From the classic restored arcade games to the killer decor and refreshingly unique cuisine (try the tofu balls wrapped in green Rice Krispies!), its a fun community spot. We always look forward to going and always see neighbors when were there!

Button Mash is a blast! I wish I had visited them sooner!I love this concept! Ive been to a few arcade bars before, but this place is by far my favorite!Theres a whole dining area with plenty of delicious food options that you can order, as well as a bar where you can get beer or wine and tokens for the arcade games.We tried some of the Vietnamese rolls and some fries when we went one time and they were absolutely incredible. I LOVED the rolls! The sauce was perfect, the crunchiness of them was just right! I thought it was amazing!I also love all of the arcade games that they have here. Theres little tables between them to place your drinks down on, and they have plenty of different options to choose from - pinball, PacMan, shooters and racing games.The prices are all reasonable and the fun that you can have is nearly limitless! I had a blast the two times that I have come now and I will definitely be looking forward to coming again.

What a fun location and really good food . The staff is great and the pinball games have been lovingly selected . Great for families with kids 7 and up until about 8pm the crowd rolls over for a evening of fun and cocktails . The menu is asian infusion along with a selection to please everyone. Seems like NButton Mash is popping out everywhere. Glad I was finally able to try it. The quality and portions of the food is really good. The only issue we had was the service was slow but our waiter was nice. Luckily one in Buena Park just opened up close to me so Ill check that one out next time!

Ive been wanting to come here for years but the parking situation gave me too much anxiety the first time I tried that I never tried again. This time I liked out and got a spot right in front. Didnt know what to expect but it was much wider and spacious than it lets on.Each game is ran through a token (25 cents each) and you will go down nostalgia road from Double Dragon, Burger Time, to TNMT and the every fun Crazy Taxi. Lets not forget Wrestlecade, Time Crisis and Bust a Move. While you wait there are plenty of games to keep you company, time will go by fast...Lucky to be seated at a booth (ish) in front of a table. Definitely recommend ordering family style, a couple things to share. The corn cheese was off the charts, and I know everyone is raving about the dan dan noodles, but its the garlic noodles that won me over (must love garlic). Fries were the most disappointing but you cant really go wrong here if youre ready to eat, mingle, and play.

Best Thai along Foothill. Its pricy but its a family business so no biggie.They have most of your favorites. Really like their salad.

My wife and daughter are normally the toughest critics and they were well and truly satisfied. I recommend this place

We came to this restaurant for a meeting. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The meal was delicious. We loved this restaurant a lot and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Recommend the bread pudding which is the house specialty with Jameson ice cream and we also got a churros and ice cream. The bread pudding is lightly toasted around the edges. Sweet and savory.I cant say enough about their unique selection of brews and extensive options of whiskeys.The restaurant itself is spacious and the staff is attentive and friendly. There are TVs over the bar to enjoy the games.

I intentionally went early to avoid the night life scene, so I cant comment on that. I was in it for the FOOD. The bartender recommended the burger because he said they just won best burger from someone. I tried the burger but I thought it was just okay. The burger at Lowboy is better. I also tried the brussel sprouts and the garlic noodles. Both of those were really good and way better than the burger. The beer selection was also pretty good. I would definitely go back here.

Button Mash Bangkok Cafe is my new favorite restaurant! I went last night for some take out and got the vegetable and tofu soup which was so healthy and delicious, i also got the garlic chicken and the garlic rice, both were amazing. The prices are great and the food is even better! definitely recommended :)

Came to Button Mash during the lunch weekday special, price was not bad at all. We got the t-Rex hot pot, it cane with rice, eggs, your choice of broth, meat and veggies and your choice of noodles (vermicelli, udon or ramen).

At the moment you enter this place they give you a nice feeling. Very comfortable team, it is a friendly place to to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. very good food, professional chief cook and stuff, comfortable pay and courteous service. Highly recommended.

Nice place, more of a takeout place since there is minimal seating, but we were fortunate to be able to dine there. The place is small and very busy, the staff is really helpful and attentive. We got the prosciutto, spaghetti bolognese, chicken Scaloppine, forno Alfredo (thats not the name...). Everything was delicious. The same food would have been outrageous off of La Brea and the like areas. No plates were over $17 dollars. Zero alcohol sold here, so that keeps your dining in budget. We will be back...

Solid Thai food. Ive only ordered for pick-up, so cannot really speak to ambience or service. To me, the Green Curry is the item to order. The curry sauce has good flavor, and the eggplant melts in your mouth.

