Great show tonight5 course love.Small theater not really any bad seats
Great little theatre in downtown Marietta owned and staffed by locals with a passional for performing arts. Its not expensive and they put on wonderful shows. Great place for a date night. They sell reasonably priced concessions, beer, and wine. The theatre is very intimate, so if you want to spread out, find 3 friends and splurge on the VIP tables (its a pittance more than regular tickets). Buy your tickets early because they do tend to sell out, especially on the weekend shows. If you want to do a date night, they offer special dinner and show tickets that include a meal at a nice Italian place on the square that has nice smells coming from it when I walk past (though Ive not been there yet).
Show was well written and funny.Actors were talented and gave it their allWe enjoyed it very much
What a cute hidden theater. So far Ive seen Disenchanted and Zombie Prom there. Both casts were amazing and the staff is great too.
Very good programming. Tickets a tad expensive but for a treat ok
A quaint and intimate theater, much smaller than where the proper Lyric Theatre group performs. The volunteers, staff, and actors are all very nice and the facilities were adequate, given what we paid. When looking for the Studio, don’t blink- we walked right by the entrance before we realized we were there.I won’t include discussion of the production; this review is more about the facility than the show we saw.
Outstanding venue. Up close and personal.
Small, intimate venue. Great atmosphere. Up close and personal with the actors. Good refreshments. One bathroom.
A fun place to go, a hidden treaure
This was our 2nd year doing the Valentine show.I am so intrigued by how plays at first appear awkward and unsettling to me. But as the show progressed and you become attached to the story and the actors.Your emotions evolve into the story line and as you become enveloped by the characters journey. You start to make a connection with them and also share in the emotional state of the story.I learn so much about how I feel on certain issues and it allows me to engage in them from an outside perspective.Plays should become more apart of the foundation of our society so we can allow ourselves to explore our very comes and vast emotional state. In a safe and almost always enjoyable setting. No matter the weight of the topic. So grateful for the efforts of special people in our community that place do much effort into creating this wonderful experience for all of Marietta to enjoy. Please give them a chance. Let go of your expectations and just embrace the curiosity of your own emotional condition.Last night we learned about love on a day we should all learn to experience how we should treat each other and ourselves. Thanks Jeff and rest of the crew.
Our first time there. We saw The Altar Boyz. High energy. Fun play.
Enjoyed the performance, wish they had told me that they were serving wine before the show.
Very entertaining show at Lyric Studio Theatre tonight. Nice little venue.
Fabulous tiny intimate theatre. I will admit bias as since I enjoy the place so much I started volunteering and now Im on the board but it was all because of how awesome it is.
Wonderful production by Georgia Ensemble Theaters Teen Ensemble
Quaint little theater off the Marietta square. A bit hard to find but worth it. Very enjoyable play, First Date. A great comedy.
