A nice view spot which is less crowded than other batteries in the Marin Headlands. There were a lot of open rooms and doors at this battery compared to most which in my opinion made the pit stop on the way down to Kirby Cove even better.

Pretty cool spot and amazing views --more interesting than from the San Fran side. Grabbed a bus from downtown to Headlands Center and walked the coastline to the battery. Very fun walk and easy walk.

Excellent place to see the golden gate as its not crowded at all and fairly close from the parking line. At the beginning could be a little difficult to reach it as you need to descend through a not paved way but if you are somehow adventurous definitely its a better place to get a great view of the golden gate without more people. The place could seem a little dangerous at the beginning as it has some graffiti and looks like an abandoned place but in my experience it was safe enough around noon

If you are into old spooky abandoned building this would be a good place to stop and check out. Former fortifications that were meant to guard the entrance to the Bay. They now serve as a place to explore and find unique views of the Golden Gate and Pacific Ocean.

Really cool spot and gorgeous view but no bathrooms anywhere in the area so make sure your wife /gf goes ahead of time!
