Awesome place for a leisure walk with your dog and/family.Paved walkways are wide enough for bikes to pass without worry.There are a few bridges crossing the Indian Creek where you can dip your feet in easy flowing streams. Even a rope swing for the more adventurous types.Benches offer rest along the trail. I saw almost no trash on my 3 mile walk.Make sure to take a water bottle for hydration- there are no water fountains.

This is a good park. It has a large playground for children, with one side for smaller kids and the other side for larger kids. There is a wonderful dog park and even a bathroom. The bathroom is always pretty clean and stocked with soap and paper towels. There is a large disc golf course and a beautiful walking path. The only down side to this park is some dog owners dont pick up after there dogs. I have seen dog poop left right on the walking path. Some dog owners also walk through the kids playground to get to the dog park, which you wouldnt think was a big deal but some of the dogs are not well behaved. Overall it is a good park, but could be great if some of the dog owners were more responsible with there pets.

Play group equipment could use some upgrading. The view and path is beautiful great if you play disc golf appears mowed regularly. Outdoor bathrooms were pleasantly clean. Overall great place to take the family.

Nice park,well kept up. Enjoyed playing the Indian Creek Disc Golf Course there. Main reason I was there. Definitely worth checking out sometime!

A huge playground near the Indian Creek greenway, dog park, and creek for wading. Lots of people, and no fence around the playground, but its at the end of a residential area, so not much traffic.

Love Creekwood Park Greenway! Mostly shaded right now in the late afternoon. Add a breeze and its almost perfect! Clean and well maintained. The playground remains closed due to covid19 but theres plenty of room for walkers and those that prefer bikes. Dogs are almost always on leash. If theyre not they are well behaved.

My pups love this place. They all give it 5 stars. Well, one gives it 3 because he wants there to be more dogs, but hes a hard-to- please brat, anyway. Dont listen to him.

This was an excellent walking place. We had to drive about 1 hour and 25 minutes one way to get there, but it was worth it!! It was a paved path that cut through woods on both sides. The scenery was beautiful and the autumn colors were just gorgeous! The Meet up group we joined was friendly and welcoming. I hope this is not the only time we can do this when we come to Alabama!!

We went to play disc golf. It alot of walking for sure. They have a dog park, kids playground, walking and bike trail, tables to sit and eat. Its a nice park. Good place to spend with family and friends.

It can be busy sometimes. When we went, the kids had a good time at the playground. I have enjoyed Indian Creek for quite some time now, so Id suggest families to check it out. Theres a dog park nearby, which is great. The disc golf course is legit, but you can lose discs if youre not keeping a close eye on your throw. Snakes are around in the summer time, too, so be wary!

Great dog park, but beware of people bringing their unfixed and/or defensive/aggressive dogs. The last couple of times we have been there, we’ve had dogs try to mount or flat out attack our dogs. Be careful.

Pretty park and trail connected. Lots of nature, and has a bathroom as well as picnicking area.

Well maintained park that includes a dog park area, kids playground, area to swim in the creek, disc golf course, lots of paved walking paths, and plenty of pokemon go stops. Highly reccomended spot to spend time outdoors.

Lovely walking and cycling along Indian Creek Greenway. Lovely pastoral setting along the creek and horse farms. Plenty of parking and a nice childrens playground. Picnic tables available. Very clean.

Safe and friendly with good parking options, a playground, and a dog park. However, the beauty has been diminished by construction, as has the quality of the disc golf course. The trail is also lined with vent pipes for the nearby sewer and it can smell quite bad during workday mornings when everyone is waking up and hitting the bathroom at the same time.

I loved the atmosphere I was able to sit and do my work. My sister was able to play and make me friends.

A great place for families with the nice playground, several pavilions, public restrooms, dog run, ~3 mile Greenway, and disc golf course.

Best dog park in the local area! They had a few pieces of agility equipment in the fenced off dog areas, which is great because most dog parks are just fenced areas! We had fun trying out the jumps and teeter board. This park also featured a really nice creek where my dog went swimming and cooled off. Love it!

