Ive lived here for about 8 years. Out of the blue manager Crystal began charging us to park in front of our trailer. I eventually called housing authority and she had to pay it all back. Many other people in the park told me she was charging them also. If she charges you anything get it in writing.

I have been living here for about 7 Months now and its been great ! I have zero complaints . I’ve had no issues with Management. Any time i have had questions or concerns shes always so polite a pleasure to deal with ! Happy they are making lots of changes and upgrades to the park ! All in all im a Happy resident at Southland Mobile home Park :)

We have been here awhile, the park as a whole has had its growing pains through the years, but the neighbors are all pretty friendly.We have a Facebook Neighborhood Watch type group for residents only, we host a National Night Out event in August. We have a pool and coin OP laundry available, the management is much better then its been in the past she is on top of her game and always looking to improve the park. (Its come a long way since the new management took over. Before she came, the park looked ghetto and run down, many lots were empty, the fences were all broke... now its flourishing. Take what you can get is my motto, play by the rules and she will leave you alone)We have a mix of young families and elderly residents. Most of the kids play all together riding bikes through the park, speeding isnt tolerated (hence all the signs and speed bumps)Drugs and loud obnoxious parties arent tolerated by management or residents alike. After 10pm most of us are ready for you to shut it down and some will go as far as calling PD, due to past years issues. (There used to be like 5-7yrs ago, some gang rivalry residents, they are both gone and out of the park)The bird feeder thing is unfortunate, but has been a real issue as our park is backed right up to an open field where crops are done yearly. Rodents (mice/rats) and Marsupials (Opposums) are attracted to bird food, compost piles, trash bags left out among other things... we no longer have the cat population we once had so the rodents were an issue for a short time during the crop season. I havent seen them in a year or 2 now.

My friend Stacy lives here it is a beautiful place well decorated the whole nine yards and its where Im going to be calling home now Im very appreciative couldnt ask for a better place to be

My father in law lives here and we are glad they are cleaning up the place. the only people that probably mad are the nasty people that live here nd dont want to clean up. The management is doing a good job and never been rude when I have asked questions. if they are rude its probably because of all the dirty people who are mad that they cant have all their drug friends over so they are rude to management.

I would give this park a higher resting since the rent rates for spaces are decent (around $650), but the lady who manages the place is unprofessional and rude. She insists on trying to charge people fees for parking their cars in front of their houses even though there isnt enough public parking for everyone to park. She banned humming bird feeders claiming they attracted rodents, and she has harassed residents because they refused to pay fees that were not listed in their contracts. Some residents have even had to call the housing authority to get her to stop harassing them. I wouldnt live there as long as she is running the place.
