Customer service was nice buuuut if its busy you practically have to watch tables and wait for one to open up and hope youre fast enough to get to one before someone else. There is no order. Due to Covid the menu is extremely limited so we just got 2 simple chicken baskets with fries. The bone in wings were mushy but also the fries and boneless wings tasted like Great Value frozen meals that were microwaved. There was no salt or seasoning in sight. Maybe just pick up some Wendys and eat in the car and just go for the games by the food was not it Employees were very nice tho!

Usually i would rate better but because of covid there were no chairs at certain games and i have two very bad knees so i couldnt enjoy the games i liked. But food was great, service slow. I received my appetizer with my meal and that is unacceptable. The winners circle has great stuff. Hope after covid restrictions things will go back to normal with chairs being at certain games.

We where overcharged on our bill, I informed our waiter Jenn and she assured me that she fixed it and everything was taken care of and I would not be charged for the drinks. She even printed me out a fixed receipt. A week later I was still charged for the drinks so I called Dave and Busters and spoke with the manger and he let me know that it would take 3-5 business days for the refund for the drinks to appear on my account. It was now been 3 weeks and I have yet to receive a refund. I feel my situation is being over looked and I’m being taken advantage of.

Great fun! My kids had a ball. The drinks were delicious as well. Service was great too.

Our server was amazing. She was friendly, fast, and very funny. The food options were limited but that’s expected I guess with COVID right now. My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday and let’s just say we were not disappointed. Well worth the money. In the game portion of this establishment, I didn’t see anyone going around cleaning but there were a limited amount of people and they did follow the social distancing guidelines in the restaurant part. The game selection was expected and at least they worked.

Great place. My kids had a blast. We spent over 3 hours here playing games. The food wasnt that good but we really enjoyed the. Variety of games. Plus won over 20000 tickets. Great place for older kids and adults.

Menu wasnt as good as other Dave & Busters we have been to.Potatoes were served cold.Our silverware was dirty..Brought new ones that were also dirty!!Ended up eating with plastic silverware!The best part of our meal was the Service.. A very sweet lady named Taylor Served us. She was excellent!

Our server was nice but this place has several issues. I have been to ell over 20 different DnBs...unfortunately, this is the worst experience I have ever had.- They messed the order up twice. We ordered pretzels, they brought out hot fogs wrapped in pretzel buns.- The daiquiri had huge chunks of ice and was watered down, strawberry mix and rum.- my wings we cold in the middle- They didnt have napkins...NAPKINS- half of the staff had their mask over their mouth but not faceTheir answer for everything, was we have a truck coming tomorrow.

Great drinks and food and perfect place for a team outing for work! We had one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. D&B is attached to Mall St Matthews, so there’s lots of parking. The games were a lot of fun, but we did run into a couple that wouldn’t work. The staff gave us extra tokens for the trouble though so that was nice.

Had such a good time here with my wife! We got a groupon for 25 bucks for two unlimited games passes, and then I had a free ten dollar gaming card from signing up on the email list thing. We had such a blast. Played until we got tired. The games are a really great selection for all ages. The place is so clean and new. Of course we went early on a weekday also, so there was basically no crowd at all. Cant wait to go back!

Fun to go here with a couple of friends, your kids, or on a date night. Some of the games are closed off for social distancing. Same old dave and busters its always been though!

This location is amazing! The selection of games is perfect and nothing is broken or out of order! Th bathrooms are clean and well kept, the bar is beautiful. This was our first time there but we will be back on a Thursday to taste the unlimited wings and play along with some drinks. I will update after. Our favorite game is he connect 4 basketball game. We’ve never seen that before and thought it was both fun and unique. So glad this place is here. We were getting tired of Main Event lol.

I have had a power card for 8 years from when I lived in Chicago and never went. I moved back to Louisville and we just got one this year. I. Know.. we slow lol... And I wanted to go with a friend and her grandson and the card still WORKING.. and we had a ball.

