Nice fields for sports.

Such a tranquil, beautiful relaxing atmosphere, many places to sit, walking track, gardens. Very peaceful and quiet. So many different kinds of gorgeous trees. The perfect place for a small picnic. And its just hidden away so nicely. It has its own parking lot, but not crowded at all. Very safe place just to go sit alone and relax. Its like a hidden Oasis.

I love this park. Lots of places to sit, good walking path, with an alternate path through the woods. Some of the flooring on the exercise equipment needs maintenance. Has restroom facilities and drink machines. Plenty of parking.

This place has the best softball fields in the entire state. Well-constructed, well-maintained, beautiful fields all around.

Great park. But the workers need to stop rising around on their carts and finish cleaning up from the storm.

Very nice use of land that was unused for many years. The turf fields is a great modern upgrade.

My favorite place to run. Usually never crowded and the regulars are nice. Nice changes of scenery on the mile loop. When wet the track can be slippery, but not a deal breaker.

Its a nice place to walk. The track is even. I have balance issues and this is an easy walk. It has enough people that you feel safe but not overcrowded. I just wish that more of the track was shaded.

The new field turf is very nice. It allows for games to be played more often instead of rain outs etc. Concession are good as well and are well staffed.

Victory Church was very organized the fresh cooked meals were very good food for my pantry was appreciated thanks may God Bless ur congregation

They have a good bit a shadeon part of the path everyone out there is very Frienly great parking

Nice Facility !

Well maintained community area that hosts plenty of events and sporting opportunities. The fencing is getting a bit worn by the ballfields but is still functional. The personnel who manage the reservations are very friendly and responsive. Overall, I still believe its well above most public facilities.

I enjoy the park i visit a couple of times per week. I wish they would fix the water so the dogs can get a drink when forced to drag there humans around it.

Nice for calisthenics, nature, and sports. I wish theyd stop developing the woods. Its getting very easy to see the fields beyond the trees now.

Huge park where you can walk, run, relax, play your sport, exercise, and do many things to enjoy nature.

Great park with a walking trail, tennis courts, fields for the sports balls activities. Right off Airline, two parking areas, limited restrooms. Bring your own chair if coming to watch a game. Shady areas and non-shady areas.

It doesnt have a lot of space but theres a fantastic steps to an above the ground enclosed area for walking and running and some benches for sitting and walkways for pets l didnt explore the whole area so maybe l missed some things

Two large open soccer pitches. Filling a real need in our area for playing fields. A little muddy on the sidelines though.

Construction going on right now so you want 2 go to side thats by police station, not by Earhart. Otherwise, we love the green space. Cant wait 4 them to plant more trees 2! Looks like theyre putting sub-surface drainage in which is good. Also, upgrades2ballpark areas.

Fields are very nice and concessions have decent food.

There were plenty of parking spaces for RVs there which I hope to get another of someday. There were also few ruins to look at from the original owners Mansion and a factory. When I was around three or four years old I can remember going there and finding the trees in the lake being very creepy to me. But thats the salinity level at that particular area and thats why they have trees in the water.

This park has an overhead for its bleachers, fans, drinks stay cold in their cups, great nachos, and tasty chicken fingers! Ive been to parks from New Orleans to Zachary to Chalmette, and this park is hands down my favorite park! But like all I wish they actually used their scoreboards.

Watch my nephew play baseball had a great time. Place was clean, bathrooms was alright needed some work. Leaving game had all these bugs flying around that was nasty. They said it was termites, yuck.

So crisp and clean, love that its terf so its not affected by our frequent rain in the spring, summer, lol all year round months. Definitely not The Sandlot feel. Almost feels pro. But still has a nice family vibe.

Nice walking track lose weight

I play Flag Football here, on Monday nights, the field isnt so bad, just the Sand, but thats not a big problem ! Kool place, I love watching Multiple Baseball & Softball games !

The all turf infield is extremely nice but hot! Also the bathrooms were in terrible condition throughout the day.

The urban forest here is really underrated. Its so nice at dawn or when its just drizzled a bit. You can usually spot blue birds and rabbits here. My dog loves it

A great place for a shaded walk, lots of squirrel action, bring a bag of peanuts! A boardwalk meanders through the forest, and during May there are beautiful fireflies at night (before closing time) on the boardwalk trail! Multiple picnic benches under a tall canopy of shade trees. Stretching area. An interesting walk.

Great park, really nice walking or running paths, nice little play grounds for the Kids, a great little league baseball or softball field and a MLB quality baseball diamond that plays home to the New Orleans BabyCakes AAA baseball team.

This. Place. Is. Awesome! My sons soccer game got moved here from Kenner as a one-time venue change. It is just beautiful. Well-lit, *real* public restrooms (not porta-johns), beautiful landscape architecture (and beautiful architecture, too!)...just a really, really lovely public space.

The big bounce house was the greatest, granddaughter and grandson had a wonderful time.

The park just added Turf Infields to all 4 Baseball Diamonds.We just played a Tournament there this weekend.

Huge beautiful park

All of the infield is now turf, including the clay dirt area/base running. Outfield still grass. Only thing is for some reason the AED is located on the second floor of the box office. Not sure why a life saving device is hidden away like that.

Turf looks good on the fields

I play soccer here everyday and the fields are well done and the goals are great quality and you can come randomly and find a quick pick up match or find a group and make an organized match.
