Sad to see the condition of the train, with windows broken. Went here since my girls were young. Something needs to be done to preserve the park.
Have yet to visit inside but look forward to it. Several things outside to see and a neat place to have lunch.
“Top 50 museums USA”. I don’t think so! Drove long way to get here and it was closed although posted times said it was open. No one answered phone and no answering machine. Big disappointment.
So disappointed. Website says they’ve moved. New Address no sign of anything there. Old address says open on Saturday but sign on door says closed. No sign directing to new location. I don’t know where they are and apparently not open on Saturday which contradicts the google maps information
I loved this place so much!Do not miss it if you are anywhere near Meridian, MS.As a singer and musician it was humbling and inspiring to learn about and see first hand the sacrifices that Jimmie Rodgers made to leave this awesome legacy of music for people to enjoy for all time. The staff couldnt have been more friendly. They were knowledgeable and passionate about Jimmie Rodgers and all of the wonderful artifacts that are in the Museum.Thank you Susan and Bill for an experience that gave me tears of joy and a lifelong memory.
Great place and service
Sorry Jimmie ducks stole the show.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great place to visit for anyone interested in country music history.
Excellent museum, havent been yet
Still not open.
Has several things that you can do, splash pad, playgrounds, Jimmy Rogers Museum, Densely Carousel House, or just sit back and relax watching the geese & ducks around the pond, and lots of historical landmarks to read and learn about.
The guy that was working here, knew a lot about Jimmy Rodgers.
Thanks
Drive here from NOLA and it was closed
