It was peaceful. The squirels live it to Great neighborhood.

I took my 7 year old niece to the park so she could swing and play for an hour. She really enjoyed herself, especially after 2 more children came over and asked her to play with them. Later there were a few children that showed upto play, sadly they were not being monitored by an adult. My niece came and mentioned to me how they were behaving. I had to put down my book and watch even closer because the behavior was unacceptable. Eventually we left due to the unmonitored behavior.

The park used to be infested with drugs. Now the police have cleaned it up a lot its a great place for families.The public pool here is cheap and clean. The ball fields are well maintained and the basketball courts are always open in the summer.The reason for only for stars is that the bathrooms are filthy.

Its a nice park, right in the middle of the city. The only public pool in the city. It also has some really pretty plants and flowers.

Pool is nice and its a great way to entertain the kids. Snack bar is very reasonable.

Great Park to bring the family and enjoy cooking out, children playing or just to sit relax and perhaps read a book..... Unfortunately, there will be some undesirables with no regards to respect for anyone other than themselves, but otherwise its a very nice park!

It appears to be family friendly and safe. When I was there it was really clean.

Ive been going here all my life. Very nice park in the heart of Lynchburg.

A pretty good location for your children to play, to walk your dog or play basketball with some friends, not to forget the outside pool.