Pretty cool concept, with Asian fusion dishes, classic arcade game and craft beers, wines and ciders. We tried the Cheese Corn, which was pretty good for a spin on Mexican elote, and we also tried the brick bread dessert, which was delicious! We had a few ciders and beers, but my favorite was the coffee in a can with the side of milk they served me.Personally, I feel the Pwn Shop attached to the arcade bar is a waste of space, because its not a pawn shop, more of a novelty shop and truly would have been better as a space for pool tables, dart boards and air hockey tables. Hopefully they change that, it also seems like it would be a more consistent money maker, but who knows.

We were visiting the area for LA Comic Con last weekend and thought this would be a great addition and it was the right choice! The food was delightful, yet had its own spin on it. The drink selection was great and the arcade portion was super fun. Realized Im better an pinball than my husband, so thank you for that Button Mash! Will definitely be back if we are ever in LA again!

Awesome place, big space and very relaxed. Lots of cool arcade games and cheap to play on. Few cheap beer options too, food is a little pricey but we tried the ginger wings to share and they were very delicious.

The wife and I took our daughters (14 and 12) there this past weekend. The kids had a fantastic time and the wife and I enjoyed reliving playing the video games of our youth. Getting the chance to use a bit of fun history to bond and connect with the kids was priceless.Button Mash

Fun place to come have beers and play retro games! Very cool idea for us older folks who grew up playing at the arcades as kids. Haven’t had the food so I can’t comment on that

Service was good until we had a reserved sign stuck in the middle of our table without any explanation. Businesses live and die by customer experience, if you need the table, the proper way to communicate to your customers isn’t sticking a sign on the table, it’s through conversation. The excuse was this isn’t a fine dining establishment, but if you take reservations, you should also respect those who are there spending $$$.

Food was great and they had Tons of games! The service was on point as well. Great place to bring a date! Pro tip: all of their games (even the pinball) need tokens to play, you can get them from your server.

Spam fried rice! This place is amazing. The vintage arcade games are never newer than 1995. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beers are local and delicious. And the food! The tamarind wings are surprising and interesting with just enough spice. I honestly wish I had this place within walking distance of my couch, though I may never leave if I did!This is how a barcade is done.

Had a great time with about a dozen friends. Showed up early to snag a big table in the arcade. The games are fun and cheap to play. The beer list extensive and the hidden gem was the food. Really good well prepared items all with a small twist that made it even more delicious. Laid back staff with prompt service. Looking forward to going again.

I went to button mash on a Saturday afternoon and got lunch with my friend. The atmosphere was super cute and clean. We ordered their Mac and cheese and burger, and the food came shortly after. The Mac and cheese was delicious and I would definitely come back for it. The burger was ok, nothing special. After we ate, we played their wide selection of arcade games. I had so much fun playing with the pinball machines (they have a lot of them). Overall I would definitely come back and recommend this to anyone.

This place had surprisingly good food and beer.It gets very crowded at times which makes it hard to play all the amazing arcade games they have but the beer and food are worth experiencing.I also enjoy how you can get a roll of quarters and add it to your tab!

This place is not a gimmick, Great arcade classics and great pinball machines, you wouldnt really expect for this guys to have great food... and its not just good, its actually, pretty excellent! Fair prices and good beer! Also great service, I cant ask for nothing more!

Stopped by on a Saturday night, and received some of the greatest service! We set down our half full beers to play a game, and when we were done they had been taken away ): We talked to someone on bar staff and he was extremely kind and went through a lot of trouble to work it out. I feel terrible that I forgot to ask for his name, but he was genuinely so sweet and didn’t act inconvenienced at all! He will give you a warm greeting at the bar so I would definitely recommend stopping by for good vibes from all the workers and a nice selection of brews.

The lasagna with tofu... sounds weird and like congee, I hate tofu but this lasagna made me want tofu and definitely more of the lasagna.The fried quail legs were insanely good. It was served on white bread, similar to southern fried chicken but was flavored with an chili. Definitely a fried bird we could have had a bucket full of.

Fantastic LA destination if you are looking to do something different in the City! I been here twice now and had only great memories. The games are very affordable to play and the bar has a great selection of drinks to chose from. I also love the restaurant next door, it has delicious food! Its a little pricey.. but what can I say its located on Sunset! The only downside is their parking lot is pretty small, but theres usually lots of street parking.

Delicious Matcha latte. They put high concentration of Matcha juice into steamed milk so you get full Matcha flavor. Bright creamy green latte is pretty and delicious. This neighborhood gem reminds me of the classic San Francisco corner cafe. Simple and cozy decor invites you to sit by the glass window and enjoy your drink.

