Riverview is one of my two favorite places to visit. The trail can get wet at the beginning but it gets nice once you reach the river. Weve seen bear tracks, bear poop on the trail, and trees chewed by beavers. There are benches periodically to rest. No toilets or picnic tables, but a good parking area. I havent done the green trail yet but plan to. The conservancy is allowing bow hunting in 2019 and hikers are told to wear blaze orange on the yellow and green trails.
Nice woodland trail with old pines and oak trees.
Beautiful trail, views of the river and quiet
Good lite hiking trails
Trails are well marked.
I love the piece and quiet here. The trails are marked good. Its more rustic than some of the other trails, but I think that is part of the charm.
Great trails. Great view of the Tittabawassee River. Ive seen eagles before. Best ever - saw a porcupine. Not heavily used so is often pretty quiet.
We go here often to walk our dogs. It’s a nice walk if you go straight in and around the first loop and back to the parking lot. Got a couple benches to sit along side the Tittabawassee River once you get to the back side. There’s another trail system that goes off to the west/south west from that first loop. That’s a whole other adventure. Need some time to do it but it takes you through some various groves of trees and ridges that’s worth checking out if you have a chance. No bathrooms...no running water...just a parking lot, some info, and a trash can. Can get very wet back there in the spring too!
Found this place and I loved it. Great nature place
Riverview is a nice place for a scenic over view of the Tittipewassee River
