oh yeah, just to let you know I am considered as an adult if I’m over “18”.That’s why y’all not making any money turning people around just to see a “KIDS MOVIE!”

Ive been using this theater for over 20 years. Its in an awesome location off the interstate. Shopping and food walking distance.

It was fine but the prices for items are just ridiculous there are a lot of hard working families that couldnt buy popcorn and a drink

The seats are uncomfortable, and all of the concession stand prices are way too high. The service was extra slow today. it took one employee almost 10 minutes to serve a customer some popcorn and a drink.

The theater was clean and smelled good. I thought the movie The Favourite was full of nasty characters, language, and scenes and very little plot. This was my last R rated movie. But Regal is as nice as any theater in Mobile.

Went to the movie to see overcomer it was very good and I would go to see it again.

To be such a big city our theaters are terrible. Completely outdated.... sign halfway works... volume is either extremely loud (which is not a terrible thing) or there is a busted speaker making terrible static noises.... eh we can only hope for an Imax...

Clean, nice, very family oriented.

Went here a few times. It’s been pretty disappointing having to wait in line when they’re short on staff. The theatre feels out of touch compared to AMC. The staff wasn’t so friendly either.Probably will stick with AMC.

No! No! No! Is all I can say. The times on the internet do not match the actual show times. We got there and the explained how the times were messed up and giving wrong information on the internet. So instead of seeing what we came all that way to see. We had to choose something else that was showing. They did not accommodate us for the confusion in any way... I will not go here again.

The concession staff service is terrible. Long waits, eye rolls, incorrect orders, attitude. I am understanding of busy times and short staffing but the horrible attitudes and rude treatment is unacceptable. This theater needs an overhaul on seats and service.

Crazy high prices - just like every other movie theater. But this place is in desperate need of renovations. I did like how they kept it cool in the theater and it wasnt hot and sticky like other theaters usually are. A little renovation and a lowering of prices (unlikely) would bring a 5 star rating.

Everything ran smoothly. Tickets were purchased online so no standing in line. Only was in line for a few minutes for popcorn. Movie ran great.

Theres this popular sitcom where the TV executive decides to design a couch so his company can control the entire chain that is watching TV. Turns out the couches are so terrible he ends up selling them as advanced interrogation devices to the US government. The seating in this theater must be an early prototype for that Couch. All four people in my party squirmed and complained of feet going to sleep. Otherwise if you dont care about that the experience was fine

Hey Regal, just based on these reviews it looks like you need to update this place badly, hire more people and pay them more, you need staff training meetings at least once a month to address issues that arise frequently. It may also use a good cleaning. Visiting from out if state and I will not be spending my time or money here.

Today was my first time going to this particular theater, and I can confidently say I will never go here again.The people were friendly, but in my opinion, it was obviously understaffed. There was no one checking if you even had tickets before you enter the theater. But the worst part was the lights were on when the movie started. I had to find someone to tell them to turn the lights off in the theater, and even then nothing was done. My wife had to go to complain a second time, after which somebody finally came to turn the lights off. We both had to miss important scenes in the movie because of this, which ultimately ruined the whole experience.I can understand them being understaffed and forgetting to turn the lights off, but it shouldnt take two separate complaints to finally fix the issue. Im sure this isnt a common occurrence, but it was disappointing how the situation was handled. I wouldnt recommend going here.

Sort of a dead place, which can be nice. Their customer base has dimished over the years. They try to recoup their losses through higher ticker prices and tremendous prices on drinks and snacks. A family of four can expect to pay about 60.00 dollars or more for a movie, drinks and popcorn. Wait till it comes out on DVD and watch it in peace at home.

Visiting from Utah, I could easily hear the movie playing in the theater adjacent. Really negatively affected my $10 per-ticket movie watching experience with my 2 daughters.

Just moved to Mobile, Al and today we went to what the sign says is the Hollywood Theatre but listed as Regal Cinemas.The layout of the theatre is terrible. We watched John Wick - I am not sure what was playing next door but the sound of battles being fought reverberated throughout our theatre. This made -parts of our movie hard to hear. To pay $17 for 2 people in the middle of the day to watch a screen that doesnt even come close to the one I have at home is ridiculous. We are not going here again.

The theater is fine, been there a while, but the shopping center built around it is new -- a couple of years old now. Good parking, a lot of movies, rarely crowded, senior discount, and Dollar Tree very nearby for candy run.

Worst place to watch a movie. Best place to ruin your valuable time. Ive been there three times. They disappointed me every single time. Twice I went back home without watching movie.

Im in a jexi movie right now and being flooded with the movies sounds next to me. I want to hear this one I paid for not the one next if I did I would of bought that ticket.

This theater is greatly understaffed. They opened the ticket office 10 minutes after the first movie of the day started. Also, no one checked our tickets before we entered the theater. As far as the movie part goes, the sound quality was horrible during the movie. The speakers buzzed with static constantly, which was annoying during quiet scenes. Lastly, the seats are so old and rusty, they squeal loud enough for people in the parking lot to hear whenever you move.

Terrible experience, movie started 2 hrs later than posted, no one could tell us why, lied at the box office, told me the movie was delayed 30 minutes, took our money with a smile, once the movie did start it cut off toward the end then 15 minutes later started back up. Stay away from here, rude people, no management and poor overall experience.

I just wish theyd turn the brightness up or something.. the movies are always too dark and god forbid you have a scene thats really dark because you wont know what the heck is going on. And the sound could be louder (more bass). But other than those two gripes. Its a decent experience

Went there to watch Godzilla King of the Monsters with some family in Mobile, Alabama and the movie itself was 10/10, and the popcorn and drinks there were pretty good to, overall, five total stars.