Alot of space for the kids to play, clean and well kept. We really enjoyed it. Kinda scratching my head at the two folks who left the one and two star review of this nice free park....

We always love Creekwood. It has 2 large fenced in dog parks. They may be muddy if theres been a recent rain but our dog loves it. It features a long well paved walkway for bike riding, running and walking and it also has frisbee golf. Not sure about that but from what Ive heard its too notch!!

Good place to relax and unwind. The dog park is good too. Not the best place to go if its been raining tho because the park floods really easy.

Fun park, unless it has rained in the past week. Drainage is terrible, so a little bit of rain floors the whole park for days. But if its been dry, its lots of fun for the kids.

There are 2 different trails. Well maintained and paved walkway was scenic plus they mow large areas on each side of the walkway which makes it safer to see wildlife.

Great place to run, bike or rollerblade. 4 mile long (round trip) paved trail in one direction and 2 in the other. Has frisbee golf too.

Love it! Me and my girlfriend walk it all the time. Great for frisbee games and walking dogs or even a bike ride. Has a park for the kids and benches for the parents to watch em from.

For most part trail nice but several areas where the indicated walking side is almost crumbled totally off. There are NO trash barrels on the trail and people pick up their dog poop but will leave it sitting on the trail, throw in trees or leave it where it falls. When it rains water pools on the trail. No reason why trail is marked off three fourths for bikes when most on trail is walkers and runners. Bikers need to learn or use ON YOUR LEFT.

Great park. Lovely access to the creek. Always excellently maintained, with very usable bathrooms. Pavilions are in good shape, disc golf is well layed out, and a great and spacious dog park. With a good regular community of visitors, this park is one of Huntsvilles finest.

Loved it. Beautiful Park. Dog area was fabulous and the creek for the dogs and humans was outstanding!

Its not as big of a dog park as Im used to, but its definitely taken care of. Two separate sides: one area for small and one area for large dogs; both areas are the same size. Water is provided. Four spigots in front to fill up bucket. Toys are also there to play with. Three or four benches lining the fence in different areas.

I love going here. You can play Disk Golf, frisbee, go for a walk, skating, skate boarding, jogging, running, bring your dogs for the dog area or walk your children or pets. Walking in the creek or just wade or swim. Swing out over the water and jump into the deep area. Go fishing. Pop up a little tent for the day or a hammock between two trees. I pick up trash from the ground and from the creek. Theres also a play ground and park benches and tables and most importantly they have bathrooms. So much to explore and enjoy. Someone even donated childrens books for reading to someone special.

Why am I reviewing Creekwood Park? Yall know its ghetto but affordable.

A nice park with dog runs, playground, disc golf, and asphalt paths along side Indian Creek. Very nice ... when not flooded.

Nice playground for younger children (Id say 7 and younger). In a safe area with a nice walking trail. If you have a lot of kids and you need to be able to keep track of them solo you can see the whole play area from a bench. No shaded play areas though so Id recommend bringing a wide brimmed hat and sunscreen for littles.

This is a great park. There is a dog park with two fenced in areas, a great playground, and plenty of picnic sitting. There is also a disc golf course and a couple mile paved walkway.

Beautiful park. Great playground and dog park. Lots of trails, pavilion, and other things to do. We shot a set of family photos there. There was a frisbee golf tournament going on and a couple of family reunions. Nice place to visit. Do lot leave anything in your car that is visible. Lock things in your trunk. Theft has happened a few times.

Best place to run in the area. Safe and secluded from the business of Huntsville/Madison. You can see the creek almost there entire time. Incredible playground for the kids, and great field to play in as well.

Grandson loved it here. Wish they had more shade for the kids.

Took the dogs to the park. They loved it! There is lots of space for everyone to run around and meet new friends. There are buckets that you can fill at the dog wash station for fresh water to drink (or play in). The dog wash station has several hoses and is on a drained concrete slab so you can rinse your dogs if they got dirty.The Park has nice playgrounds for kids, nice walking trails and frisbee golf course.It’s a great place to go and exercise or relax on your own or with the whole family.

I love speed skating there and the people are wonderful.