I took my boyfriend to the Shelbyville location, it was his birthday and he has never been to Dave and Busters; which I thought was totally crazy!!He loved the fact that he could watch sport games and music videos!We got the eat and play menu, he could not decide on what to get for his birthday dinner, he ordered 1 meal and after our waiter left; he saw another meal that he decided that he wanted to try. He was all over that menu!Then he saw the menu for the drinks and I normally do not allow him to drink when we are together; but being that it was his birthday. He chose the hurricane and he thought that it was good, friuty with a strong taste of the southern comfort bourbon.After dinner we went to go play the games. I walked him around and showed all of the games and he wanted to play some games together and he had a blast!I asked him if he that that was something that we could come back and do again together; and with the big smile on his face, he said yes.I even asked him, if he would consider going back with his brother and watch the games; instead of watching the game at home. He said that it was something that he would think about.So, thanks again for helping me to show my boyfriend that theres life outside of his house and we will surely visit that location again!!

Fun and games perfect for all ages. Minus two stars due to the fact that there is never a hostess and never an open table. Weve sat at the bar area twice and both times had to clean our own tables.

Love coming here every time i go to the mall i stop here after to play some games and have a drink.i haven’t had the chance to eat here because they get really packed .i love that its not like other places where the games are super expensive ill get a 20 dollars card and it will last me for a long time.

Great atmosphere, fun games and good food and adult beverages...whats not to like?

Food was pretty good when it finally came. My work team decided to celebrate one of our coworker’s birthday lunch here. It took more than 30 minutes just to get our drinks and nearly and hour to get the food. We were the only ones seated when we ordered and small family of 3 or so were the only other ones in the eating area by the time we ordered. The games were fun though.

Atmosphere is amazing!! Food quality is eh, mess hall quality. Management involvement and rebound of service was very much over the top. However, it took 28 minutes to receive our check. Will give them a second chance, but not anytime soon. Also do not ask for a togo SWEET TEA..YOU ARE TOLD NO TOGO drinks are allowed to leave the building THEN U SEE THIS

Not enough staff had to wait for service and then he never came back plus expensive to have to wait.

I give this restaurant 3 stars not because of the environment or food, but the service. Kiki was our server and she was not friendly. I hope her day got better

Service was good, really good. Beer selection is weak, needs more craft, and another 10 taps. Really loud, probably a little louder than necessary. More little children than I would have expected, considering the venue. I kind of expected a little bit more retro. Not a single pinball machine. The food was really good, pepperoni pretzel pull apart and buffalo chicken nachos were epic. St louis ribs were the bomb, pretzel dogs pretty good. Overall, a cool place, but I am disappointed in the lack of retro tech. The whole world is hiding in caves with piles of hoarded toilet paper right now because CNN says so, and that may explain the current clientele. We might try it again when Captain Trips Disease is over, unless we find somewhere more interesting.

Adult style Chucky Cheese, good food. Service was a little slow considering we were one of only three groups dining.

If the food was any good and if they had more non-gambling games, theyd get a higher rating from me. Decent prices on their alcohol, friendly staff, and an OK variety of games. Spent about $150 to play games and drink lightly for 2 adults for about three hours.

Super helpful staff, very friendly. Food was excellent and arrived quickly and accurately. Games didnt seem rigged at all a and my son walked away extremely happy with a gaming keyboard. Definitely a fun night for adults and kids alike.

Had an incredible first experience here. Such an amazing menu, the manager was very hospitable and made sure we had a great time. The bartender was quick, witty, and foresaw our dining needs before we had to ask. Front counter woman (passion) was very sweet and explained the layout.Coming back, for sure.

Good family fun. The place was exceptionally clean and all the games worked...except one (air hockey). Food and drinks were good too. Good meeting space for bigger groups.

Ive always enjoyed Dave and Busters as well as my family. Last night was no exception. The only thing that could have improved for us was the speed of service. I myself was a bartender for a number of years and understand you cant always be behind the bar. Yet you cant make a customer wait for a prolonged period of time. The service was great but the speed was a lacking.

