Enjoyed another great production at the Skylight Music Theatre. This time it was Newsies! From the friendly and helpful lobby staff to the top notch performers, this was a great show. If you cant make it to this particular show, be sure to check out the Skylight when you get a chance. The Theatre is beautiful and we have never been disappointed with a performance at this venue.

Lunch and show was very nice! My first time. Never had shrimp and grits before, this dish was delicious. Thank you, for calming my worries of it not being good. I will definitely look for other shows to return again. Kudos to all the staff!!!! everyone was cordial and helpful.

Easily the most underrated theater in milwaukee. Old school charm with the modern touches.

Loved the show Newsies. Everyone is so nice that works there. Smaller theatre but that also makes the price reasonable to see a Broadway caliber show right here in Milwaukee. Musicals galore. Celebrating 60 years.

Very impressive. Seems worth the money. Went on a business trip here. Paid for by my business. (Yay). And I can honestly say it is a beautiful building. Helpful staff. The production is very good. I didnt expect somewhere in Milwaukee to have a good theatrical prescense. I am seeing Annie and it is delightful! Sound is good and lighting/stages are convincing. Overall so pleased!! Will be coming back many times.

Enjoyed watching Oklahoma. What I like best about the Skylight is the intimate feel of the place. Didnt realize they had a restaurant and bar upstairs for pre show meal. It was packed and those dining seemed to enjoy it.

Attended a presentation of Newsies here. An attractive intimate venue. Performance was exceptional. Outstanding local talent.

Their head of wardrobe is probably the best in the business. Really top-notch work.

Seating is old and tight, but the caliber of entertaining theatre is superb. Attend Newsies this holiday season for an artful treatment of the newsboy strike at the turn of last century.

A local gem! The theater is beautiful, quaint and in the hopping Third Ward neighborhood with lots of restaurant options nearby. Shows are great, pulling both local and national talent. Beware that they occasionally do one super artsy show, which I never enjoy as much as a more traditional show. I just bought my season tickets for next year and am looking forward to another great season.

The Cabot theatre is the most intimate, beautiful theater in Milwaukee, and Skylight puts on amazing musicals!

I have been a patron since 1993 and have always enjoyed the shows, especially since they moved to the Broadway Theater. We were just here to watch Hairspray and it is fantastic! Well worth the time and effort to call the box office and see if any tickets available if new in town. Good way to have some light hearted fun or other specials. Very professional acting company and directors

I enjoyed a movie here for the Milw film festival.

We love Skylight and are annual members! From the early 2000s until now, we have always enjoyed the shows. Major productions (and smaller) where you can still (afford to) sit front row. Highly recommend!

Great theater. Small house with every seat a good one. Interestingly designed and decorated. See it if you have the opportunity.

Absolutely love the place!!! The theater is small, but it makes it so cozy. Always a good choice of plays, at least so far the ones I attended. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful venue & solid performances.

Small intimate venue with good sightlines. They employ top notch professional actors and singers -- pretty much of the quality a national touring company would have. Having seen a couple of dozen shows, I could quarrel with a choice or two here and there (poor casting of Maria in Sound of Music, cast and stage too small for Carmen, lack of top notch vocal talent in Hair), but they get it right the vast majority of the time, and you virtually always come away happy with what you have seen.

Great theater with caring staff, awesome plays, and all around just a wonderful atmosphere!

Great small theater experience. Saw Sweeney Todd here and the performance was great.Drinks up stairs during intermission seemed a bit pricey and the service was challenged, but the main reason you come here is for the show so no big deal.
