I love this place. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are super friendly.If you need an idea for girls night, here ya go!And they do kids bday parties.This is a thoughtful location for some creative fun.

The painting we chose was difficult and I felt extremely rushed by the instructor to finish. The instructor also kept getting frustrated when questions were being asked.All in all we had a good time as we were a group of 5. We were able to relax and enjoy our paintings.

Great place for a date night or friends night out. It takes time to go from a blank canvas to a masterpiece, but its well worth it. There are multiple locations, but our favorite is the Bardstown Rd venue!

Prices are reasonable and the staff is very nice and helpful. You can paint at your own pace and deviations in the final design is encouraged.

This wasnt a bad experience. I went here for the couples painting class. This was definitely a place for a certain niche of people. But that isnt the point. The paint set up was alright but the bottles quickly ran out which caused you to have to wait or have someone get it later. The tables set with the easels were a bit small. Considering the amount of paint and space needed to mix the colors was a bit lacking. The number of people there was probably 75% full and I felt cramped. The main instructor was fairly knowledgeable and skilled which I appreciated. The guy walking around was very critical when this was supposed to be a fairly free form independent class and session. The view from sitting to see the instructor wasnt bad and probably manageable from most spots in the room. The music played in the background was top. Not sure if its always classic rock but it was that evening which was great. Though at times it was a bit overpowering to where I couldnt hear the instructor. I personally didnt have any beverages so I cannot comment on that. Overall I did enjoy the experience and would recommend the place.

They offered a Girl Scout event which was Awesome! The paint subject, vase of flowers, wasnt as motivating as something else little girls might like. My daughter wished it were a unicorn it mermaid, something we had seen on their website.But the women doing the event were really great.

This was my first visit to Uptown Art. The studio is pleasant. Wine and other beverages are available. The class I attended was holiday cookie decorating. I learned a new decorating technique from the instructor showing a video, but most of it was working independently. I would have liked the teacher to circulate more and give more instruction. Classes for painting a canvas seems to be their specialty.

I didnt want to go here at first because its located in the Highlands, and I hate driving there or trying to park. However, the ladies were very friendly and helpful with our group. We had a group event, and our instructor really helped us all out. There was actually a parking lot in the back. Im thinking of going back with my cousin and her little girl and taking my niece for a kids painting day.

So much fun great place to go by yourself or with friends.

Uptown Art is always so fun! My husband and I enjoy doing this together. It is also a great place for friends to go and parties. Check it out!

This was so much fun and I cant wait to do it again! Emily was great and we laughed a lot!

The staff is friendly and helpful, however our teacher went super fast. And the brushes we were given reminded me of what you were given in art class at school. They were bushy and worn. That made it super hard to do any kind of fine detail, it actually made it Im for q beginner. That made me feel like I was wasting my money. After a few failed attempts at any detail, I just left it how it was and left. I doubt Ill go back but if i do i will definitely bring my own brushes.

Always helpful with newcomers. Dont be afraid to try it! Great time by yourself or with friends!

Enjoyed my experience painting

Had fun, but when we checked in the girl sent us to the wrong area & by the time we figured it out it was too late and we had paid for the $40 paintings so we had to ask for our money back. They should pay more attention because we were disappointed.

This was a fantastic class, flexible, helpful, with great attitude. My daughter and I really loved it! Well be back.

Update : They no longer have free snacks during intermission.Great place for a date night or a girls night out. Ive been here for both. Im not a good painter but they make it so easy that you cant fail. I love the little snack bar they have. The only negative thing is they dont offer promo codes often enough.

I thought it was top notch. Ive never even picked up a paint brush and my final work was passable. Of course, with this being my first foray into painting, my expectations were low. Since I didnt expect too much, I found it relaxing. Anna was a treat as an instructor and her instrux were easy to follow.

I am far from an artist and up until last night I really enjoyed going to Uptown Art. They have made changes and no longer offer complementary snacks. The paint brushes were terrible. The instructor had a bad attitude who was more into her painting instead of helping the class. The painting was too detailed for this type of thing it ended up being 4 hours long and was rushed out the door.

My wife really enjoyed this place. Everyone was friendly and helpful

Nice place to go for either a girls night or a date night. They have a good small selection of wines and beers you can choice from to buy to enjoy while you paint. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can even book a small private event .

Had a blast painting the wine glasses. Some of the group painted wine bottles. This is the 2nd time Ive been there and it was just as fun as the first. If you havent done this it is a true must.

Already loved this place. Theyve made some changes for the better recently (except they no longer sell wine by the bottle). Fun time!

Booked a large private party here. Everything was great. The staff were amazing and very accommodating to our group! And our art teacher was super kind and helpful!

First time attending a class here and really enjoyed the experience! Will be back!