I understand social distancing and how important that is. But they literally had 20 feet in between the only 2 tables they were allowing guest to sit at which for my son wasnt a table he could sit and eat then play games the table had no siding so he could run free and be distracted, and for an asd child that isnt a choice so when asking if we could use a different booth that was atleast 10 feet from any other guest or tables so we see decided to leave and when telling the waiter this he just snarled and walked off like he didnt care.... which the seats available were not very social dostan ed but the one that we needed was distanced from anyone. Sad a manager couldnt help us and make our experience better infect lousorvile is full of hateful people and I doubt Ill ever be back

Meh. Food was good. Service was not that great. Very short staffed. Took a long time between getting seated to getting someone to our table. Took a long time to receive any drinks,and when we did get them, the order was not right. Received steak nachos instead of chicken. By the time we got them we were so hungry we didnt care. Service was just slow all the way around. Probably wont go again.

My granddaughter loves Dave & Busters. She enjoys playing the games. Food is pricey, and not much quantity for the money. I usually only see one or two servers for the entire dining room. It takes quite awhile to get a drink refill. Even when they have eat and play its expensive entertainment.

Not too crowded due to COVID. Bring a mask, and some sanitizer.

Games were great - spent $45. Went to go sit at the bar area of the restaurant (the other side had a wait). There was only one booth left. The party prior left, but the table had not been cleared off. We sat and waited for 20 minutes. I finally got up and tracked down a waitress. Her response: “Well, we are short staffed. You’re more than welcome to sit there but it will be a while before the table is even cleaned off.” My brother has special needs and this was unacceptable. There was a table that sat down at the same time as us that that was served immediately. I get it that things happen and businesses are often short staffed but we should have been made aware of the staffing issue before sitting or ideally upon arriving at the front desk to purchase a game card. Won’t be back.

Games, sports, beer. Maybe you like that stuff.

The video games are amazing but the the food section is not so great. My waiter was nice but he had too many people to wait on. We tried to celebrate my sons first birthday and it ended up being a nightmare. Go play games and leave. Don’t bother with the food service.

Bobby is an excellent tech, he really knows what he is doing. He is very well trained. I will definitely be coming back.

Tons of different games to play and theyve got great items at the bar, even if they are a bit pricey. Very clean environment and facilities, and all games work well. I didnt run into any machines that didnt work after playing almost everything there.

Was playing a game of Beef Stews Ravioli Brain Mush when the arcade cabinet disassembled before our very faces. Luckily a nice game tech named Justin got out the hammer and nails and put in some real work. Thankfully we were able to spend our last tokens playing it. Would recommend to family and dead relatives!

Waiters were nice and attentive. The food was very good. A very nice place to eat. The games are fun, but you have to be prepared to spend some money if you want a lot of tokens, unless youre lucky.

My daughter and goddaughter went on a Saturday, it was busy..but to be expected. We found a booth, it was dirty, had to look around to ask a server to bus the table. My goddaughter went to play games and my daughter and I were going to order food and drinks. We waited for a waitress to come to our table, no luck. I saw the people in the booth around us get serviced. I asked the servers, and they said that it wasnt their area. We waited for 25 minutes for a waitress..we ended up leaving. I have been to Dave and Busters in Cincinnati and Opry Mills on a Saturday, it was busy, but we received great service. I asked to see a manager, never showed up..I go out a lot, understand when it gets busy..but this was ridiculous. Wont go back..Main Event here we come when there kids come.

This place is built around video games and the rewards of tickets that can be exchanged for prizes. It is overwhelming to me personally as the noise level is off the charts along with so many motion lights. Most kids will enjoy it and those of us that grew up in the arcade find it a little nostalgic. I would be remiss if I didnt mention the restaurant. Although the focus looks like gaming, the food is very good with unique flavor combinations that will have your pallet asking for more. Dont forget, they have party rooms for rent and can accommodate last minute plans to help you out in a bind when somewhere else falls through.

