While passing by Boise on the way to Washington, pick up some food from the many restaurants on the boulevard and have a nice picnic at Storey Park. Let the kids run around to get their wiggles out before filling up with gas and hitting the road again. In August, the 86 degree weather made this a perfect place to stop and play!

Nice park in the middle of a busy intersection. If the noise of constant traffic doesnt bother you, youll love the open and covered picnic areas, big playground area, restrooms, and drinking water fountain.

Went and had a dinner picnic here, was nice and shaded with all this heat, it was very peaceful and heard so many birds around us.. definitely will be back to read a book under one of the trees one day

One of the few places we can still get together

My kids love this park, its probably one of the best outdoor parks in the valley when it comes to the jungle gym. The only downside is its right next to Franklin road so theyre is a lot of road noise (they should have put it on the south side of the park). Clean toilets, water fountain and a covered area with tables. No BBQ equipment.

This park is lovely yet if you have children its not big enough to be overwhelming.

Love how this park is very well taken care of. My mother-in-law and I stop here with lunch when were in town doing business. And the only time my little girl eats all her lunch just so she can play here. LOVE IT HERE!

One of the largest parks in the valley, with both grass and gravel for the dogs to run on. There are separate sections for large and small dogs, with covered areas and tables for the people that the animals bring. Water is available and fresh and pickup bags are available in a number of areas. Nice big grassy area and some play equipment for training dogs. No water features but lots of area for the dogs to run.

Its a really great park, has a party area, decent jungle gym, it has swings and one of them is and adult and kid combo swing Ive never seen one before. There is meridian pool and meridian speedway right next door as well.

Great place to get away and take your family very clean very open feel like Fast Cars And you get here the cars racing in the summertime you can swim winter time is cool too you can pretty much do anything there very family-oriented and very fun for even that lonesome people

We came to storey park to watch the fireworks show for independence day and it was awesome! There were a ton of people, but the show was AMAZING! Definitely one of the best ive ever seen. As for the park itself, there were several options as far as slides were concerned. Good for older kids as well as small children.

Quiet family park with the swimming pool & the racetrack within walking distance. Maverik across the street for drinks, snacks, & food. Very visable which makes it safer for kids, and well patrolled by Meridian Police Great place to enjoy shade trees, a good book, a short walk, or a community event. Smaller park, but makes up for it because of location to the whole community.

A great park for the kids to play at, close to Meridian pool. The only issue is the opening in the fence by the playground right close to Franklin and Meridian Roads, a very busy intersection. Not a smart idea especially for tiny feet that love to run.

Smaller park thats great for kids. Pretty good sized grassy area. Only downside, its on Meridian and Franklin so theres a lot of traffic on two sides.

The Meridian optimist club has their tree lot open. They have some beautiful trees prices range from 50 to 150 period great place to support the community and get your Christmas tree

Theres a nice play area. Also a dog park and swimming pool. Lots of nice areas for picnics and family gatherings.

A great neighborhood park in the heart of downtown Meridian Idaho. A nice playgroundb covered seating...BBQ grills available for charcoal and a swimming-pool across the street.

Sweet park. Fairly flat. Playground and restrooms. In downtown Meridian so its convenient to stop by when you have a few minutes.

Indigo feast was held here. Big enough for events. Very clean. Great equipment my 6 year old brother had a blast.

This is a really pretty Park and my family will drive 20 minutes to get there. It is well maintained and has plenty of space for your kids to go and play. My daughter had football practice here and ever since then we have come to this park for her to play.

Nice small gateway park to Meridian downtown. Beautiful large shade trees, playground equipment, a small group picnic shelter, and tables around the park. Great family play area. Adequate parking. Also home to the Meridian Visitor Center and the Meridian Chamber of Commerce office.

The playground is amazing! It has small stairs that toddlers can handle along with a few smaller slides. But also has some huge tall slides for the bigger kids to enjoy. It also has swings and a picnic area. If I lived closer I would be her more often.

Noisy due to proximity to Franklin and the Speedway, but a decent little park with a nice play structure.

We always love coming to Storey Park to hang out! Brought our sandwiches and played a little before the car races today. So much fun!

Nice little baseball park in Boise Idaho. Home to the Meridian High School baseball team. They just need a scoreboard. Great location near the Speedway park and city pool. Maverik is across the street for refreshments and snacks in between games.

Parking needs improvement but overall great

Lots of shade, and fairly centrally located in Meridian.For Pokemon Go players, I recommend this park as a base of operations. It has 4 stops and 2 gyms, and a single loop of the park is just about right to reset the cooldown on the stops. Great for restocking, and waiting for raid groups to form.

Its a basic park with a few picnic tables and a sheltered area for groups. The best part is the playground. There is a swimming pool next door so thats a nice option.

Saw fireworks again this year. I think it was the most spectacular show so far. Loved the tunnel cake.

Wonderful. I loved the Indigo Arts festival.

Really decent park but I wish it was fully fenced considering its on the corner of two very busy streets.

The city of Meridian could really do better than this. Ive come here a decent amount of times, and parking is always difficult. My kids have a good time, but they definitely get bored here quicker than other parks.

This is a nice little spot with a playground, some picnic tables, benches. Not a lot of space and it is next to some busy roads.

Fantastic as usual and the fireworks was great.
