Is a good place for walking

Great views of San Francisco as you walk on the hilly trails. Close to SF so it’s very accessible for a half day trip.

Great trail. Got lost. Little kids guided us back to my car.Alltrails lies.

Straightest shot to the top of Mt. Tam. You will be rewarded for your efforts (and those efforts will be robust!) many times on your journey up. Even part of the way up makes for good hiking.

Wonderful trail to hike, not a lot of people, though parking can be scarce. There are a lot of very nice and expensive homes nearby the trail, which add to create a great hike.

Beautiful trails from here, great for all levels.

Great exercise with views

Hiking trail is the old railroad tracks that took tourists to top of Mt. Tam. When you get to the top you have a beautiful view of the city. Trail is a gradual uphill then downhill all the way home.

Shortest way to the top if you can handle the steep grade