It sure is fun, but I went on a Friday night with my daughter and wow, is it expen$ive. You can RIP through $100 very quickly just playing video games. I just cant go back with games being this expensive. Perhaps for team building its great (when a company foots the bill) but for a family its better to stick to Chuck E Cheese because D&B will break the bank.

Perfect place for a fun afternoon. Food was good and staff attentive. We werent seated more than a min before our server was there greeting us taking our drink order. Plenty of games to choose from and make sure to go on Wednesday for half price games. Its a great value.

Finally our city got a D&Bs! Love it, great food, friendly staff, amazing games. Will definitely be coming back here for celebrations and fun nights out. If you havent been to one yet, totally come by here.

Listen. Our bartender Ben was AMAZING. He makes an AMAZING dirty martini. We did wait a while for our food, but the manager Monica was amazing with communication and made sure our food came out fresh! The steak salad was on point! Legit SO good! We had a blast playing games and drinking for our anniversary. we will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved the food and games. Here is the issue the dining area was so under staffed we waited for 45 min with nothing but menus and silverware when we did receive some type of interaction we receives soft drinks or water this person couldnt take our cocktail orders. Then another 15 min wait finally found the manager (which this guy was absolutely amazing) he tried to give direction and fix our issues well his staff again failed terribly no drinks then he returned took our order instructed his staff to fulfill drinks and now appetizers epic fail our server disappeared because the hostess sat her with to much when we flagged down A server drinking A soda she was absolutely TERRIBLE and Nasty she slurped out of her cup and walked over to her Tables. When our server finally made it back we learned she had asked co workers for help and A short time later we watched her ask for her and was basically scoffed at (mind you this wasnt A packed sold out house just her section) so they had plenty of opportunities to assist her. Well we get our orders taken we sit another 30 min with Empty cups our wonderful food comes out they have A stunning menu the in shift manager and very over seated server did everything to make it as wonderful as they could you could tell he was A young manager and A new server attending to us if they blatant disregard to management by other seasoned staff (Also 3 out of 4 meals came out of the kitchen so we had to wait for one of our party to eat) (and also I asked to see our ticket and her order was in) this would of been A 6 Star location it was really fun in the game area and A fantastic menu with amazing.food... Id be ashamed of this corp location or franchise because with all that has going for it would be the it place. Also the same staff had NASTY areas and our over worked server kept hers very nice. Id love to see A D&B response to my review. In the end the fantastic over worked manager gave us our meal and we loved our time in the game area you could have A 5 star location if you let the lazy and rude staff go and get people that would love to have the opportunity.

Dave and Busters is a very convenient location in St. Matthews. They have a variety in games. Getting a comfortable table took some initiative, but we received decent service from our server. Overall, good experience.

Had a good meal with a game card deal. Drank a couple beers as we played some games. Great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

Best for kids. Not so much for adults unless you love the sound of a casino. Food okay at best. Not a good value for drinks.

This place was fun game wise but I would advise you eat elsewhere before going to the arcade.The service was good (our poor server felt so bad despite it not being her fault what happened) but the food was poor quality AND pricey as well.I personally ordered the sirloin with vegetables and mash potatoes. When it arrived it was lukewarm to cold, the broccoli had a grand total of four small pieces and was roughly 4 tablespoons worth of mash potatoes . The steak was suppose to be an 8oz but was closer to 6 with 1/3 gristle.It totaled 18 buck and some change. Four dollars extra for a strawberry lemonade which was packed to the brim with ice.A friend of mine had ordered the ribs which arrived dry and tough. She had also ordered Brusselsprouts which were heavily burned.Another ordered a burger without cheese and it was cold and had cheese.Another ordered the salmon which arrived dry.Bout the only thing that arrived piping hot was the tater-tots.I will say the manager was super apologetic and gave us all unlimited cards to play as much of the blue (non ticket) games as we wanted.He comped the majority of our meals. Mine was not comped because I don’t like confrontations and did not speak up about mine and I was so hungry I ate mine anyways.All in all. Dave and Busters is “meh”.

