Really nice park. Has BBQ tables, picnic tables, a small pond/lake, a field, and a pool. I didnt see any trails or walking paths. I am not sure if you can fish in the small lake.

We ordered our dinner and went to the park to eat, there were others doing the same as we, but there was room for all at the picnic tables. All in all a enjoyable time very relaxing. We will not be able to go outside to much longer so now is the time to go.

Love this park. There are geese and ducks a plenty, a playground, lots of sports fields, benches, picnic tables, clean public bathrooms... small little haven!

Was not here long, just hoping to let the dog get his morning run around before continuing a road trip through the area. Would be nice if there were any actual dog park (or at least a visible one, since we couldnt find it just driving through). Looks like the baseball/softball fields are nice and well-maintained, though.

Beautiful family oriented park with full amenities for every sport enthusiast. From tennis to baseball, soccer to basketball. Hiking and biking trails as well as when covid is over meeting places for every kind of event. Well kept and offering full safety measures for each visitor.

I wish there were paths for walking but uts a nice park with a good playground for kids. Tennis courts are kept up and there are plenty of baseball fields. Havent fished here yet but looks promising.

Beautiful park. Awful place to watch a baseball game. No room for spectators, and we always end up having to sit in the outfield. Bathrooms are appreciated, but always dirty and the building smells.

My family loves this park. We like to have picnics and my Daughter, 2 years old, likes to ride her bike in the big parking lot.

We love this park as it is designed for all ages. And it has ample amount of parking. Lots to do there. Newly renovated playground is great. Love the new shade area. Only complaint is seemed to be a lot of trash littered all over the ground. And many of the areas were super muddy and children had gotten it all over everything. So couldnt use the swings or the one slide .

Very quaint park setting but full of activities. And they had a TIRE SWING!! My daughter is 13, my Son 6 and neither of them had ever seen a tire swing. Well be returning for more memories soon

I have driven past this park for many years without going in. I went to the park for the first time a few days ago to attend a party. I was truly impressed with the size and design of the park. The only issue I have is with the parking. When they have baseball games going on it is difficult to get in and out.

Very well maintained park lots of geese to feed. Went to see my granddaughter play tennis.

All sorts of activities are here, tennis, baseball, basketball, football, playground, little lake, and even a waterfall, yoga, shelter... Love coming here with my 4 yr old daughter, she would always make new friends.

A nice and small quiet park including swingsets, tennis courts, a pond (no swimming), a water feature, and a playground set. Great family spot to spend an afternoon. Pokemon Go players will enjoy several Pokestops and a Gym.

Biased umpire made our out of town baseball team frustrated and outrageous behavior by wife and coach toward our children was shocking. Pretty park but needs better parking and should drain shallow lake that breeds mosquitos.

This park is fun for a short walk. It also does a good job of hosting XC races, baseball games, and soccer games.

The playground could use some shade trees. Much of the equipment was too hot to touch

A lively, lovely park situated directly across the street from Great Lakes Mall in Mentor. I often stop here after a round of shopping to decompress and de-stress from the bustle of the bazaar. The park features two large wooden playgrounds for kids, multiple sporting fields for baseball, soccer, tennis and American football. Ive never used the pool facilities as this park, but the maintenance crew seems to keep everything well maintained.

Me and my family had a lot of fun here. My fiancee caught a baby large mouth bass in the pond lol.

New playground equipment is awesome. The slides are new, one high and one fast. 6 yr old and three yr old had a blast. The climbing equipment looks safe and sturdy too. Love that there are benches all around it, and several with shade. Clean park. The tennis courts looked to be in great condition too. Pool not open yet, but last summer the whole family enjoyed it. Nice clean restrooms available too!

Garfield park has so many offerings. There is a public pool, large pond, wooded trails, 8 baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball court, large playground area and a large pavilion for picnics and events

Go on Friday afternoon, for a couple more weeks. Fresh local produce and other things like ice cream, popcorn and assorted items for sale. Great outdoor set up and good prices on fresh local grown food.

A great location, set back off of a major road. Baseball field and a vast amount of parking. There is a pool however I do believe you need a pass to use. A waterfall as well with a picnic area where family lunches can be had and for photos to be taken.

Im usually able to find an open field to practice softball with my daughter. Go Big Red!!

The Farm Market is a very nice experience. The vendors are helpful in explaining their products, I prefer as close to organic as I can find. I love the time at the market, its outside in the fresh air. Great event to be a part of.

This was a nice park. I was almost hit in the parking lot and the train tracks run right beside it. Otherwise it was a hit.

This is a nice park. Theres a farmers market on Fridays in the summer. And the playground is nice, and has some swings and stuff for kids with disabilities. There is also a pavilion and a building available to rent for parties and events.
