Lot of fun. Went with a work group. I wish I had more time. Ill bring my kids in the future. I think they can handle most of the games on the lower levels... And now that I know the rules of how to play.

I am so glad that I found out about Activate through a discount offered to JCPS employees and families. Thank you for extending this offer. The entire experience from booking to turning in my locker band was well organized and welcoming. Everything was totally safe and socially distanced.

The place is awesome! All of the games are so much fun. It was a great way to bond with family and friends. I would go back every time I visit Louisville. You can get quite the workout if you play hard enough.

This place is great for families, couples, and groups of all kinds. Interactive fun that literally keeps you on your toes. My husband and even love coming without the kids. Wed love it if there was a membership option.

This place is so awesome and fun! I visited with my teenage daughters and we had a great time! There are changing rooms and lockers. The wristbands are very comfortable and easy to use when activating the games. We played for 75 minutes and loved every second of it! There is a big variety of games with various levels. Some of our favorites were Lasers, Trench, and Hoops. We will definitely be back!

This facility was nothing short of amazing. With so many different rooms and level of game play you are assured to never get bored. My son and I havent had this much fun! Its both physically and mentally challenging. We cant wait to go back!

We loved this. It was fun for our 10 year old and for our 13 year old and our 17 year. Our kids all want to come back and try it with friends.

Our family LOVED our experience at Activate! Great exercise and cooperative gaming. We took our 3 boys (ages 14,8, and 5) and they are all begging to go back! The only thing that would make this place better is a subscription option! We felt totally safe during the COVID experience.

I went to activate yesterday for the first time and there is not one part of my body that is not sore today! We had enough time to make it through all the rooms and then some. I love that each game has at least two different ways you can play it so it literally doubles your options. The staff there was amazing and very friendly. I definitely got a full body workout that was incredibly fun. I am already planning my next visit.Also with everything going on Covid wise it was very social distance friendly which is an added bonus!

The games were so much fun. Our whole family had a lot of fun (parents and kids both). It combined physical activity with a video game type experience. I highly recommend it.

Been here multiple times - both with large business groups and small friends/family - and every time it’s a success!It’s a fun, unique way to spend time together and get out of the house, and there’s so much to do and so many games to play. BEST thing we decided to do on our trip!! The kiddos absolutely loved all the games, but out most favorite was hide!! We loved the interactive play as well as the workout we got together as a family!! We were told to keep our phones in an assigned cubby, so we couldnt take pictures of our own, however they do have a free picture station that emails you pictures of your group. We have talked about just going down for a quick trip to visit again!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Ive now been to Activate twice, and each experience was fantastic! The employees all clearly love their jobs and are excellent. Be ready to get a full workout in here as its an extremely active gaming experience. The perfect balance of challenging and exciting!

Wow, This was so much fun. I’m so jealous that this is not in the dmv area. We went with a group of 6. We split into two groups of three and explored all the rooms. Each one was different and fun and it’s own challenge. After twenty mins the time went fast in such a blur.There were so many more version and levels. We barely scratched the surface!!I can’t wait to try it again. I just don’t know when I will be able to since I don’t live here :(

A huge amount of fun! A couple game rooms will wear on yours knees but thats the only negative I can think of at the moment. Its also a great workout.

Very disappointed to see other players/guests not wearing masks while outside the lobby/open area before going to each rooms . With the pandemic, I dont find it safe touching different activities and not being sanitize after each use. Its good for other arena that doesnt required touching like the laser but the rest is very concerning.

Loved it! We will be back. The only negative was lack of info. We walked in around noon and they gave us a quick tour but didnt mention it was online reservations and card payment only. That would have been helpful when taking the tour earlier in the day.. we were still able to get in and play but that could have gone another way... also when we left we got online to see how the reservation part worked and we could have gotten 50% off.. they didnt mention that eirher... overall, FUN place. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing! Such a fun and creative idea! This is a great activity for older children up to adults who are still able to crawl and move. We went for an adult birthday party and had a blast. It does take a time through to understand some of the games the first time. It was easier to understand playing the games a second time through. There are plenty of games though and we could probably go a second time and play mostly different games. I think an ideal group size would be 4 if couples or 5 if just friends but larger groups are fine as well, you just have to split up and play different games.

