The renovations theyve done are wonderful! Acoustics are awesome! However when people are rude and talking during the show, like they were during the opening act for Chris Jason, you can here them in stereo. Chris Jansen was definitely one of the best concerts Ive ever been to, saw him at The Opry in June, couldnt wait to see him again! So much energy and so much love for the music and his fans! It was a wonderful experience!

What a great theatre. Old and classic. Friendly staff that seem to be really pleased that you are there. Great sight lines from everywhere that I have sat. I wouldnt recommend the balcony if you have long legs; its a tight fit. Not worth the lower price to me. And if youve not been to Marietta before, come early and talk a walk around. Its a beautiful town.

Beautiful theatre with plenty of seating. Theatre was very clean and very well maintained. However, as a 64 dude, the seats are kind of small and uncomfortable. They lacked elbow and leg room and my knees were against the seats in front of me (although thats pretty much everywhere I go). That aside, I would definitely go to another event hosted there.

A true gem of a theater! I went down to see Hot Tuna. The seating was very comfortable, and very clean. Pletty of beverages and snacks were available. The overall sound was great especially for an acoustic performance.

It was the first time I have ever been there and I will be back. It was the best concert and the best service I ever received. We Loved it. We had a wonderful time.

What a great theatre! Wonderful people, comfortable and tons of womens rest rooms. Clean. Concession stand offering candy, popcorn, water, soda, wine and beer.Nice stage and very cold air conditioner. Bring sweater. Dont hesitate though - terrific experience for us. We saw Bye Bye Birdie, Summer 2019.

Chose the balcony for the Columbus Orchestra. As a 62 guy I found the seats to be small enough to be bothersome but not small enough to make the 2 hour show unbearable. The acoustics were great and I will be back again.

Great small place for a concert or show!

Im happy to have this historic place up and running, BUT after attending an event there, I wasnt really impressed. Friendly staff. Prices are little high for what you get. Seating was uncomfortable with no cupholders and not much room between you and the seat in front of you. Overall an okay place to go.

I love the theater thats awesome...except for the old people that uses the handicap. Just so they can have more legroom thats what the one gentleman beside me said and his three friends...wow really mister...

I just love the place, attended many movies as a kid, and as an adult, attended many shows and movies as well!!!

Beautifully restored theater - returned to its former glory! We got to see the traveling version of the 5point Film Festival here during the Rivers, Trails and Ales festival - staff was extremely friendly - they let my 9 year old in for free when the cut off was 6 (not my idea - they just said he looks 6!) From the ads that played before the movie it looks like they have a great line up of live performances scheduled.

In the upper most part of the balcony they told us as soon as David McCullough started and people were seated they would turn off the intense lights 2 ft. Above our heads making it extremely hot. WRONG. ...THEY LEFT THEM ON THE WHOLE TIME! Fans only on for a part of the time. David McCollugh was great but the Theatre experience was not.

I couldnt be happier that our area now has such a spectacular performance venue. The Peoples Bank Theatre is truly a phoenix which has risen from the ashes thanks to the hard work and devotion of a dedicated group who simply wouldnt give up. I have attended several high quality performances here and look forward to many more. History, entertainment, and community all come together in this beautiful place.

Saw the Oak Ridge boys. First time there. Comfortable. Nice decor. Had seats on main floor under the balcony. Sound bounces around under there and makes lyrics hard to hear. Next time seats in front of balcony.

I saw a recent concert at the theater. This theater has been renovated and is very nice looking. For viewing events there, if you are a tall individual I do not recommend sitting in the balcony seats. I am just 6 feet tall and my knees were eating the wood chair back of the seat in front of me for the entire concert.

We went to Peoples Theatre to see or listen to Aaron Tippon. Starting at 8pm, which did not happen. Had no idea we would listening to another couple singing for 40 mins which we didnt come to hear.Then we waited 30 mins for Aaron Tippon. 30 mins later his son came out to sing for 25 mins. witch I definitely did not want to here. Finally Aaron Tippon came out to sing, thought we were going to listen to him for at least a hour or an 90 mins. No, he lasted 25 or 30 mins.We went to listen to him, had to listen to his son, wish we could have avoided. So went show at 7:15, to only to listen to Aaron, he did not sing until 10pm. Not a very good night!!!

Saw a great show, solo singer & played the piano.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to find. Refreshment prices were a bit high, but the popcorn we had was delicious. The ambience was perfect and is kid friendly. Will definitely go back if given the opportunity. Ladies, the restroom on the second floor that we used, was nice & clean.

Loved it but we were on the first row balcony and our legs were crammed in the block wall in front of us. For that I give it a 1 star.

Fabulous recently renovated theater. Best part is the seating is well designed for short people like myself. Even though it is a historic building, the seating rises well enough to allow me to see clearly over the audience members in front of me. Excellent concerts and good vibes all around.

Are you kidding me? What a beautiful old restored theater in the heart of downtown Marietta. If youre in the Marietta OH area you have to see if there is a show here. A wonderful place to enjoy theater and music.

Great little theater to watch a show

Seating is nicely elevated over the row in front of you, that is a plus for shorter people. The artwork/designs painted on the walls looks cheap which is a shame. Takes away from an authentic theater look.

Lovely restored old theater. Seats about 600. Excellent sound. Very active volunteer support and bookings. Large variety of acts. Book directly with them as the ticket sites are gouging. Handicapped seating available. Beer and wine as well as other refreshments. Parking not a problem. Restaurants and bars within 2 blocks.

Very disappointing in the ticket purchasing experience. I bought tickets less than a minute after they became available to the public, yet no seats were available in the first dozen or so! How? Why?They’re available now. So frustrated!

Overall it was a good experience. Seats were a little small. If you have longer legs your knees will be hurting after an hour.

We went to see the movie Frozen, I have never had such a great time while singing along with the movie and photos for the children, The Anna and Elsa characters were outstanding, with everyone. Please have more of these at the theatre in the future. Great Afternoon.

Had an awesome time at Peoples Bank Theatre today watched Polar Express with my three kids they have never been there.It is a beautiful place. The attendants were very helpful and extremely nice I would recommend anyone to go check out this theater. Also popcorn and drinks were a very reasonable price compared to the movie theaters..

Hot Tuna (stellar as usual!), 2nd row, great sound, happy ushers and other staff (and I mean everyone! Helpful, too)— and only an easy hour away! This was my first visit, can’t wait for the next show there! Thanks!

Great concert venue!

Shows are always great! Unfortunately, its usually too hot in theatre. Cooling system doesnt seem able to get cool air to balcony adequately.

Having grown up here, I have spent a lot of time in this Theater. Beautifully redone. I have since been to many of their venues, from country to rock to childrens programs. You will love it!

A FANTASTIC theatre with a long history, newly renovated and re-opening with the accoutrements of a top-notch theatre. Its beautiful (not at all a black-box or modern movie-theater style of decor; very tasteful and elegant). Ive had the opportunity to perform for a pre-opening private function here (as a member of the house band), and I can say that the technical staff and facility are prepared to host any performance that comes through with proficiency and style.

This has been an excellent addition to the area. Theyve brought in all kinds of shows and artists. Seating is a little snug, but worth it given the quality of shows.