Very fun spot..i can appreciate all the young entrepreneurs running this place. Enjoy great modern and traditional cuisine while keeping entertained by some of the coolest 80s video games every made.

A hip hybrid bar, restaurant, and arcade. Korean inspired foods are delivered to your table, flagged by a kids trophy. Its tasty and comes out relatively quick. Priced well too. Drinks include a wide selection of craft beer, seltzers, and ciders. Some wines and spirits, though not as touted as the taplist. The arcade runs on tokens purchased either through the machine or from the bar; most games taking one or two tokens apiece.

The food here is quite amazing. Savory mac/cheese with bacon, great burgers, delicious fried rice and other Asian-fusion dishes. Really good Belgian ales and they even have Oberon from Michigan. Wxc plenty. Laddie games including Moonwalker which is very rare.

This place is pretty good, barely gets a four star. The food is simple, yet good and not too pricey. In the same large room, they have a retro arcade, with games like Space Invaders, Frogger and Galaga. Good place to go for kids birthdays.

Just enjoyed a delicious, huge pork-belly rice bowl from Button Mash for dinner. Not sure this pic does it justice. The mushrooms and the sauces were incredible! Topped off with their ginger lemonade, this is the perfect meal. Thanks to the chef, and to the staff for being so friendly. Happy to have found this gem.

Where Starry Kitchen goes, I follow. I follow for those delicious tofu balls, the crispy green hued gems topped with siracha mayo. The wings are a great order as well, and their burger is solid. I admit when I went it took a long time to get seated and to order, and one of my dining mates food didnt get delivered to the table until 45 min after the rest of us got our food. They tried to rectify this by giving us a free dessert (passionfruit panna cotta). I admit this was early days so Im sure things have gotten better. Fun classic video games (tokens only, so you gotta exchange your quarters for these), tough to park so I recommend carpooling. Fun night out...did I mention tofu balls?

The food was good and reasonably priced, the drinks were pretty standard fare, the staff was nice and attentive even while busy, but honestly the standout quality for me were the patrons. Everyone was really nice and considerate, and if anyone was watching you play a game while waiting their turn, they would cheer you on instead of pressuring you so that they could play.That said, a couple of the games were broken, though they worked to fix them (and did get Tapper working after they were notified that it was busted). They also had Ice Cold Beer (the game), in which Im a little bit obsessed with completing perfectly.In the back, they have a little store with cool gaming mementos, some of which are relatively unique. If only the entire place was just slightly bigger, though they do a great job with the space they have.

Good selection of arcade and pinball that people actually want to play! Good beer selection also! Parking can be difficult to find, so park along Sunset after 7pm and walk a bit.

Had Great Time visiting Button Mash with my wife and daughter. we walked in for dinner on what seemed to be a pretty busy Saturday night. We were asked to wait for a table but were also suggested we get our drinks from the bar and relax. There was a pretty wide selection of packaged and tap beer. we didnt wait long before our table was ready. our server was friendly and the food was great. We loved everything we ordered. My kid kept slipping into the gift shop and exploring. After dinner we hung around for another hour and a half and enjoyed the Arcade. The place was packed mostly with adults but still felt safe and fun for my 10 yr old. cant recommend it enough. if you ask me Id say come for the food and stay for the arcade.

I like that they use cheap coins (one quarter each) so it doesnt cost too much to play, but also people dont spend hours on the same machine making you wait forever if you want to use it, as it happens when you pay only for the entrance or an hourly rate.Why not 5 stars? Because several videogames had troubles with the coin slot. Like some time they would detect the coin, and sometimes they wouldnt without any apparent reason. I dont care about loosing a few quarters, its just annoying when you are in a 2 players game and one can continue while the other cant because his/her con slot suddenly stopped working.

The food here is sublime and quite unbelievable considering it’s in a retro video and pinball arcade.

While nothing was terrible, I didnt run into anything giving me an urge to return. I could tell theyre trying to deliver the kind of dinning experience sought by the discerning, and put a great deal of imagination into the menu, but found their execution fell short of the goal. While dishes were well presented, I found the food underseasoned and sensed a fear of culinary risk.

Let me just say food was great, arcades were vintage, service was spectacular. I watched Natalie deal with each personality and character with such care and patience, it was so beautiful. I was greeted by Angie who took her time to say hi to everyone in my party. Who genuinely looked at my family like they mattered. I witnessed Fernando stay untop of dishes and glasses of water with a kind smile. Thank you so much for such a beautiful first time experience. We will be coming back soon!

Love this place, alcohol, pinball, old school 8 bit classics and some great Vietnamese Fusion food. Even vegan options. Not that Im vegan, but who could ask for more?