This was our first time at an experience like this, and we went as a family with peopme ages 47, 44, 17 and 13 years so quite the spread! Your initial purchase gets you 75 minutes of game time, and youre able to roam the entire facility.We tried all the games and modes at least once with all of us having different favorites. The best game for us was Hoops Trivia, but the kids enjoyed Climb and the Grid.When you enter, you are given a bracelet that is tied to your personal account, and you scan this bracelet at the entrance to every game. When all your players scan in, you hit Start and are then prompted to enter the game room. It is all fun and hilarity from there (except when your teenagers decide youve messed up).One of the things I appreciated most about the facility is the cleanliness despite a huge number of people coming and going and the personal locker. I love the lockers!! One person in the party gets a blue bracelet, and the lockers are opened by scanning the bracelet. They are spacious and easily held a bag of water bottles, 3 purses, all our coats, keys, phones and wallets.A great way to spend the afternoon, and Ill happily come back to keep earning points and stars!

We were there for my husbands birthdays and it was an amazing experience!!

I took my wife and oldest son (9yrs old) and we had a great time. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a really fun time with friends or family. The games were a blast with varying degrees of difficulty (you choose the level of difficulty 1-10). The cost is $25 per person and you need to go with a group of at least 3 people. You cant have more than 5 people per game at one time so if your groups is larger than 5 then youll just have to take turns playing with reach other. You scan your wristband with the others you are playing with to start playing and if another group is in there already then you it will tell you when they are done so you can go in. Games last about 2-3 minutes so you dont need to wait long if another group is in there already. There are about 10 rooms, each containing a unique setup geared towards certain games. Some rooms have up to 4 games you can choose from. I worked up a sweat playing the games and you can play so many games as you can/want in 75 minutes. Each time you scan your wristband for a new game it will tell you how many minutes you have left to play and what your previous high score was on that game. This was an awesome activity and I will for sure be back. If you want to just have fun and dont care about score then kids age 5 or 6 should be fine, but I think 8 or 9 would be the cutoff if you are very competitive like me and want to get high scores.

So much fun! Can’t wait to go back and take more friends and family so they can check it out too! Unlike anything I’ve ever done before, behind every door was something different & totally unexpected. Staff was very friendly as well!

Wow! My group had so much fun here. The variety of games and different difficulty settings made the experience very personal and adaptable. We especially enjoyed Trench and Lasers. The staff was super friendly and helpful in explaining how the games worked. The lockers made it very easy to store any belongings. Another cool aspect is the wristbands, which allow players to track their points during the games. I was impressed by how easy it was to move room to room. We will definitely be returning in the future!

My childs face says it all. I really enjoyed our time at Activate and look forward to many more return trips!

Went to Activate Games with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised with the selection of games and levels. The games were challenging and tested the group’s ability to communicate/cooperate. Jordan was very helpful to our group. She aided us in gaining stars and explaining the games to us. She made our experience worth it and because of her my friends and I will definitely return. 12/10 recommend Activate Games.

I have never been so impressed by an establishment before. The professionalism and kindness that I received from the employees surpasses any expectation I could have possibly had. Activate is a great work out where the employees make you feel like family, not just a customer. Teddy made our experience one I would recommend to anyone who would listen.

Itll get physical (physical ), leave your sweater in the locker.Activate- it was fun, mini challenges. No game was the same except for a super version of one; and there was enough variety and difficulty that it makes you want to try them over and over. Customer service was great. When there was a game that was malfunctioning, the staff was quick to respond to get it working.The actual place was clean and roomy! The gaming environment uses a futuristic lighting style ala tron and also a robot narrator voice that takes your experience to another level. There is a lot of changing lights, so if one is prone to developing a migraine due to light sensitivity, take precaution. The actual games dont take long to complete so the queue and wait is short enough to not make you want to walk away.The games work with any group size but some benefits bigger or smaller groups better. I thought it was just gonna be all physical but there is a couple of games that require more of a mental concentration than a physical one.The two downsides Ive experienced is: 1. Sometimes, youll encounter a group that wouldnt leave the room in time before your game (too much fun?) so then youre forced to do the game with them still in the room- slightly awkward situations of instant extra group coordination. 2. The instructions for some of the games arent the clearest- but once youve done it, you get the idea then try again.I could definitely see this as a good team building retreat for companies.A new place, a different offering compared to the usual retro arcade and adult arcade with extra offerings and laser tag found in Louisville.

