Great location to paddle to from the Saguaro Marina or Butcher Jones Beach. Love that its only accessible by boat and paddle craft!
Rustic camp spot. No water or wood for overnighters. But lots of unused camp spots with tables and grills. Its mostly used as a boaters bathroom-stop and occasional picnic. We tent camped from our canoe. Fishing was non-existent on February.
I have been to this site many time over the years. Sometimes we just stop to let the dogs walk around, other times to have a picnic, and other times to camp. I have taken Scout groups there several times to camp, and then they fished from the dock. Years past, our nickname for the place was Fly Creek, because of all the flies. We still call it that, but I havent been bothered by flies there in years. There is a bathroom there. The original one burned down and they finally replaced it. It is two latrines (non flushing), so take your normal precautions with them.
Bagley Flat is notable for its boat access only camping on Saguaro Lake. Camping is allowed at the 10 designated sites with grills and tables provided. This location is fun during the summer months because of the nice grove of mesquite trees that provide and abundance of shade. Bagley Flat also has a courtesy dock for easy fishing
Stay here year after year, always make wonderful memorys!
Great place to launch a boat and go out on the lake for the day Heck any day on the lake usually beats a day anywhere else
Wish theyd clean this place. The bathrooms are never checked, it seems.
Spent 2 nights here, Saturday night, guns blaring across the lake at midnight and they were shooting a few times towards the camp ground. Sunday night, very quieter and Javelinas came in keeping us up. Nice area, but watch out for late night gun blazing and wildlife.
Really Rocky I wish they had a nice Beach to swim. but the trees make it really nice and Shady so we enjoyed a picnic
Amazing view, scary bathrooms, beautiful campsites and a place to dock your boat for the night.
Listed as a campground but there is NO over night camping. Day use only. Very misleading and false Information. I would have loved to know this months ago when I planned a CAMPING trip. Obviously that got ruined because there is no camping here overnight.
Ummm. It was great. We passed it on the River Bell. It looked wonderfully primative. Bring everything you need, and Take it out With You...please!
