Marietta Square is a great relaxing place to be at, whether you areca local, or someone from out of town. You have a variety of restaurants, stores, and attractions that will keep you in the area for hours. Its a great place, whether you are on a date, by yourself, with friends, family, and so on. The only down side is no buttons on the traffic signals. You just gotta when it says too. Or if there is nobody coming. Many people are not enforcing masks either. Some places are, bit some arent.

We drove to the square and eat at Red Hare Brewing Co. It was late at night and the temp was perfect. Beer was great. They have outdoor seating but almost no wait service. You order inside and tell them your table number. Love walking the dog around checking out the stores.

Super fun, local place to walk around. Locally owned shops are very nice, all have very kind employees. Many beautiful murals by talented artists. Many restaurants ranging from fine dining to pizza, burgers to bubble tea. Stores from soda pop shops to clothing, art gallery’s to a tattoo shop. One of my favorite places in the Atlanta area. I can always find a parking spot. I would come here more often if I could.

Such a beautiful place to take my kids for the day. So many shops and good eats. Plus little candy and ice cream shops which the kids love. My girls love the play train and the fountain. I adore hearing random people getting on the stage singing. Overall such a good energy place that is very family friendly. I wouldve given 5 stars but my mother in law came to visit and we wanted to check out all the shops. Shes disabled and cant walk more than a few yards at once without struggle. The parking on the square is only for 2 hours it took us a while looking and she ended up getting a citation. I understand limiting the time but disabled parking should be permitted for longer.

This is a great place to come and enjoy the park in the center of it all, with the awesome 3 tier fountain, beautifully kept lawns and florals, monuments, kids train play area, gazebo, and stage area. You can sit and relax on the many benches all around the park. In the Square are some really unique shops, restaurants, the Strand Theater, two ice cream shops, candy store, Antique shop and the courthouses. The Marietta Pizza Company has outdoor seating as well as indoors and serves the most awesome pizza, calzones, etc. The magic shop is quite a store too. It is difficult to point out all the great places to visit on the square. Plus they have concert events throughout the year in the park, as well as street vendor events here and there during the year. They have a calendar of events online to help you plan events. This is definitely a jewel available for all to enjoy. If you have not visited, I urge you to do so!

Marietta square is beautiful and antiquated, filled with cute stores and interesting nooks. It has lots of history and is surrounded by train tracks. Parking is more of a nightmare than you can possibly imagine, and it is always always packed. Check out the cool bars, weird shops, and interesting theatres nearby.

Awesome, after years of visiting family in Marietta, we were happy to have finally found a culturally & gastronomically diverse spot to visit while I am in town. We loved The food at Taqueria Tsunami. It was awesome to see a black cople and the wedding party taking fotos at the square. I fit & all people seemed comfortable to all kinds all around. I will be back next time that we are in town.

Beautiful and fun place to take a stroll! So many little unique stores and restaurants, down all the roads surrounding the park, its incredible how much they fit in such a small area.Every time I come I find something new and Ive been coming here for over 10 years. There are plenty of shops that have been here forever, like the theatere, antique store, and pizza place, but new stores pop up here and there. The park itself is very small, but really the square is about discovering cool little spots and the fun events they hold here!

The Square has a quaint little park in the middle of a bustling city, surrounded on four sides by shops of all shapes and varieties. The stage has regular concerts, and the kiddie part of the park has a stationary mini train the little ones love climbing and imagining on. Theres plenty of shade for the summer and those trees turn the park into a Autumn wonderland with colour changing leaves. One block away is even more eating opportunities with The Marketplace. And the theaters are always hopping with comedy shows, live performances and such.

It was our first time to this particular neighborhood and it offered a wonderful day of activities and sights. I really like the old downtown feel of the area. This was my first visit to Marietta.Their festival was happening but the first thing I came upon was the police with their war surplus super rescue vehicle. They were welcoming folks inside. I was not entirely comfortable with it.I got to visit the 3 antique shops in town and bought a couple of pieces for my political campaign collection. It seemed a welcoming town.

Quaint, free parking, and nice place to stroll. Family-friendly with a small playground. There are restrooms at the stage, which is helpful. The local businesses are quaint and friendly. We love attending the Fall Festival and Zombie Walk. We do try to avoid the area for New Years Eve and July 4th. Only con is that drivers do speed in the area, so caution when crossing the roads or finding parking. There is a parking garage, across from the Pho restaurant, that is free parking on the weekends. Im not sure if its free weeknights.

Lovely historic square with HORRIFIC parking and several meter maids that stalk the cars and give you a ticket within seconds of the meter running out. Its not possible to park in the square and actually stoll and eat lunch and shop and enjoy your time...because the parking is limited bith by space and time limit. You CAN park several blocks over and walk over...but not convenient in hot or rainy weather

Great gem in Cobb county. Tons of mom and pop shops and restaurants. Very family friendly with several events like farmers markets, art walks, yoga in the square, and other various community gatherings. It’s cozy, friendly, and unpretentious. One of my favorite places to spend time when I’m in town.Ooh— but definitely hard to find parking depending on the time of the week. On the flip side— most parking options are free— which seems rare these days— so that’s a plus!