An excellent way to spend competing with friends or family. Laser maze is my favorite, made me feel like a secret agent. The matching games are really fun and makes you wanna replay over and over. I feel like I got my workout for the weekend while playing super grid. Will definitely be coming back to try get my score up. Best new place in Louisville to have fun.

I drove 8 HOURS to play activate and it was well worth it! A wonderful way to get moving and let the stress of the week roll under some lasers and fly through some hoops. Tucker, Evan, Nate and Zach rock!! Will definitely come back. Good talk, gotta go- theres a long drive home.

Awesome place! Came here with my brother and a friend and it was a blast. All the room are pretty unique. Pipes was my favorite because everyone need to work together to do well and Push is seriously addictive. Staff was all very welcoming and energetic, Nicole checked us in and she was awesome! Definitely will be back.

This. Place. Is. Freaking. Awesome. I had so much fun. 75 minutes is the perfect amount of time. The Trench room was my favorite, having to shoot targets and dip duck dive and dodge to get to the other side of the trench. I want to do this every weekend!!

I wasnt sure what to expect, but it was great! There are about 10-12 different rooms, each of which has anywhere from 1-5 games, and each game has several different levels. Suffice it to say, you could return dozens of times and never run out of activities. My family loved the climbing activity in particular, but the basketball trivia and laser mazes are awesome too! Highly recommend.

Great for kids. So much fun. I recommend the grid, hide and hoops for kids. The trench and laser were kind of difficult for the 4 and 5 yr old. The was well worth the money. It was so active and fun. Also great for date night

Went with my mother in law and husband for my husbands birthday. Did not really know what to expect but we had a BLAST. Great price for the time you get and we had so much fun! Highly recommend. Would also be a great team building activity.

If you go once and then come back to Stars you had before stay. All the games are fun and good for all ages. I could go there for hours and never leave. I would suggest going there with your kids to have lots of fun.

Activate is the best family activity we’ve done in years! When extended family visited for Christmas, with ages ranging from 10 to 49, we decided to try it out. Every person in the group LOVED it! We can’t wait to play again. The games are challenging without being too difficult, physical without being strenuous, and require just the right amount of logic and thinking skills. We’ve never seen anything like this before! Love, love, love it!!

So I’ve been to activate 3 times now, and I can say without a doubt that I really enjoy this place. First off, the staff are all super nice and friendly. I feel very comfortable walking up to any of them if I have any questions or issues with any of the games. Overall, very helpful and informative (special thanks to Nicole for being a great manager). Plus, lockers are super nice and secure with plenty of space. Second, the games are really fun, engaging, and get the body moving. Trench, laser, grid, super grid and climb being my favorites. There are a few bugs that need ironed out (namely with climb having the blue lights missing sometimes) but they were infrequent and didn’t stop most of these games from being fun. Pipes is probably my least favorite but I feel like there is a good idea there that could use a bit of fine tuning, namely with how strict the time limit is. Overall, for still being in its opening weeks to work out some kinks, it’s still a blast to come by with friends and have a good time. Can’t wait for more levels, games, and challenges!

This place is AWESOME! We came here as a group of 6 and played in 2 teams of 3. The games are so much fun and there’s tons of variety (different ways to play each room, multiple levels). Definitely got a good workout in. The facilities are really nice and clean. The staff is super friendly! 75 mins was the perfect amount of time, and definitely worth $25.

We took a large group (17 people) here for New Year’s, ranging in age from 12-50. Everyone had a great time...the games were physically challenging but accessible, and each group/team found their favorites that they wanted to Level Up in. Be prepared to sweat and have a fun time together. Highly recommend, and look forward to returning for another go sometime soon.

I had a great time on Christmas Eve with my in-laws. We were a group of five which was the max for the games so that worked out well. I suggest wearing athletic clothes and long pants since some of the activities require crawling. I highly suggest! Great staff!

Took my high school class on a team building and problem solving field trip to this business, and they were amazing. Very responsive staff from when I sent the first inquiring email all the way up to the employees who ran us through the event. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place for a physical, fast paced exercise in working together.

