We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Confederate & City Cemetery, located in Lynchburg, VA. The well kept grounds displays their great attention to detail in maintaining gorgeous and various flower gardens, cottages, infirmary; and horse-drawn hearse & barn and stables. American History should always include both sides of a story regardless of who may or not be offended. It is HISTORY of ALL OF US!

Loved the site.so many lost so much on both sides and now they are trying to remove the history that is so very important to alot of forks. Go see everything while it is still there.Tell all the kids what realy happened.

A very somber place. From a dark time in our history.

Surrounded by hundreds of confederate gravestones this monument stands tall. A reminder of when our nation was split apart from the inside.
