A very unique bridge. It was an enjoyable visit. It was quite interesting to see the silt line constantly moving where the two bodies of water came together. It was easily accessible and very beautiful scenery. In the middle where all three bridges intersect, there are benches where you can sit and relax. Definitely a place to see since it is the only one in the U.S.
I mean this is a really nice bridge that connects three banks of one park across a river. The bridge is very nice and still feels like a recent construction. There are some nice benches in the middle. The only complaint that I have was how slippery the bridge was in the places where it had frosted over. I am sure on a warm day this will go away quickly but not on the typical fall day as it was when I visited.
Fun place to visit. There are parks on a couple of sides of the structure. On the north side, where the farmers market used to be, there is plenty of parking and it is walking distance from part of downtown where there is dining available. We visited in August 2020. There was dining set up on the streets that is walking distance from The Tridge.
The tridge. What can I say about this spot in Midland. Its beautiful. The city has done a great job with the landscaping, flowers and all that. Very peaceful next to the rivers. The rail trail starts here. Lots of events in the warm months. Always a lot of people here on nice days. Im not real happy about that part but it must mean a lot of people enjoy the area as well I guess. If your visiting town check it out.
A grand bridge with an equally grand park. Dog facilities, trails, courts, this is a great outdoor locale.
Beautiful view of the three bridges and the rivers joining, walking distance as well from Chippewa nature trails
A truly unique structure offering access to several different recreational areas including ball fields, play grounds, a skate park, a farmers market, and the Pere Marquette Rail Trail. We picked up lunch at a downtown Midland restaurant and headed to the area to find a picnic table. We enjoyed a walk over all three legs of The Tridge after our meal. We are looking forward to returning with the kids.
Really cool structure lots of trails to walk or ride a bike just be courteous to the pedestrians
Love the dog park! They have a section for big or smaller dogs.
Big area lots to do and trails. Dog park and skate park next to this bridge that goes 3 ways
Beautiful placeLived in Midland my entire life and one on the best environments to encounter
It was absolutely beautiful Very clean and well kept. Lots of people out walking and eating, playing frisbee, but its so spacious it wasnt crowded.
A fun stop in Midland, Michigan. The Tridge is a three way bridge that crosses the river and lets you have access to three distinct areas of Midland: the downtown core passing right by The H Hotel, the softball fields and the trails though the park. There is a playground for children with a small splash pad.
Its really cool to see the 3 bridges together
Very unique Nice place to take a walk
Beautifully constructed Tridge and a nice walk. Worth seeing especially with the farm market nearby.
Beautiful besides some trash here and there. People pick up your trash!
Very peaceful. Nice little spray park too.
Very beautiful area, i would love to visit it again.
Very nice and clean park, has a kayak launch. Good for walking, biking, or just relaxing. Has a rack with tools to service your bicycle and an air pump if needed
Nice place to take a stroll and view the downtown scenery. Connects up with and to various biking trails and paths. Also located near the skatepark.
Its a cool bridge with some trails
Great place to walk and get outdoors. Theres a kayak launch and parks all nearby. Also great to play Pokemon Go!
Awesome cool fidget compared to last 2 years
It’s always a pleasure to head downtown. After the recent floods I was worried that there would be a lot of damage, but I was surprised! It was cleaned up and made ready to go, the city maintains it very well.
Great park and picnic area!
Best place ever!
Interesting to see, three bridges meeting in the middle. We walked out over where the two rivers met. To be honest, it was a cold and windy day, so we didnt stay out there long.
This is a very interesting foot bridge that splits where 2 rivers meet. Very unique! So glad we stopped here. On a day where the weather is a bit more cooperative it would have been a great photo op.
Very pretty wish they had more shady areas
It is very beautiful there.
Located in the middle of a beautifully maintained park, we always love to visit the Tridge. Landscaping is gorgeous throughout and there is a great big playground, skate park and dog park nearby.
Nice place to walk around and it has kayak launches!
Always cool coming here
We’ve driven by The Tridge so many times on the way from here to there (we live in the thumb) but have never actually stopped until today. We are really glad we did! What a fantastic place! For those that don’t understand what “The Tridge” is - technically it is 3 brides that come together into one. It’s beautiful. I read that they recently did a reno on it - and it is well worth it! All I can say is, WOW! It looks fantastic! Beautifully done. But The Tridge is so much more than just the three bridges. It’s the beautiful parks that surround it, it’s the rivers, and it’s the people. Midland is full of some very friendly, outgoing, authentic folks. They are kind and down to earth. They stop to say hello and interact with you. They smile and laugh and are just out enjoying the day, and they don’t mind sharing it with you. I enjoy this about Midland. So today, we walked along The Tridge where families were out enjoying a beautiful summer day. They were out riding bikes and scooters. People were running and walking. People stopped to chat and interact. When our young son was afraid his dog would leap from The Tridge, a woman stopped to talk to him, to reassure him that she wouldn’t, that it was impossible for her to. She didn’t have to, but she took the time out of her day to. Thank you again, wherever you are. There is a place in the park where kayakers and canoers can put in to paddle on the Tittabawassee and Chippewa Rivers, or it looks like you can even rent them. There were people lounging in hammocks in the shade of the trees. There is a Farmers Market, not open while we were there. And it looked as though there may have been a splash pad, but I’m not positive on that one. All in all, The Tridge is a great place to spend any day! Run, relax, read a book, paddle the river, take a walk, go for a bike ride, go fishing, meet a friend, make a new one, whatever your pleasure, just go do it!