Definitely worth the $25. Burned a ton of calories and had lots of fun with the family. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Super clean. Dress light - youll be sweaty! Definitely coming back soon.

We had a group of 13 that came in to Activate around 9:20pm. Even though they closed at 10pm, they accommodated us and gave us the full 75 minutes of play (the normal amount) which was awesome. The cost was $25 per adult.We were told this is the first location in the United States (the other is in Winnipeg). It’s such a unique and interesting concept and our group had a blast.The venue is separated into smaller rooms that each have a game within. Each game only accommodates 3-5 people at a time, so if you have a larger group, you’ll need to split off into smaller teams. You’re given a wristband that you tap to enter each game room, and you select the level you want to play for the game (it’s suggested you start at level 1 so you can understand each game’s mechanics).Because we went in the evening, no one else was there and we had the whole venue to ourselves without having to wait for other groups to finish in the game rooms. I suggest making a reservation, especially if you have a large group.I highly recommend this location as a place to have some fun with friends, but also team building for small/large groups.

This place is amazing. Every game was unique and challenging going in its own way. We came with an adult group. We will definitely bring our kids here because they will enjoy as well. Make sure you dress in cool comfortable clothes, as your BP gets going quickly. They re working tonight the building cooler also. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

My wife, daughter and I had heard about Activate from family, but it wasnt until a friend said they had a blast that we needed to schedule right away. AMAZING. No matter if you have kids, going on a date, or going the team building route it has something for everyone!! You can challenge yourself mentally and physically and it goes without saying Activate is one of a kind. Thank me later.

This was the most fun I’ve had it a long time! I wasn’t expected the workout, but loved it. I also like how the games were mind stimulating! Staff was nice and friendly. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for all the crawling and climbing you will do.

This place is great! The only way I know to explain it is by comparing it to Tron. Its like playing a video game, but youre in the video game. An absolute blast. Great exercise if you play hard and a great team building exercise.

Really fun minigame zone with a Tron-theme. You can very easily work up a sweat and burn some calories as you enjoy the games, which all have elements that require physical exertion to some degree. Loud electronic music accompanies each game and really gets your blood pumping.

Had a blast playing!Hosts were very friendly and explained how to use the bands and how to get into each room and how the scores worked.Will definitely be back and bring family and church groups.

Finally got to pretend I was a spy and get past lasers! I had a great time at Activate Games! The games were interactive and kept my attention plus gave me a bit of exercise. I played all the games on level 1, which I would recommend the first time through. It take a bit to understand how some of the games work so make sure you read the directions before entering the room. I would absolutely go back for more fun!

Incredible experience! We were a group of adults and enjoyed it incredibly. Works your mind and your body for sure! One suggestion to the higher ups, provide some visual feedback about the rooms you are entering. Some of the rules are a little hard to follow if you have no idea of layout/setup of the room your are entering for the first time, but that is about it. Great staff, great fun. Will do it again for sure.

We had an absolute blast at Activate Games for my sons 10 birthday. We all got a workout in as we tried to master each games levels. Activate Games Louisville is the hottest new attraction in town! All the games are a blast. I’m in my 40’s and was able to keep up! Lol! This isn’t just for the young crowd! The staff is great, the building is clean (including the bathrooms). I highly recommend it and will be back many times!

Activate is a unique and exhilarating gaming experience. You have access to multiple rooms each with a different game. Every room also has levels and different ways to play. Games arent a one and done experience but offer replayability. Staff is friendly and let you have a great time.

This place was AMAZING! We went in not knowing what to expect- we had heard good things but we still didnt understand until we got there exactly how it would work! Basically you go in with your team, and have 75 minutes to play any/all kinds of different short games. They have everything from basketball to memory games to a laser room, and all of them have varying levels- and some have different types of games that you can choose from! Bring a team of people that is ready to compete- because it makes it fun to try and beat the high scores on your favorite games. :) I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Its a great value for the amount of time and fun you have. :) Oh and side note- be sure to wear comfy and cool clothes- we learned that lesson the hard way.Definitely worth a visit... Or 10 visits! Or 100! We are hooked!

Went for the first time with the whole family. Very friendly staff. Not waiting for games on weekdays in our experience. Great game selection, with levels for all ages, anywhere from levels for beginners to very challenging. I would highly recommend going!
