Awesome park much too see and do bicycling trails are great, kid friendly park. Great place to picnic and enjoy a day outside make sure to travel all the way back to the other side of the park...
Great space for a get together. Enough room for social distancing and fun. The children, and adults, loved the climb to the top of the silo. The view was great.
Been waiting all summer for the silo to reopen (Covid), totally worth the wait! Excellent view!
Great 360° view up the silo! Should revisit during fall
I just moved back to Louisville after 22 years in California (SF Bay Area) and discovered this treasure, The Louisville Loop is one of the best trails I have been on. The Bay Area constantly brags about how it should be the model for everything - well boys - Louisville should be the model for bike trails! Get out and enjoy this thing there is not one bad spot on it. The silo was also fun and had a great 360 view.
This is without a doubt one of the best things to happen to Jefferson County in quite some time. I have long admired the beauty of this part of Jefferson County; having grown up nearby, I had always driven through and loved the country feel. The best view that you could really get of the landscape was by looking out the window as you started descending the hill on Seatonville Road right after the Billtown Road intersection. I always enjoyed that view, but now we finally have an elevated lookout where you can safely view the area 360 degrees. The view is truly spectacular and I have been there countless times to relax and enjoy the view.Aside from the Silo, there are two different areas that have poster like boards that inform you about the history (one is beside the silo, the other where the restrooms are). The information and history you can learn right there is really cool and unique to the area. Finally, theres the barn. I believe this can be rented out, and it looks like it would make for an awesome venue. The Parklands of Floyds Fork is an unsung hero for the conservation of the southeastern/eastern portion of Jefferson County from Fern Creek up towards Eastwood. I feel as if the Brown-Forman Silo in Turkey Run is the heart of the park system. It feels like the hub for some reason, and from there you can quickly get to other cool spots the park has to offer while enjoy the great views en route.
Awesome trails and bike park
A nice scenic stop along the Loop. Dont trust it as a water stop, though. Ive been sick twice after refilling here. I now go to the next stop for water while cycling. Not sure what the problem is, but be warned.
This is an amazingly beautiful place.
This silo is exactly as advertised. It is a large silo with about 34 billion steps spiraling up the inside. The view at the top is beautiful.
Such a beautiful place. Quiet...walk at your leisure. Great bike trails...so something for everyone.
Nice experience, beautiful view, easy stairs to climb, was very windy today, but well maintained park. With Picnic area and good facilities and plenty of parking spaces family really enjoyed this
Love this area. Great for a nice quiet picknik with the family or alone. Great trails also.
I have a great mountain biking experience every time I go.
Awesome trails! Nice and flowy with so.e technical areasLove it!
Beautiful location! No heat/air conditioning in building.
Nice trail walks for exercising.
Very nice park and great place to walk and visit. Clean and great views.
It was a lot of fun, very busy and popular place. I didnt climb the spiral staircase to the top of the silo because Im afraid of heights and my Lupus wouldnt allow me to climb that many stairs anyway. There is like 140 steps just going up not including coming back down.
This place is realistically a 6 star review. The Parklands Park all-round is phenomenal and probably the best thing to happen to Louisville in a very long time. This section features the bike park which is amazing but it also hosts a couple of buildings which are often used for private events. Parking is very sparse and with these events makes this location virtually useless unless you are willing to ride or walk about 5 miles to get there
Very nice peaceful setting. This was my first time going, I would definitely go back to experience more of the large park.
Very unique (and little known) feature in our local park system. From the remnants of this lands former life, a silo was preserved and made available to visitors. Stairs lead up to the top for a fantastic view of the surrounding terrain. A local must-see, IMO.
This place is amazing. Everything about it is 5 star worthy. The bike trails and bike park are perfectly built and well taken care of. Ill be going to the bike park a lot for sure
Love this place! Had a party here and the park was absolutely beautiful. Renting the facility was easy and the Parklands are very accommodating. Highly recommend hosting an event here.
One of many treasures of The Parklands, take day and get out amongst it. Id list this as moderate due to the number of steps to the top. I took off attacking them on a hot steamy day, ill advised. Even if not in best shape take your time and use the several landings on your way to the top. Just Do It!
Had a good time renting the covered area for my sons birthday. The place was well taken care of however I do wish the price was a tad bit less. $180 for a few hrs is a little pricy imo. Had fun though.
The entire Parklands at Floyds Fork is just one of the best parts you will ever visit. I would imagine its really going to put Louisville on the map. Of course, The Silo Center itself has some of the best mountain biking Ive ever experienced.
Awesome place to have just miles from downtown. A true gem.
Scenic! Nice place to walk around at.
AMAZING views from the silo, water park is great for the kids, grasslands are full of beautiful wild flowers. Its a great place
Beautiful place but I dont understand why you need a permit to take photos
The Parklands is an Awesome place to visit, and the view from the silo was outstanding
Very clean, very cool use of silo as a viewing tower, app. 60 to 70 feet high
I would say it is a wonder to see you must go an enjoy the view from the silo..
My happy place
Super fun. Family friendly. No pets allowed in the silo, but pretty views.
Absolutely love this spot! Great for all sorts of activities!
Great place for the whole family to get away and feel like youve went hours away when youre only minutes away
Climb the stairs to the top of the silo. Beautiful view!
What a great park system. It is good for walking, running, biking and hiking.
Beautiful view if you dont mind walking up a few steps.
Just come see it for yourself you will not be disappointed
Great place for a wedding!

Noc walking trails and very clean park.
Great place to Mountain bike and hike.
Great place for a picnic after a hike!
The Parklands is the best!
Great!
Beautiful park for biking, hiking, or pinics
Beautiful overlook
I love it
Beautiful
Good for dates!
Great place to take the family.
Great place, just cant enjoy the park for all the dam bikers, seriously they come flying down hills 20plus miles an hour and inches from you on the path, bikers complain about their lives and rights when on the road from cars, so to those in the park this applies to think about how a walker feels when you come speeding past, maybe they dont realize that I dont know, I have nothing against bikers just careless people
Awesome view
Loved it
