Not a big fan of their current hours, but they make up for it with a decent collectibles selection and comics. The staff are knowledgeable and polite. Would highly recommend.

The best comic book shop in town. We come here every Wednesday for the new releases. They host different events periodically, make sure check them out. They are also pet friendly! Of course, if they are behaved well enough.

Pretty good comic selection. Nothing super rare or hard to find but if youre just a casual comic enthusiast its a great place to pick up a couple things to read. Little difficult to navigate through the comics how they have them setup, if youre looking for something specific be ready to spend an hour or two searching. Staff is really friendly and polite, happy to answer questions. They do have a few other odds and ends as far as collectibles goes too.

Everyone is friendly and ready to strike up a conversation about the latest release or the strangest release. My best friend lives in Los Angeles and makes it a point to visit the Destination everytime he comes in town! Keep up the exceptional work!

Friendly staff and a great comics/toys selection! I dont play card games but apparently they have a big back room and host various card games (pokemon, Magic: the Gathering, ect.).

One of the best comic shops I have ever been to! The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I need more comics for my classroom and wanted to make sure they were school appropriate. They not only made shopping easy but my students were thrilled with what I brought in. This is the only place I go for comic books!

This store is amazing! Its not huge, which I like. A very cozy place, with an awesome staff. Its locally owned and all of the employees are super knowledgeable about the merchandise. Ive bought a ton of collectibles from them. They will order anything that you want and can get their hands on, if its not in stock. They offer a military discount and they love when you bring your fur babies in to shop with you.

Hello. First, I have a response to the guy waiting a long time without being given assistance. Dude, if you are waiting as long as an hour without asking for help, isn’t that partially your fault for not asking? These guys are not the type to refuse to try to answer questions. They will answer your questions and even laugh and play around with you if you are the fun seeking type. I know that these guys have also donated several comics to be used with needy students at local schools. So, they are also a charitable group. I’ve been to this store several times. Sometimes, comic owners have the assumption that you know what you are looking for especially if you are looking that long without asking. I’ve never been to a comic shop and been greeted with, “How may I assist you today?” Owners typically don’t bother you until you ask, because some people get frustrated when they are asked questions and have a desire for privacy. The destination has the friendliest staff of any comic store in Louisville. Their comic selection may not be the best, but they are a relatively new shop with a focus on selling a variety of items including toys. So, it may not be fair to expect a huge selection of comics yet. And since they are new to the business, they might still be learning about running a shop. They get a grade of 10/10 from me for now.

The Destination is a breath of fresh air for Louisville-area comic book stores. The shop is clean and organized and they have a great selection of new comics, trades, toys, and some statues. The shop owners are quirky, super personable and helpful. Great guys who not only support local comics, but also represent pop culture and collecting quite well. Employees very nice. If you are into comics then this is the place to go. If you are looking for a game shop for board games then there is a small selection . There were no role playing materials l. At the back of the shop there is a small room with a couple tables and chairs. They didnt have what I was looking for however the staff was helpful and happy to answer questions none the less.

Thursday nights is board game free play here and a ton of events on the weekends. The owner is a super great guy and makes everyone feel welcome without being sales-pushy.

I can easily say this is the best store for comics/collectibles in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area! Comics, Trades, Hot Toys, Pops, Action Figures, Statues... you can find it all here!!The store is very clean and well lit, with plenty of room to shop, along with great displays and fun decor. As soon as I walked in today, the updated New Variants section immediately caught my eye. I really love the new comic book themed letters and signage used for the section!The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the guys here are more than just knowledgeable, they are fun to talk to and make a genuine effort to get to know you personally. They will go out of their way to learn what you like, and help you get something even if its not carried in the store.Never a bad experience!!!

My wife and I are from out of town (Cleveland) and after Googling comic book stores near me, we went to The Destination. The 2 gentlemen that worked there were extremely friendly and polite. The shop itself had everything a comic fan or collector could want. If Im back in Louisville, Ill definitely stop back. Congratulations on their 3 year anniversary.

Not much of a street presence. Didnt even know this was here until an event at it. They have a great selection of games comics and figures. They have gaming tables in the back and a projector. The bathroom is clean and well kept. Friendly staff.

The big bearded man (Mitch) knows a ton about Marvel and Image Comics, hes not bad when it comes to DC either. Great selection of toys and art. Its a pretty new shop so there isnt much back stock to hunt through. Really clean and friends which puts them way above the other comic shops Ive been to in Louisville!

There are many stores in town for comics, games and collectibles but NOT like this place. The layout of the store is very cozy, professional, and welcoming and the staff there is great! The display in this place is flat out cool. I picked up a Hot Toys: Vision character and was well educated on instructions, insights, sales, popularity, pre-orders, etc. This is the ONLY store in town that carries Hot Toys. They also have a rewards program counting towards future figures that I do plan to purchase, great store, great atmosphere, one of a kind!

I stopped by this shop while on vacation in Louisville. While it isnt very large, they have a lot of cool stuff including statues, action figures, and of course comic books. The guys running the place were really cool and are clearly lovers of geeky stuff. Of the three shops I visited in the area, this one was the best.