Hosted an event here. Great space, wonderful food and lots of great games! They even helped us with a scavenger hunt for extra prizes. Our team all commented on how much fun this was. Well done D&B team!!!

My son likes going there for the games, and in that department there really isnt much to praise or pan.My issue was my experience with the food. We were seated and we went ahead and ordered food for my son while the adults decided what we wanted. He got his food quickly but then our waitress disappeared for 10-15 minutes.While waiting, we saw her serve a nearby table with a big party (around 10 people) but she never came to check on us in that timeframe. Eventually she did remember we were there, just as we were deciding to just ask a different hostess for our check.We got food, and the waitress said shed get us refills on water. However she forgot (her words) and she took two other trips to the big table before remembering we were there.All things considered, the experience was enough for us to never eat there again.

We had our company Christmas party here. The hospitality was wonderful and the food was delicious. We all enjoyed our time and look forward to visiting once more.

Newly opened location, opened early 2019. Have been twice and not disappointed either time. Compared to other D&B locations I have visited this one is a great addition to the family. Food was as expected both times: despite a slightly smaller games footprint they have a very good selection.Close proximity, within walking distance, to movie theater in St. Matthews mall is a great bonus as well.

Went today with some buddies. The chick behind the bar, Nicole was cool as hell. Her drinks were good and she was sarcastic, funny and sexy as hell. Her blue eyes will get ya! Will be back to see her. Can’t say anything about the food because we just drank. Games were cool.

As I came into the restaurant a manager with the name of Nicole helped me transfer points from a loss card. Which super nice to not loss those points!! Excellent service!! Also my servers name was Casey and even though the place was packed and her section was full she catered to our every need. She was fantastic. Also excellent service.

This place was AMAZING!!! I had trouble with my card and Taz helped me immediately. He was the best and made our time so fun! Will absolutely come again and HIGHLY recommend. And you MUST do the virtual reality!! That was a highlight!

We have held several corporate events here. The management is always very accommodating and the atmosphere make for great casual interaction with coworkers! Love the VR games!

Service bad, prices horrid, drinks bad, food pretty good, appetizers late, 1 hr to sit....

Terrible - was there to celebrate my daughters 7th birthday just mother daughter time ...was seated for 15 min before a waiter even acknowledges us asked for our drinks. Then another 7 min before we even saw her again and still didnt have our drinks. We were one of 5 families there at the time. I took my kid and left and went to Chuck e cheese. Would rather spend my money on generic pizza and piddly games than at a place that clearly didnt value me as a customer.

Taco buffet was fair. Items not set up in the correct order (nacho cheese at the beginning, chops at the end). Employees nice. Didnt get a chance to play the games but lots of them.

My family and I travel as much as possible and we always go to every Dave and Busters possible. We visited this location on our way down to Nashville and on to Florida, from Ohio . We have always enjoyed every one weve seen but this one was fantastic. We love the layout and how open it feels. We understand how massive some of the locations are and can appreciate all the staff does having so much ground to cover and still maintaining to do a great job. We will definitely be back to this location on our trips anytime we are nearby. We love the food. We love the drinks. My family and I have always said that Dave and Busters is an experience not just a restaurant. Thanks again Dave and Busters.

When myself and my friend came in for wings tonight, it was busy but found a seat in the bar area. Casey was phenomenal and the manager, Nicole was amazing. You can tell that she really cares about her customers experience. The food was good and hot. The games were fun. We will be back.

Everything about our experience was fantastic! I reserved a private room- the Belle Room for a small group. The room was great, the food was great, the drinks were great and we had great attention from our waitress all night long. Highly recommend!

The visit started off a little shaky because it took a minute for the server to get to us. Once she did, the visit was very pleasant. The kids had a lot of fun. Food was good. The manager was very polite and accommodating. She gave us some free game play for the next time we come when we purchase a 20 dollar card. We will definitely come back. My husband and I want to try the VR ride.

Will not be returning here. Food was not delicious in any way. The games were basic. No flavor in the food and expensive as well for the quality.
