Nice little place for a jog, but there are a ton of activities for the whole family. I believe the Memphis Zoo is close by.

8 miles of bike such a great place for exercising, day out, they also have cabins for rent. Beautiful natural area! In love

Beautiful place

Amazing example of the old growth virgin forests of the early US. Also, the work the city has done to protect this forest from development is outstanding! This old growth forest has many trails to explore, trees to see, and wildlife to watch. A must for any nature lover.

This is part of the amazing Memphis zoo. The zoo is a great place to visit while in Memphis. They just had the birth of a sloth, giraffe and baby hippo! Truly one of the best zoos in the US. Next to the zoo is Overton park which has some good trails for hiking, running (there is a paved path), biking (on the small end) and walking your dog.

Not many trails in Memphis that arent paved, this makes for a nice meander. Short but usually quiet.

I love this place. Its a great and safe place to take your kids. Its a must check!
