We went to a performance of The Mousetrap. I hope to get back to see A Christmas Story. I was very impressed with all the actors and the set design. It was a very enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend The Mansfield Community Playhouse. Its definitely something Mansfield can be proud of.

This is a great local theatre.

First time attending a show was last weekend and I was shocked. We saw leading ladies and it was fantastic!! Loved the environment. Old school playhouse keeping the theatre alive, beers and other snacks and beverages are available!!

If your looking for an inexpensive evening in a small setting, this is it. Had a great time, enjoyed the play, not a bad place to sit in the place. We were upstairs but there is another venue downstairs that I hear is also good.

Food is always great, but service is slow and food takes forever to get to your table.

We ha seen a couple of plays the they were good. The last one we saw had a lot of cussing. They did mention that it have bad language, but it didnt mention it was going to be strong bad language. We have not been back, and several people left at intermission.

A wonderful community theater. Tickets for shows are very reasonably priced. We have visited several times, and continue to look forward to their new productions. (Tip* the balcony almost never fills up and offers a great view without being crowded by others).

Always a great experience at the playhouse. The show was wonderful, lots of fun. Want to see Young Frankenstein. The only suggestion I have would be, is that the wine at intermission, is served on the first floor, and trying to carry two glasses upstairs, was an adventure. But thats a small thing, as the play and the cast where wonderful! It was a great evening!

My friend volunteers here in the ticket booth on Friday nights. While I was in Ohio, I tagged along with her while she worked. When I was in high school, I volunteered here, myself. I was always amazed at how professional the plays were for such a small town. I still am amazed. One weekend, we attended a play. It was absolutely superb. The set was simple, but contained everything needed to get the message through. The actors were hilarious. We had an absolute marvelous time. For a small sized theater, they definately have a lot of heart.

Went to see The Young Frankentein play. The cast was amazing! The play was well executed. The theatre was small nothing elaborate.But it was organized. The building was clean and well maintained. I would happily go back to another play. Had a great time!

Went to see Madagascar tonight and it was fantastic! Highly recommend thia playhouse for your local entertainment. They work very hard and deserve more praise then what they get.

Play was decent but one highly offensive scene.

....Just saw a childrens production of Aladdin Jr, Great Show!This is a great place 4 youngsters to display their talents in a cozier setting! There is never a bad seat in the house & it has all the amenities of any larger production stage & a fraction of the cost!

We visited here for the first time last night to see 4 Klunkers and a Chevy for their NYE show. The show was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time and the performance had us in stitches the entire time.The playhouse itself is in an antiquated building, but its clear that caring people are involved to keep it going. I dont believe the facility could accommodate individuals who require a wheelchair (which didnt affect us but just an FYI for those it might).The show we saw I guess was in the smaller theater room (we did not get to see the main theater room) and seating was tight! Thankfully weve been to similar venues in the past so it did not bother us but some may feel a bit cramped.They offer a small selection of beer, wine, and soft drinks which we felt were reasonably priced for a theater setting. They offer a few snack items for food such as candy bars. It would be nice if they expanded on their food offerings, but we can see why that would be difficult given the limited space. The free popcorn was appreciated!We will definitely be returning for future productions!

This is a great community theater space! They always put on a good show and it seems like they have a lot of fun doing it!

Ive volunteered at the Mansfield Playhouse for going on 20 years now. Ive had some great experiences making new friends, co- volunteers and I see every play they put on... Its a WIN/WIN!! And its so nice to be appreciated for just giving a few hours of your time to such a talented group of local people. Happy 50th Anniversary Mansfield Playhouse!!! My granddaughter LOVE going there!!

Been here for plays and movies both. Neat old venue for community theater. If you see a show you like, its worth the visit.

Small local theater

The Mansfield Playhouse is one of the oldest continuously producing theaters in the state. It provides a place for local actors to show off their talent and local audiences to enjoy an evening out. The Playhouse has two performance areas. The main stage is where audiences will experience musicals, comedies, a Christmas show, and occasionally a thriller. The second stage is much more intimate and provides more cabaret style productions.

Great! Catch the play if you can... I didnt stop laughing!

Went to see The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This was our first time there and we loved it! Great play and nice theatre! We will be back!

Some plays are awesome to see! And some are not. Only thing I say that I have complain about is the seating. If ANYONE is tall in front of you, you best believe you can not see the stage what so ever!