One of the first places I visited when I moved here a year ago, and one of the most visited places since. Its calming, open to exploration, and absolutely stunning first thing in the morning. Its my favorite place to show people that havent been here before.
Nice place to visit. Looks like there are trails that head out from this location. Ill need to come back when I have more time to check out out.
Unique and fun to see.
Cool bridge, a must see in Midland!
Great Parks in all directions
Needs more light at night
3 way bridge downtown really cool
Such a beautiful part! Very nicely landscaped and beautiful flowers. Playground was outstanding. Only complaint is there is not a real bathroom there at least in the area we were.
Always nice to Walk and see updates
Great place to walk about and meet up with family and friends
Great park to enjoy sunshine
Stopped here briefly because my hubby loves bridges and we were very impressed. Very unique and pretty. The Park seems nice but I was too tired to walk around. Right near downtown Midland!
The tridge offers so many things. Exercise playground the farmers market the spray part. Theres water and trees
Beautiful view
You can always see a bridge, but how often do you see a Tridge? Nice at night
Best place to go and relax in Midland.
I have always enjoyed the tridge. It is now new and improved. Great place for a walk over lunch, or if you just want to get some fresh air. River days is also a great time.
Unique place and great place to fish when they want to bite
I love walking around the tridge
Nice pàrk..unique walk bridge.
Nice place to relax for picture
9-28-19. Beautiful bridge.
Beautiful trails and bridges.
Very interesting design
Wow! Amazing! Ive worked on and been on a lot of different bridges, but a tridge? A bridge with a choice.
Great riding!
Magical place to go for a walk, bike, skateboard, or anything else self propelled is perfect. The outdoor scenery is breathtaking for any photographs one might feel moved to capture the moment. Right by Main street of Midland where great opportunities for unique experiences await!
What can I say about a three leg bridge? The bridge is very unique and you can sit in the center of it after walking down each side. There are park areas off each of the legs for you to play and have fun.The parking is free and they have a doggie water fountain in the vicinity of the parking lot so your dog can drink. You can do a 360 degree photo and have someone pose at each of the bridge openings in one continuous shot.... just for fun.
Unique three legged bridge spanning the confluence of two rivers with park like areas on each legs. Great place for a walk with activities for all ages.
I would like to thank The Tridge and its wonderful caretakers for taking such beautiful care of such a unique structure. I would like to throw myself off of it when I’ve decided my time has come to rid this world of my dreary existence. Xoxo.
Calm and picturesque
Went to see the spring flood waters come in.
Beautiful place to go and see! The surrounding area has so much to do and see. Its fabulous a great place to take the family.
Great place to go for a walk. Very peaceful. They have bands down there in the summer.
Its really just a pedestrian bridge, but its kinda a cool spot to sit over the confluence of the rivers. The parks on the three banks are nice places to walk or run. Worth a visit, and a nice feature for Midland to have.
The Tridge is a beautiful place to walk, ride your bike, or skate. There are paved trails in 3 directions on which to go exploring. There is also a farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings Spring, Summer and Fall. And there are outdoor concerts on Thursday evenings during the Summer. The tridge is surrounded by fun spots, a splash park and downtown Midland are located on one side, and on the opposite side you will find a skate park, a dog park and a playground. The rail trail runs right through the area.
I love it
Excellent place for a bicycle ride. Well maintained and very smooth surface. Really enjoy going here.
Well kept and quirky. Fun reason to visit Midland. Great parks and local businesses
Love our Tridge
A pretty cool place if you want to see some American ingenuity! They also have a nice little splash pad for the kids and a great place for a picnic.
Beautiful park
Really liked it. Looking forward to coming back in the Spring
Great place to visit. Ive been going to Midland for work for about a year and just visited here a few weeks ago. What the heck was I waiting for. There are lots of trails to explore from here. Great place to head to to walk off some calories after lunch or dinner in Downtown Midland!
Great place for family
Awesome place to walk or sit and enjoy the nice weather! Great for dogs and families. Really beautiful and well kept.
Looking for a different place to go while in the boring Midland Michigan this is a great place to go. This different tri-bridge is fun to go too with a farmers market at one end, trails on another, and a park and and skate park at the other. With statues every where and other fun activities in the summer you wont regret it
Great views. Very peaceful
Nice place for pictures, the kids can play and adults can relax
Beautiful bridge with a great park, dog park, playground and skate park. Also a great bike/walking trail. Great farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Great place to be.A unique bridge.
Love, love, LOVE the tridge... so does our dog, Kuma! He makes lots of new friends at the tridge!!
A great walk. Very busy with visitors. A great place for wedding, formal, and senior pictures.
